Thank you for being so respectful to Richard, I love the way you conveyed to him just how much we appreciate this interview and the impact it has made. A big thanks from Nicaragua 🇳🇮.
Steven, thank you so very much for Bringing on Richard Branson, its interviews like this that sparks the minds that become someone powerful and creative
As a dyslexic, I totally get this, and it is a gift! I have always looked up t this man as an inspiration in life and hugely at school to help me get through.
It's not if you have a court case. Its why so many dyslexic men are in jail currently I think. The system can write faster than some people can read. It's literally that. They could be innocent or and productive. There's a gap in the market for diagnosis and Advocates for dyslexic people who can't afford legal fees but could pay something towards the help. It's a politically charged hornets nest if anyone did it. But it's a good fight. It looks as if there this help but in reality it's not in place. I am a dyslexic and no help diagnosed late in life dyslexic people in my experience don't give up easily. But it's a double bind system where winning is for losers. Here's the to do list of what's necessary 1) Decent reading software qnd extra appointments for dyslexics. 2)Advocates qnd accounting for dyslexic people in court proceedings. 3) Training given to legal professionals so they understand their own neurodivergence and how this can colour their perception of how dyslexic people work. 4)Memory prompts and notes allowed in court if the person has memory issues. 5) intelligence tests that are dyslexia friendly 6) loan people assistive technology 7) 3xtra time given for reading court documents. 8) Extra time for legal aid representatives to go through dyslexic peoples anointing of documents. 9) Disability laws change so that everyone has a fair trial. 10) Inclusion on the ground that there is different people who learn differently and that's OK. = culture change. 11) Thanks for listening. Dyslexic people do communicate in unconventional ways. We break social norms if necessary because the apparatus wasn't designed for us. It's a different more wordy neurotype. It doesn't make us mad bad or wrong. ✌️
This was an incredible episode! As a parent with a child who is dyslexic, when listening to Mr. Branson talk about his algebra struggles, no understanding to the things that have no relevance in his eyes he checks out and goes to read, research or watch what he’s interested in and masters it all. Mr. Branson kudos to you executing your visions to reality! There was so much to take away from this interview. 👏 Lastly, when I tell my son he’s different he always tells me “I’m a different type of smart”. While in school he never realized he had additional accommodations and when I was trying to explain to him what that meant and he didn’t instead continued to ask the school to put him in harder classes and I advocated for him no matter his differences in thinking. Again, great interview Mr. Branson is an amazing businessman!
Such an incredible episode, I can imagine this as a pinch me moment for you! Seeing your growth of this over the years is truly inspiring and so proud of your journey and how many lives you are helping with these insightful conversations!
I worked in a 5⭐ hotel in Ireland a few years ago, and printed in the handbook was a quote which read; "Train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so they don't want to". I have wanted to work for Richard Branson ever since then. He sounds amazing and sounds likes a really great man to work for. As the saying goes; "look after your staff and your staff will look after your business". I do hope the hotel brand would remove this quote from their handbook, because they train people like crap and they treat them the same way. Sadly.
Amazingly done. Thank you very much for an excellent hour with you both 👍🏻😎 Being CEO myself, you both provide inspiration and good energy which I can apply to my life as well through such Podcasts 👍🏻
I can see the, 'oh my god Richard Branson is infront of me,' excited but professionally calm face. I've admired Sir Branson and always wondered what he would be really like without scripted questions big lights and bigger cameras in the world. Much appreciated for this interview.

I had the privilege of briefly meeting him one evening where he could barely walk after he had just kite surfed the English channel. What an absolute legend! Thank you Steven and DOAC team! 🙌

Your guest Richard Branson, Wow! a true inspiring gentle soul . I didn't have to think it out within the contradictions of one's mind when it came to listening to Richard, as aposed to others you have interviewed whom have "made it" so to speak- be it -selling and buying consciousness =knocking people out or making money selling vape and alcohol to a variety of society's people and life's consequences that factually break up family's because of addictive substances etc... I purely felt Richard is a great achiever in the best scence of the word. Although others on your show have a place to be there, I think The likes of Richard Branson is light years above. Richard gives freely a true aspirational and inspirational flow of genuine consciousness and being to people. He doesn't seem to play people on his path to success and pose himself as something he's not ... he comes across in an authentic true form of a good humanbeing . We hope and look forward to more like him on your program.

