@@lastamericanhero59 wow, i thought the same thing, but both Omari Hardwick and his character in the movie are members of Alpha Phi Alpha (See photo in his intro).... Which still makes the brand make no sense outside of Snyder wanting to plant easter eggs. An Alpha would NEVER get an omega brand LOL.
The point is she tried. She was the only one that went in the suicide mission with selfless reasons. Trying to help those kids not go motherless like she had to. But then ended up having to kill her father who killed her mother. She’s better then the rest of us. She gets a pass from me.
@@notyouraveragebear9326 no, her father also went in with the intent to give all of his money to her so that she could start over and help as many people as she could along the way. Selfless indeed.
Bro this movie got me 💀, not only they didn’t make it out with the bag, but they couldn’t even save the mother and they all died. The true villain of this story was the daughter Big Sad.
Regardless to what happens with Scott and Peters in the end, the rest of the team died for different reasons. If anything this was Martin and Tanaka’s fault to begin with.
The daughter is not to blame for the death of the team. It was the guy with the hat. He angered the alpha zombie which led to him to go after them and blocked their way to the helicopter and the death of Maria Dieter & lily. Either way it wasn’t gonna be an easy way back. Time was the big problem for the team. They waited too long to do something specially with the helicopter scenes at both buildings.
Stupid to not just use helicopter in the first place and dropped directly in the building and close any openings...instead of walking in the den of zombies
Remember the guy who said. "Im out, You're all gonna die" I knew no one in that team will survive. How about the daughter you say, well, she's not there in the meeting right.
I loved how he was in the planning montage though, it make the joke more surprising when be realistically just up and quit after finding out how suicidal the mission was.
@@chososwife the last guy died because he got bitten so if they leave quickly, they might survive. But that scenario wont give us a trill so nevermind i just gave it a thought.
The father- daughter story line could had been dropped. Also that mother she was attempting to save - story line could had been dropped. I cared more for the first lady (the bad ass that got lost is the crowd of zombies) that died.
This! That story line where the daughter is willing to risk her life to save the mother of the kids who willing chose to go in there regardless of consequences, is so dumb! The mother did choose to go in with the zombies so why would that other girl risk her life? Dumb, dumb, dumb but I guess movie logic.....
The daughter symbolized Snyders daughter. Snyder was always working and never spent enough time with his family. His daughter killed herself. Snyders team- aka the justice league, died without him.
Makes me wonder if the money and the queen head was a farce. There was something else going on... Would explain the blatant plot holes and unexplained things.
But they didnt know about the coyote. It was Scott reaching out to his daughter Kate who then knew about the coyote and contracted her to get them inside. The government and those contracting the mission did not know about the coyote.
They're all mercenaries and guns for hire, they don't care what the job is. So they go in, get the queens head, and leave. Then 2 hours of them all drinking in a bar laughing.
Big shout out to Richard Cetrone and Athena Perample for playing Zombie King and Queen, although they had no actual dialogue in the movie but their expressions were on point...
I liked the theory about the radiation affecting the bite infection. The fact that Vanderohe hasn't transformed during his flight from Vegas to Mexico City means the Transformation was delayed and the flight attendant's comment about him being cold means he is changing. Maybe he will keep his "look" with the zombie hunger and speed and strength and become the first Vampire.
@@sirabrix8040 True but it couldve been avoided had the daughter not ran off. Scott wouldnt have called the elevator thus his love interest, Deiter and Vanderohe would make it out together to the lobby. They all had a better chance of covering each other with the entire group at full strength. They'd fly off afterwards. They all get their money and Tanake is happy with his head. Without Martin and Lily, there wouldn't have been a deal.
@@ScottCyclops idk get why everyone is pinning it on the dauighter. martin killed the queen. if he didnt kill her zeus wouldnt have gone ape shit n sent the whole army after them. dood should of just killed some other zombie.
