Do you have a preference on swaxe playstyle between world and rise? I fell in love with it in world, but after playing with it in rise world just feels so clunky
i like rise for the rapid morph, directional morphing, morph double slash, and the DING ZSD is too strong in world but i love the phial stacking mechanic lol
@@juzzi personally, I decided to not use mantles anymore when I switched from hunting horn in base world to switch axe in iceborne. makes sa way more fun imo. this results in pretty much the entire moveset being relevant, unlike rise. sa should embrace a playstyle, where you use both forms of the weapon. As such, I'd like for amp and power axe to apply to the respective other mode and it shouldn't be possible to easily restore the switch gage without ever running out.
@@xHeigoux i like the switch axe that switches - sword and axe style being distinct is whatever but having this constantly morphing weapon that just feels so fluid is my preference switch axe historically has been just sword and iceborne isn't really an exception - the strongest axe move involves morphing to sword lol, most of the axe moveset is relevant only when gauge is low and not because it's strong i don't care for gauge management. they can make the slow ass axe swings relevant by giving them big MVs so they're superior as pokes but still inferior in combos and punishes - i don't really want to be forced into axe mode because of low sword gauge.
Demon petlace is preferred by those who max attack. It doesn't apply here, but it happens to add more stamina than HP, which is perfect for weapons like dual blades and bow if you don't have infinite stamina.
this run requires:
thunder starburst bug
small size
tigrex: *lifts a finger
juzzi: *DING
-How many counters do you want?
-Yes
man, I can't believe how lucky you were to get this run on your first try without any farming.
It's crazy how switch axe used to have such a terrible matchup against tigrex in Iceborne, for example, and now has become this well paced against it.
Huh?!? Zsd gave switchaxe a nice way to chain claggers and knockdowns
Power axe goes brrr, what do you mean a terrible matchup
The skill Bladescale Hone has not activated.
so fun to watch man, congrats
What a great run that came from a week of grinding and definitely did not happen days ago 😉
"This'll be easy."
👀the fabled 4:58 run
2:16 turning the starbust bugs into thunder is so 5head thooo.

These takes are crazy. 😅
Clunky in rise? Needs to use both axe and sword fluidly in Rise? We even playing the same game?
Ion even know what to say 👏
counter hunter rise sunbreak
Damn good swaxin
counter storm😍😍😍
I want to ask, why do you choose more stamina over more health, I feel like having more health if running berserk would be better.
the demon petalace gives 5 more raw, and my hp isn't a concern if the run goes well