I enjoyed every second of this interview. Steven, you ask the most incredible questions that bring out both the genius and the humanity in your guests. Thank you for interviewing one of the most inspiring icons of all time. You are, without a doubt, gifted in what you do.
I really love him! After reading one of his books many years ago I was so amazed and inspired by him, his ethic, his vision! Great conversation!
I love this podcast and I love Richard Branson. When I was at school I found out that he is dyslexic too and it gave me so much hope in my future and made me relax a bit about my exams.

The most decent billionaire interview and excellent interviewer approach. Refreshing, insightful…kudos! 🎉
What a decent human being. When money goes to a kind person, fear not. Lovely x
What an absolute treat to wake up to this on a Monday Morning! This has to be an award winning interview! Well done!
Thank you for being so respectful to Richard, I love the way you conveyed to him just how much we appreciate this interview and the impact it has made. I did a presentation in Management School about Richard. Such a genuine real life Hero. I found it most interesting to learn that courtesy towards others was highly valued in his childhood. No wonder he has such a dynamic personality. I didn't realise he was so attractive as well. I'm changed by this Podcast (as I often am with your content). Thank you🙏💙
Appreciate it Teena, thanks for listening!
I love how you always create space for guests to speak its what allows for the evolution of the conversation , a great conversation Thankyou !
So true - and such welcome refreshing positive change from the aggressive entrapping defeating approach used by many tv interviewers
I'm dyslexia and love to see Richard Branson he is the best.
It is amazing how much you can learn about such range of matters through the conversations Steve has with his guests. Inspiring people with great knowledge about their field and beyond. If it’s not yet the most important Podcast, it should definitely be the most important. The people that Steve brings to the table are the biggest influencers in the world!
Here's the to do list of what's necessary
1) Decent reading software qnd extra appointments for dyslexics.
2)Advocates qnd accounting for dyslexic people in court proceedings.
3) Training given to legal professionals so they understand their own neurodivergence and how this can colour their perception of how dyslexic people work.
4)Memory prompts and notes allowed in court if the person has memory issues.
5) intelligence tests that are dyslexia friendly
6) loan people assistive technology
7) 3xtra time given for reading court documents.
✌️
Wow! Very humble, kind, and thoughtful human being. Bless you, Mr Branson. Thanks for sharing with the world.
Lastly, when I tell my son he’s different he always tells me “I’m a different type of smart”. While in school he never realized he had additional accommodations and when I was trying to explain to him what that meant and he didn’t instead continued to ask the school to put him in harder classes and I advocated for him no matter his differences in thinking. Again, great interview Mr. Branson is an amazing businessman!
subscribed! I love the array of topics you bring on in your show!
Showing all podcasts that there’s levels to the game .
Sadly.
Such a calmness with you that opens your guests up, I am hooked on these.
A man of your word Steven. Bigger subs, bigger guests! No doubt it's been a big part of your success. I wish you all the best, in your journey moving forward. 🙏
Wow .....What a story and what a legend, no one broke more barriers and still is than Richard Branson. Fantastic interview Steven, looking forward to reading book and watching Richard HBO show. Hats off to get him on the show.
Damien
This podcast just just absolutely blows my mind every single time
just when I think it can't get any better you always go up ten fold
This was THE interview I was most looking forward to hearing Steven, and it certainly did not disappoint. Thank you so much .. I’m a great fan, of you both! 👏
What a well structured interview. I'm so impressed by your ability to keep voice control and calmness in your questioning. My quote, 'a quiet interview'. Then to interview my absolute favourite person on this incredible planet. Two voices that compliment a very intelligent and enjoyable conversation. Thank you Mr. Richard Branson for giving this young man a chance to chat to you.
Absolutely brilliant. Had the opportunity to meet this gentle giant some years ago in Washington DC. Thank you so much 🙏🏾
One of today’s best interviewer with one of the best storyteller, we’re in for a treat!
Let me know what you think Guillaume!
@@TheDiaryOfACEO it was such a wonderful interview. The closing was quite special, I know how much it must mean to you to have gotten this interview with Richard 🙏
I'm dyslexic and to all my teachers and piers.Thank you, I still got my bachelor of arts and honours. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.
GREAT INTERVIEW with excellent questions Steven! So far I've watched up to episode 2 of his "Branson" 4 episode tv series, Richard is so inspiring!
An incredible, INCREDIBLE, interview. Thank you... No words other than that!
"Weyland Industries"......springs to mind when I see these types of people being interviewed.
Not bad. There are a few people out there of endless vision…
Thank you so much for sorting out the lamp. I can now relax. Another brilliant interview with a true genius. Cheers Susan 😊