@@joebadass06 The head mission was a necessity for the entire operation. Thats what Tanaka was after. He didnt offer the mission for the money. Without the head he wouldnt have offered the mission in the first place. You're forgetting that even if they didnt kill the queen. They would stil have to fight Zeus since they had to confront him for Geeta. Thats walking in his own home and taking his hostages. They would have died in any scenario that the daughter strayed from the group. Worst case scenario is everyone dies except Martin who abandons them before they went of to save her. They need an alpha. The only alpha they can lure and have a repoir with is the queen. They shot in the sky to lure any alpha but it was the queen that responded. It is unlikely they know that she is the queen. Nobody sends their queen to the front lol.
The only thing that bothers me is how the hell Zeus made it to the Olympus that fast, he was on the rooftop of the casino and he managed to go quicker than the freaking helicopter lol
Yeah I anticipated it as well. They shouldnt have shown the zombies storming the casino. It would have been a shocking turn that we wouldnt have expected.
So when they first walked into Vegas notice how the shamblers were all in piles. Maybe in an alternate time line, the shamblers were killed by the team and left in piles.
I really feel that the man in the army hat was part of the “the time-loop” because he told coyote that he “tricked her twice “ I believe he is referring to the “first” time he went on the heist with the team and got them killed but I really feel as if though coyote was along with it and that’s why she “felt bad for the people she’s lost” referring to the “first” time the team went on the heist and she watched them die. This is just how I feel if someone wants to add input please do this movie was great
Im glad im not the only one noticed that one zombie was a freakin robot! he had a metal skull and sparks flew when it was shot!! Unless he was a guy that suffered some accident and got metal plating from surgerryy??
Indeed. A lot of people peeped that, but sadly was an unexplored point in the movie. I liked the movie, looked beautiful. But there were some glaring issues and unnecessary ass deaths, and I hate Kate because essentially, she is the reason the test of the team fucking dies when she goes Rambo.
@@lilyvelasquez7565 not one of these posts is in reference to Zeus, the zombie you're talking about though, who does infact wear a makeshift mask to protect himself from most conventional headshots...so why are you laughing ? You do realize you're actually completely missing what we are talking about right? We are talking about the actual few robot zombies you see. Like in in the escape, when Gumez is holding the hallway, Alphas start to roll up, one of them has led blue eye and distinctive metal features as he gets blasted compared to the soft meaty zombies, and in the casino, and the other ones mentioned here.
You needed the daughter's connections to even sneak them into Vegas. The daughter is there to serve not only the plot of the heist, but also Scott's character arc.
Scotts love interest couldve helped with his development. Making him realize how terrible he was to cut his daughter off. You could've easily give the " She has connections" role to the blonde girl. Hell anyone in that group. She was unnecessary from start to finish. The movie SHOULD focus on the most interesting part of it. The zombies. I don't like her at all because she's an idiot. If she died in there. Which was a high probability because it was never mentioned that she had any combat experience with zombies. Then the kids would've had nobody left. Her best bet was to rely on her fathers words. While she couldve felt that it would be empty promises. It was best bet that she had. Instead of charging into something completely out of her element.
The entire thing is a dreadful re-write of Aliens but with zombies, the very scene you are talking about with the tiger is also taken from aliens, character and situation... I could go on and on
I wasn't entirely paying attention when they sped off, but saw something flash, thought it was like a jet doing a fly by or a drone. Couldn't be bothered to rewind it a bit to check since I wasn't expecting much out of the film anyways XD Though I did think it was kind of weird seeing the blue from the zombies in a few instances, which made me wonder about the whole infinite loop that was talked about.
I've noticed it but I thought it might be missile firing. Means some military training going around, so I didn't gave much attention to that. But after seeing that robo zombie, blue eyed zombie, blue blood zombie, & time travel theory after seeing those dead bodies. I realized that it was not a missile firing, it was something more.
Did anyone else notice how Zeus had a buzz cut in the beginning of the film and his hair grows longer. Confirming that it’s not a typical zombie cuz his hair still grows. Really interested in how they’ll explain this world. I’m heavily invested in it rn trying to see all these theories.
