My pleasure... I was curious too... Still waiting for shipping prices to drop overseas so until then Oil Perfumery will do... They have the same quality as GP and UP. Just not a massive selection.
@@Scentsibility Just came across your channel and you may have been asked already...... Who do you use overseas? I've been using OP and African Imports; just found a local shop here where I live that does oils as well.
😊😊. Thank you!! This was very helpful as I own quite a few Oil perfumery scents. Ever since you introduced GP to me, I’ve been loving those. Only thing…shipping is like $20 so I always make sure I’m ordering quite a few to make it worth my while. I will definitely be trying OP now. 😊. Can you recommend a few more perfume oil companies you use to make sprays? I know you have a video somewhere, but I can’t seem to find it. Thanks

I may check out Oil Perfumery. Believe it or not, the GP sprays I made in January through August of 2019 still smell great (and last a long time). It is just so hard to use these things fast enough LOL. I had a friend and his girlfriend come over and I made them some 5ml and a couple 10 ml decants. The best part was, they have both traveled the world and said so many of these scents made them think of visits across Europe and the high quality of smells across the pond. She told me that Xerjoff Mefisto brought her back to being a little girl in Italy. Moments like that keep me wanting to use these kinds of oils.
I really want to buy A++ perfume, I just want lasting power in my perfume spray, is A+ enough?..maybe 30% of oil, 50ml of perfume contains 15ml of perfume oil. I reached out to gp on WhatsApp, asking about the parfume grade, grade A means more natural and synthetic in the oil
Hi Amber Marie, thanks for the video! What I can't find Everclear in my area? Any substitutes? I would love to spray it on my skin as well as clothes :) Thank you in advance!
@@Scentsibility will this work? Ethanol (96%), BHT (Butylated hydroxytoluene), EDTA, Octinoxata (Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate), Avobenzona (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane) + distilled water ...Do I need to use veg glycerin in this case?
@@tim8809-n6i I don't even know what those ingredients are. My channel is focused on natural and safe perfume making. I only recommend Everclear or Perfumer's Alcohol
Your perfume oil is already diluted in a carrier. Adding coconut oil cuts it even further. “Pure perfume oil” or, in other words, undiluted perfume, isn’t something you can buy without safety disclosure and precaution labels because it’s not safe to wear. Best way to use a perfume oil is simply the way it’s been sold to you.
Use everclear or perfumer's alcohol both are at the right percentage you need to make a perfume. You can find perfume percentage's online such as EDT, EDP, Extrait. I recommend starting with an EDT concentrate and bump up in two weeks after wear testing. You will need to do this with each one you create because some are lighter and some a stronger.
Yes but it won't last long... it needs time to macerate. I sprayed this one and lasted maybe and hour or two... 2 weeks is when it's fully macerated even then you will notice it gets even better over time. Everclear sticks to clothes better than skin. Perfumer's Alcohol works better on skin application. A half and half mixture of Everclear and Perfumer's Alcohol will give you best of both worlds if you apply to your skin and clothes.
Have you ever ordered from Universal Perfumes and Cosmetics? I got some of their ultra premium oils and made 20 and 30% concentration of each fragrance, after 1 month of maceration the lasting power is good but but projection is weak? Not sure what the problem is, even used perfumers alcohol 🤔
Dumb question. What is in the perfume oil if not a carrier oil? I’m confused. I wanted to make a Oil Perfumery Oil into a spray but it does has jojoba in it according to the site.
Perfume oil is made from different essences or essential oils. There pure no carriers oils. However jojoba oil can be broken down in perfume alcohol. You can test your perfume oils by using a shot glass with perfumer's alcohol or everclear in it and add a few drops. Stir and if you see an oily film it has a carrier oil in it... this type is unusable in perfume making... if everything has blended into the alcohol with no residue your good to make it in a perfume spray. Don't toss out the sample unless it's oily. The sample can be added to your perfume spray bottle.
Ok. On a completely unrelated topic (we’ll sort of), I was thinking of putting perfume oils in a diffuser. I have two cats. It looks like cats cannot be exposed to essential oils (well most of the popular smells anyway) because it can kill them or at least make them really sick, if inhaled. Do you think I have to worry about perfume oils in the same way? I would really like to use perfume oils in a diffuser. I’ve dropped a few drops on my light bulbs and it smells great!
@@Scentsibilityaren't carrier's oils necessary to directly apply the perfume oils you buy on skin? What i mean is that when you buy the oils from these companies they already come mixed with carrier's oils, otherwise they wouldn't be safe for the skin. What's your take on that?
What... obviously don't use it for perfume... they put additives in it so people won't drink it... if they do it makes them sick. I would not want those chemicals on my skin.
@@Scentsibility okay thank you!! I've been doing some research and apparently alot of people use this and even some companies. What perfume alcohol do you recommend that will be safe on skin and can be applied on clothes? For I'm trying to get the best of both worlds..
If it’s essential oils then it better have carrier oils before you do anything with it or if it’s pure essential oils you’re gonna have to dilute it yourself and it’s gonna suck for perfume applications regardless
Yes and no. They order a pre-manufactured compound and dilute it to appropriate strengths aligned with the purpose of turning it into an alcohol based perfume. What’s being done here is just a conversion of the application method I.E. rollerball/dabber into a spray.
THANK YOU.
Brava❣️👍😍

Jojoba is a waxy oil it doesn't blend well with alcohol
Some oils have seperati9n if they have certain ingredients. Chocolate and labdanum need to be heated and filtered into alcohol

I make the oils into a perfume with perfumers alcohol...50/50 some oils don't work as well.
I just went to the store looking for everclear but got suggested gem clear as well. So far I think it's better smelling than the perfumers alcohol.

Can I turn a perfume oil into spray with just fractionated coconut oil? Or do I also need to have alcohol included?
You can make it as a roll on but it will never be a spray unless you use the Alchohol