Was super excited when I saw you have Sir Richard on the podcast this morning. Probably my most wanted guest! I worked for Virgin Atlantic for a while and always super inspired by Sir Richard and his story. I had the privilege of briefly meeting him one evening where he could barely walk after he had just kite surfed the English channel. What an absolute legend! Thank you Steven and DOAC team! 🙌
Good day Mr Branson. You are my inspiration. God bless Sir❤
I wrote a letter to Richard over a year ago as I wanted some advice on building a business, although the response from presumably his PR company was nice I've always wished to have spoken with Sir Richard Branson, I'm glad you did this interview as I feel like I perhaps now have. Thanks, Steven!
Thank you! And thanks for being a member xx - SB
This CD is absolutely wonderful! ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq I liked it so much that I bought a copy for my sister who also liked it. It is very well done. I like the fact that there is nothing in the background to disturb - no music. I am able to concentrate on the various steps of meditation. The pauses are perfect, and him's voice is soothing and encouraging. I would highly recommend this, especially for beginners. I think I will always be a beginner.
I need to take a month's leave from work to watch all your brilliant videos!
Sir Richard Branson has always been a role model I aspire to be like. His zeal, determination, never give up attitude, and aiming beyond typical mindset. Truly someone I hope to meet someday.
Well done on another smashing interview Steven!!
Stephen ! I was trying to go to bed.
And now I have to stay up even longer to watch this beauty at 6:40am. Great guest sir
Steven! You go from strength to strength on your journey of sharing the most inspirational and comprehensive content here on this platform. Be aware that people agree to come on your podcast because of YOU! You shine in a world of mediocrity. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
I am a recent subscriber. Really appreciate the long format and allowing the guest to speak without interruption. I am not an entrepreneur but the variety of guests you have is very interesting. Thank you.
I totally agree...I love the long format!
it’s 6am and i can’t wait to watch this one!!!
Let me know what you think
The way you explain complex financial concepts is impressive. Your ability to simplify and break down these topics makes it easier for viewers to grasp important financial knowledge. Thank you for making this content accessible!"
Thanks for such a great discussion.
Our pleasure, Richard! x
I really enjoy your interviews but I´d like you to know that this fantastic interview is the first that has come my way since Winter...algorithms gone awry? Please keep up the great work. Thanks so much
MASSIVE EPISODE. Big Up The Diary of a CEO!
❤
Here for this as always
It just keeps getting better and better with each episode ❤❤
Thanks for watching 🙏Let me know what you think
Steven,
The Diary Of A CEO, Richard, Virgin,
we are brilliant, noble and strong together.
Richard Branson? I actually shouted holy sh*t when I read the title. This is the reason you were my number one podcast this year.
🙏
Wooow!
That's Richard The Lion Heart.
We dyslexics are so grateful for enormous help, for us to discover ourselves
❤
You have to skip quite a while till he settles in if you're annoyed by all the initial 'uhhhh, ermmm , aaahhh , ermmm' - Gonna listen now - but almost shut it down before skipping 🤓😎
Can't wait to listen to this now I know it smoothes out!
Thank you both as always :)
I've given up - the umming and ahhing is all the way through, and I just can't deal with it...
You have to appreciate all Richard's speech imperfections. All part of his Brilliance and Character..........Paul
@@leilaboyle yes I’ve found it impossible to listen to !!!! I’ve given up to be honest.
Such a shame. A lovely man but so hard to listen to
@@leilaboyle Terribly short sighted from yourself. I can't stand prim and proper clipped clinical polished well to do types. So there, Huh. ....Can you image what the world would be like if we all behaved, sounded, and looked the same.? I'll finish now. Getting too annoyed.........P
What a Honor... Childhood Hero Richard Branson
Fabulous interview. Well done Steven. Very natural, humble, leveled interview.

I pray for more teachers like you.
I love this podcast. I love the conversation. I love as Sir Branson is talking about that "giving the best" & creating
Brilliant! 🤜🤛 That went so quick. My bro-in law did some business with him designing an air terminal in SA some years ago which I don't think ever got the permission to go ahead. They were trying to fit in time for the meeting. Richard suggested a breakfast meeting...At my bro-in-laws house in North Yorkshire. Huge respect to him. I worked for Virgin Media for many years so thanks for putting the bread on my breakfast table Sir Richard Branson.👏👏
What a masterful interview by Steven and what an inspiring human being Richard Branson is.
Respect from Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 west African
🙏
Love it, thank you for digging more out of him. I have been following this unique Gentleman on and off since I was studying in UK starting with Virgin Record then follow on others.
This episode was so fulfilling. Eye opening and inspirational.

I woke up this morning and went WOW! It got me straight out of the bed so I can watch during the breakfast. Amazing! Thank you.