@@Holydiablo Bruh... just cuz you can't put together a theory doesn't mean you have to degrade other people and try to get them to your level, have some respect.
Yeah lmao when I saw the blue eyes I immediately thought it was a reference to the Richthofen controlled zombies. And maybe it could be like a time loop similar to the mob of the dead storyline. It’ll be interesting to see what Snyder does with these films.
You know what made it weird? -The locksmith despite without any experience with guns or killing zombies could headshot zombies. -The skeleton used by Kate to keep the ladder's grate cover open suddenly vanishes. Zack Snyder is the man of detail so I won't easily believe it was a mistake. -There are 3 guns in the vault, it might hint something. I think the loop starts when Tanaka snaps his finger. or it was a simulation by an alien?
I think the locksmith could headshot zombies since a locksmiths' hands must be really steady to pick a lock. The daughter could have also moved the skeleton away so that no one could have gone for her, since the door was lock, she could have just pulled the skeleton away
He didn't just headshot a couple zombies. They also showed that the first time he ever shot a gun, he was able to hit all the glass bottles without missing.
Yo... What if Tanaka is actually an alien that was sent to see how their virus worked? Theory: The aliens are the creators of the virus and actually working with the US Government. They handed the virus to the government so that they create their super soldiers, and followed Zeus around to see how the experiment goes. The aliens have the ability to activate a time loop with the snap of their fingers. And because the mission to get their hands on an alpha head failed the first time, Tanaka snapped his fingers twice to activate the time loop immediately. Upon seeing the second and probably third times the mission failed, on the fourth loop, Tanaka snapped his fingers once since he had witnessed two or three failures and he wanted to be prepared just in case the fourth loop turned out to be a failure as well. So what if, upon learning that Vanderhoe was bitten by Zeus, what if by snapping his fingers three times, he cancels the loop because now there will be a new alpha zombie?
The amount of time wasted with them all staring at each other when they should be running, the apologizing and the talk about past mistakes seriously couldn't wait till they were out of a zombie infested zone? Especially the fucking daughter basically killing them because she wanted to save that woman and ended up getting her dad and everyone else in that heli' killed...honestly i wouldn't blame Peters if she had just left their asses to die.
Would have given them some extra time tho, Ray. I thought same thing. Between daughter's bullshit and leaving the queens body in the open, guaranteed no survivors. Pissed me off the daughter lived

I think there will be 2 movies but at different timeline..in this movie they all died but Kate survive. The skeleton that died which is them were probly a first loop where they fail. The second loop Kate survive. Maybe the third loop they all go out. Accept martin. Then there the helicopter on the roof she starts it up and something blows up so clearly something has broken and yet she still able fly it. The most interesting thing I have noticed in the film is that in the scene where Van explains about the alternate timeline, the scene cuts to the dead bodies and flashes to Scott, Maria (the one whose neck is snapped), and the pilot lady to and fro. Interestingly, for the anime series which is supposed to be a prequel, returning cast members for the same include all the three, Scott's daughter and Van himself. So maybe the prequel series is going to be much more than we think it is.
Of course and since this is a Netflix film, they will make a sequel to this. I mean they made The Kissing Booth into three movies, why not Army of The Dead too?
Basically some of the zombies with the blue eyes are robots zombies if u did watch the movie u can literally see before gooseman die he shot a zombie in the head with spark and blue blood so its like the black guy said to when he see the skeletons with the same clothes as theirs teamates it could be a loop or some sort of video game

I found another proof for the "Time Loop" theory. The beginning intro of the movie shows us the three main characters in a scene that never happens, and some die.
Well, not exactly, they had that mission and thats the mission that led Tanaka meet Scott. Its not time loop, its the same timeline but different mission and time. The only real clue of timeline is when Van and Dieter are joking about the bodies (Idk if they really saw the similar clothings or if it was a joke) I prefer the aliens take on it as its a more approachable concept and theory, nevertheless I hope they make a sequel, loved this.

