Dude your videos are amazing, you're my go to resource when I want to learn anything about fighting games. You explanation is very easy to understand and your videos are organized. Best of all you group them by playlists! I hope you will continue making these videos when SF6 is out
Thanks Mura. I'll start playing GG once your tutorial is out. Until then, this video is going to help me tremendously (your other tutorials are also very helpful as always).
I appreciate this one I know it sounds totally backwards but when ever I get the opponent to the corner I always kind of panic a little bit and I feel generally choked on what to do it feels like me and the opponent are playing chicken or something to see who does something first
Great videos man, trying to learn to keep my opponent in a bad position and make the most of my advantage state. Been struggling alot against my friends abigail in neutral, gotta make sure I can get as much as I can whenever I get an opening or good positioning
I wonder how this plays out if someone chooses to backdash away from the grab instead. Super/special buffering I imagine would be very bad if not paying attention & letting it rip.
@@angelurbina2049 You buffer it and react to the jump, the idea behind the buffer is that you can reliably get the AA if they happen to jump, not saying you should let it rip if they didn't jump.
@@MCMuraFGC thanks for the reply! I understood you weren't saying let it rip, was just thinking is it possible for people to sometimes jump the gun with a bad buffer, or is confirming too easy for that to ever happen. Your videos are great man always learn a lot. I'm not real good with hiding or pre buffering inputs and os, so the whole idea throws me for a loop.
Good info. Hope I can remember & apply at least some of that, at least better than my opponents. They never seem to V-Reversal (though I do). Maybe I can try to AA them if they jump out (though they sometimes just jump over my AA). I'll try shimmying w/MP, if possible. Thanks.
@@Lee313FGC Hey, good to see you. From another Discord, huh. Mura's Discord is a good one. Yeah, I'm trying to apply all this tech, but slowly dropped from ultra to regular silver. Not sure how people reach gold, despite all the vids. Maybe you ranked up, though.
I think its generally harder to retain the information if you don't play a lot unfortunately but really, don't worry about the ranks. Sliver to super silvers just a couple of games anyways and we all go up and down.
randomly rewatched AA buffer on throw seems really good, maybe when this vid was new it didnt make sense to me- i wasnt at that level... about the offensive v reversal, can i use it as nash? seems kinda dumb since i will be teleporting into the corner... maybe i could hit them but probably not i normally use it to escape corner or pressure myself.
Small correction, Bison does not have the longest normal grab range in the game. Alex has. Bison shares the same range with the likes of Honda, Birdie and others.
I know this is an old video, but I'm wondering something about shimmies...do you commit to a button and then confirm the hit into a combo? Or do you only press the button when you confirm the opponent tech'd? Seems like it's possible to confirm the throw before pressing the button, but you gotta be really sharp. It seems really hard to do consistently.
It they block instead of grabbing while u can back do ur first button in the punish that u use for shimmies that's safe and make a string out of it if they do grab and u hit them confirm it
I'm mad that Karin got her throw loop nerfed in the corner but then other characters still get them like Cody or even get throw loops from anywhere on the screen 🙄 she's not even scary anymore after all her nerfs
@@MCMuraFGC The biggest thing for me was her stun nerfs, it is noticeably harder to stun now. It requires you to be overly aggressive in neutral to keep it going, which can be a pain for some match ups. Some other notable things, the push back on her st. mp made maintaining pressure harder. She used to be able to st.mp twice on block without having to walk forward. Removing the airborne status on her overhead was lame, I liked hopping over lows in neutral. What are your thoughts?
This had been postponed a bit cause i was doing GG and KOF stuff, but there you go. Good time to put it out while i recover

No worries, working hard on the Jack-O guide now
Beautifully informative as always

Great video tnx a lot! Keep up the good work.
Thanks
thanks buddie...u r the best!
That press anti-air button after throwing is "Gold". Thank you! This video has answered questions I've been confused about for a long time.
Thanks

Amazing stuff
Thank you. Nice video
Great content
Awesome video!
Funny part that Bison cant really walk back anyway. Well he can back dash only.

Indie animation. I played you years ago from discord. I see you comment every sfv video lol.. You still silver?

No, you don't really have an offensive VR with Nash
@@MCMuraFGC thought so, thanks
gold!
Thank you

Yeah, you are right, i just meant he was 0.9 so its a bit harder to shimmy him, technically you are correct.
Commenting on an old video but can you explain why you almost never do a raw grab in the corner and usually lead it with a light normal?
Got any tips for using escape V Rerversals like Kolins?
