Thankyou Evan for posting inspirational motivational videos with the people that bring me down or try to and discourage me to give up the problems challenges I have these are helpful and supportive it's nice to see how many people drive me to not give up ...
That's what I love about Richard; He's massively successfully and yet so down-to-earth about his success and simplifying the steps he took to get there. Thanks for sharing, Evan!
I really admire this guy. You all notice that he is not fluent and that is very common for people with dyslexia, I also have dyslexia and some ADD and this is a blessing as we process things differently. He is so bright, he has a wonderful mind, he sees the big picture and beyond.
Dyslexics, a disproportional (sp?) amount of entrepreneurs, need to be bold to speak out and break though all the judgment and insecurities they experience in a school system that cripples creativity and favors linear. fluent, and conventional minds.
Be a Leader - Listen, Motivate, Praise - Support and encourage people that they may Flourish like Flowers. This is good advise for business, personal and your family.
#3 He is very right on that. Governments, companies, organizations.. are dominated by their internal mentality, the jokes, and the spirit that the people inside of them have. Shitty people produce bad companies, bad governments, bad products and so on. Humble, cheerful, positive, respectful, selfless people produce better results.
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS!! He's my favorite businessman, his thoughts influences my entrepneural side the most. My favorites of his 10 rules are : Don't Give Up and Affect Lives Positively
My prefer point is Nr 10 "Do Things differently". Richard Branson is different and the way he made his success is different, so his company is representing himself, so it's a question, to be honest. I'm very happy that it is just him who made such a big success. A very rare human person. Thank you so much, Richard Branson to be with us :-))))))))
Quite frankly all of them are great and it's a tough thing to choose just one, I won't be satisfied with just one, it seems unfair for the other so I choose 4. Here are my favourites - Be a leader - Don't give up - Affect lives positively - Do things differently
"Screw It, Just Do It!" - love Richard Branson! (My first job in Los Angeles was working at his post production house 525 - it was a great job! I learned so much and grew so quickly thanks to the incredibly positive and nurturing people who worked there! :-) Rebecca
I really liked listening to Richard's Business Advice. I learned these same points in my own working career. I also really appreciated Richard sharing about him having dyslexia. Adding Richard's name to a list that I had been collecting of those great and famous people that have dyslexia and other disorders serves me well in that by showing those that are struggling, that they to can achieve their goals and more. I think the advice that I found most useful for me was that which I learned from my boss and mentor was to delegate. He needed me to learn his job so that he could move up and have more time to grow. The more I learned, the more he started delegating more assignments and more responsibilitieson to me. I started doing the same as I started giving presentations and workshops. It was an easy and smart choice knowing that my unit was in good hands whenever I attended a conference and took vacation. My dad was dyslexic and learned in the Navy how to work around the dyslexia. My dad became a master machinist and prototype operator. He also invented tools to use with the many machines he used over his lifetime.
its not about the video per se, but I have to mention how you make learning fun for not just your viewers but also your son. these values will be instilled in him for a lifetime just from watching his dad. kudos to you friend
I admire his determination, his passion & strength 😀to go for what he wants ! his positive thinking makes him go beyond the impossible! I just absolutely LOVE 💛THAT!!! “Screw it, let’s do it” is a quote that I love 😂💛
I believe in treating your workers well. I also feel that you should know the work that your workers are doing. There are many people who would say, if its so easy why don't you do it. And so, it sometimes proves to be a motivator when you can do it too. It also gives me an appreciation of how much work goes into doing the job and think of ways to make it easier for my workers.Richard Branson is one of my favourite persons because he defies all what corporate stereotypes look like and act. I think he is just an individual in is element. He is a success because he is exactly what you get.
Most successful personalities don't seem like the kind of person I could really get along with. Branson has the kind of personality I can't see anyone _not_ getting along with.
Awesome! Your a great dad! Take anyone of those rules away and it all comes crumbling down. ALL fundamental! A Great attitude, loyalty and enthusiasm is where I would start when looking for the right people and it's rare these days.
my most favourite is #5 ... Delegate. He's right. U can't be a jack of all trades but a master of none. Get the help U require from good, qualified, ambitious people to better yourself and your business venture/s, so that U as a person can operate without much pressure or stress and see your fortune grow. U will prosper .
I personally lived the 1st point of keeping things simple as this rule in life doesn't make things complicated and makes you understand the situation well. Peace.
I am going to write down my favorite 8 rules to stick in my memory. 1. Keep it simple. 2. Give it a try. 3. Be a leader. 4. Don't give up. 5. Delegate. 6. Treat people well. 7. Shake things up. 8. Do things differently.
Glad you liked it Shaunak. :) You might also like this other video of him, in case you are not able to watch it yet: ua-cam.com/video/R_MkJseoGGI/v-deo.html #BelieveNation #BTA603 Shine
Not really IN this video, but I love how Branson speaks out on taboo topics like drugs & prostitution... many entrepreneurs shy away from these subjects.
#bta18 all 10! Paints a well rounded picture of an entrepreneur and leader. Be honest, have courage, just do it , have integrity and treat people well.
I loved all of his rules, but the one that stood out to me was #6-Delegate. If you are an entrepreneur, then delegate to those who can do it better and think of the next big idea!
Affect people positively. I utilize my business, in part, to raise money for local non-profits and encourage RAK's. For the fundraising, I simply chose one product that would be my official fundraising product. 100% of proceeds that come from the sale of that product (a $1 item) goes to charity. I think EVERY business could be instrumental in their community in that way.
I think the rule "Treat People well " is the most important rule because if you can't do that, you won't be able to anything else in the entrepreneurial world. That's my personal opinion!