There were a lot of frustrating decisions made by the characters just to steer the plot. I mean why did Tanaka's security guy that went in with them seemingly HAVE to try and get them all killed? Why did he HAVE to take the Queen's head, surely knowing that would piss off the alpha, when surely any 'smart zombie' would have done? Why didn't anyone make ANY effort to save Chambers when she had made it out and was STILL FIGHTING and CLEARLY alive? WHY didn't she shout out that the dick security guy locked her in the room, confirming to everyone that he is not to be trusted? IF the 'smart zombie' head is worth A LOT more than $200,000,000, why not tell the team that and take the Queen's and her guard? Therefore having double the value and get out early on? No repercussions for that if the city is going to be nuked, the alpha, along with every other zombie, will die too. OR WHY did they not get the money first whilst everything was calm, make their way to the entrance where they came in and THEN when the Queen and her guard showed up a second time, collect the heads and leave? Also, how comes they couldn't fly in as it's a 'protected air space', but they could fly out? Is that a thing? It doesn't make sense to me? WHY didn't the two trapped at the Olympus, the mother of the quarantined kids and her friend, at least TRY to escape when every zombie ran off to kill the team? If the team was incentivized by the money, the safe survived the nuke anyway, I know they wouldn't have known that, but it renders the movie pointless in hindsight additionally because the woman who the dumb daughter ran off to save seemingly died in the helicopter. I also find it odd that it took soo long to nuke the city full of zombies, seems like a no brainer to me.
Good points. I liked the characters but I despise movies where every one dies. And die in ways that could have been prevented. The daughter running off solo was beyond ridiculous. She witnessed smart zombies, tiger zombies, shamblers and still thought it was a good idea to go off solo and do what exactly?? Had the smart zombies not all left she would have been captured along with the woman she was trying to rescue. I wanted to like this movie but it was hard to watch. And yeah the woman Chambers COULD have been easily saved. They sat there and watched her fighting and no body tried to help. I could see if she was bitten when she busted through the glass but she would of had a chance had she had even one person helping her. She was a bad ass as well and I hated to see her die so early. Also the daughter going in would have not happened...I would of tied her up and put her on a bus or something. She was a liability and sure enough she got people killed. Namely her own damn father!!!
I can probably answer a few, and even give even MORE stupid decisions they all did! 1. It's likely none of the soldiers or regular people there would have allowed the security guy to leave with a zombie severed head, less so if they knew the govt wanted it for an controlled army. With some seeing first hand how dangerous fighting the zombies were, others just decent morals, the money strategy doesnt seem viable, so he probably would have needed to get rid of them all. And of course Peters would question the guy she was already suspect of and let everyone know. 2. He probably didn't need the queen, but she was the one that just came out to check with her guard. It seems it was the queens job to do so. Either way she was likely to die anyways whether she was decapitated or like the guard shot up. 3. It's so stupid how they let Chambers die. They easily could have cleared away for her. I have no clue why Guzman didn't try killing the zombies. Maybe there's an argument everyone but Guzman and the Sec guy were gone. And Guzman was scared to hit her. Which is easily disproven when he perfectly shoots the gas. But as for her saying stuff, she was already fighting off zombies and early crashed out a window. She was likely too tired to say anything and just wanted to make sure her friend left. And she was probably being bitten too. 4. The women probably didn't know how many left. There was alot of noise but as far as they know only like a few left. There could have been more around. 5. The helicopter thing probably meant that the military would blow up people trying to go in but not out. After all, we see the govt is kinda involved in this mission. And they would also want to questions survivors that managed to get out. As for the nuke. Govt was involved and had stake to learn about the zombies. Plus people be having feels. "No kill meh zombi3. They people too" and stuff. But on to even stupider decisions. Ahem.... Why the hell would Chambers tell the security guy she didn't trust and the let him go FIRST!? The backstab thing was pointless because he would be last in a zombie horde! First thing of survival is never be first or last, last because then you are the one the creature gets and can be left behind, like in this scenario. If everyone was suspicious already by the Sec guy, why didn't anyone question him about chambers death? Were they not suspicious anymore? Why would the Alpha send out his pregnant queen to do the meetings? Was it sure nothing was gonna happen to her, ever? Why did the safe guy and Val take so long to get into the safe with how much time they had? Why didn't Batista call in Peters of his coms like he always did before? To let her know he was coming And to keep her there? How did the Sec guy even make it outside? He was heading to the roof! Why didn't Lily and the Sec guy hide the queem and guard bodies they just shot? They knew the Alpha would flip, so his them to buy time! And the mother of all stupid decisions, why did the daughter leave? She knew they didn't have long to get to the roof and leave by helicopter. Did she think she ran like a cheetah? That she was gonna smuggle the ladies out of a zombie infested building run by intellectual zombies and make it back before they needed to leave? So stupid. And let's not even mention the plotholes.

