I’m maining a rush down character, I have always focused my strategies on offense ( the best defence is offence mindset) and it got me so far. This video makes me want to focus on defence and counter attacks strategies. I have a lot of training ahead. Thanks.
Thank you very much, offense is very strong in SFV and it can certainly carry you very far, but a strong defense is a must to consistently perform well.
I swear, MCMura stays coming out with these fundamentals videos as soon as I start getting frustrated playing SFV. Maybe it’s Fate talking to me. It’s time for me to level up my fundamentals
Hi MC Mura, I recently got into street fighter and I really like playing Honda, but I can't find any up-to-date guides on him. Could you please do one?
I think i can, but i have about a couple of characters queued up first but i can certainly do him, i know so much about Honda since my training partner mains him.
Mc MuraFGC im late on this video but its a good video indeed i have 3 question ... I used to play chun now i fell in love with juri but i run into a problem and thats fireball ppl like guile and ryu i notice that juri hcb+k goes over them at 1 time i hcb+k on my block it was a revesal i was shock So ? #1 What do u think of reversals after block... #2 Is there a visual que for special move reversal timing #3 How come no1 talks about it
One time, I was playing as Bison and the opponent was a Smurf and had amazing defense. They basically blocked low and teched all my throws. Bison does not have an overhead, so I couldn't get a hit in. I just ended up rage quitting.
Overheads aren't the main way to open opponents up in SF5, even for characters who have them. To open up opponents with solid defense, you have to take more risks and incorporate shimmies and delays in your pressure sequences.
nah man, should never ever RQ, if what you are saying was right, the guy was good, say GG and move on. But having good defense can carry you very far in Fighting games.
I see. So the walk back while incorporating db is similar to a sidestep block option select in tekken. Great info to take into sf6 thanks.
"back dash throw tech" also but that's really high level..beats meaties, throw and shimmy..but loses to meaty low
I plan on going more on depth on this as the topic of defense isn't just easy to cover in 1 video, so its coming xD
Nice video and helpful tips to keep in mind. I'm taking my time to go through all your content as I practice.
Thank you so much.

I am shifting from Gief to Akira, and a lot of the game concepts were alien to me. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and your positivity.
you are making great content MC Mura! All the high level info i've been looking for. Thank you!
Thank you so much, you have been one of my earlier supporters and i wouldn't be keeping this up if it wasn't for supporters like you.
Man every video of yours I watch teaches me something. Keep up the excellent content
Thank you so much.
This is awesome, I wish I had this when I was first starting. Would love to see something on Delay jab.
I plan on covering the defensive options on multiple videos since its a pretty big and important topic, this one was just the start xD

What do u think of reversals after block...
#2
Is there a visual que for special move reversal timing
#3
How come no1 talks about it
I am not sure i understand tbh
How do u beat safe jump ins,?
If they are a real safe jump, you just have to block but there are so few real safe jumps in SFV
blayer
Me going online trying to try this, netcode reminds me not so fast.
I am having hard time with this game 🎯
After 5 years I don't think u can improve unless u pick meta
Depends on which area of the game we are talking about.

But having good defense can carry you very far in Fighting games.
That is correct, you have to notice their defensive patterns and try to solve the puzzle.