Vanderohe's theory about time loop. If you think about it, he is right. The characters are stuck in a time loop and continue to re live their failure within the movie, Tanaka is US... the viewer. Watching them(as a movie) like a sick game for our viewing pleasure.
Tanaka never wanted the money, when he got to know that his man got the zombie queen's head, he immediately contacted with government officials to reduce the nuke time to 1 hour instead of 1 day. So that the team can fly the helicopter early to the escape. Without wasting time on collecting more money from the vault, also he might have considered the zombie outbreak after queens loss.
The symbol on Omari’s chest is the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. The actor’s character is a Q-Dog from his college fraternity days. Nothing more, nothing less.
He is an Alpha, also in the photo you can see where she says the brand makes an Omega, he has on his Alpha graduation scarf. It really just hints that he is the first and last
What if Tanaka is an alien with access to multiple timelines, and his job is to guarantee the survival of the zombies. So the real mission was never the head, but to see Vanderohe to safety after identifying him as the prime candidate for the evolution of the species and infecting him? He could have tried multiple other possibilities that all ended with the destruction of all of the zombies, so guiding Vanderohe to the vault was the final attempt that was actually successful. Makes sense...
Plot twist: Army of The Dead is actually an alternate timeline that the Flash created when he time travelled, and the alien virus is a variant of the parademon transformation procedure, that was released into the world.
This movie reminded me of at least three different scenes of "Aliens". Chambers reminded me of Vasquez: headband and badassed. The chopper scene at the end reminded me of Bishop leaving Ripley, only to return. Tanka"s guy, Martin, reminded me of Burke and his company"s secret mission to betray and capture a live baby Alien.

Like in in the escape, when Gumez is holding the hallway, Alphas start to roll up, one of them has led blue eye and distinctive metal features as he gets blasted compared to the soft meaty zombies, and in the casino, and the other ones mentioned here.
If you take the daughter and her entire plot out of the movie. It couldve focused more of the zombies and crew plot.
It would still be the same movie. She is only relevant by the end of the film. Everyone still would have dies. Pay attention !
You needed the daughter's connections to even sneak them into Vegas. The daughter is there to serve not only the plot of the heist, but also Scott's character arc.
Certainly, for me it was unnecessary drama. Would have been happier if she replaced the zombie queen of the alpha zombie
There is definitely alien intervention here, Zack is crazy for creating this, alternate timeline, ufo, robot zombies !!!!

I feel like there is so many conspiracy theories in this movie.
Why is it so strange to believe the average human is stupid? Just look around you. The daughter was not stupider nor smarter than the average person.

He’s not, he’s an alpha
@@GoddessYan you are right. I just remembered that. I stand corrected.👍🏾
He is an Alpha, also in the photo you can see where she says the brand makes an Omega, he has on his Alpha graduation scarf. It really just hints that he is the first and last
So Scorpion had to hire mercenaries and couldn't handle a couple of zombies.
Damn it, Barry!
Truths, on those observations man,it's likely its in Snyder's top 10 flicks... definitely in my top 10
The holding up of the severed head was a"Medusa"Easter egg.
