From Emmy-winning executive producer Dick Wolf and co-creator Derek Haas comes Season 10 of the drama "Chicago Fire." This adrenaline-fueled ride is a look into the lives of Firehouse 51's firefighters and paramedics as they risk their lives to save and protect the citizens of Chicago.
Led by Capt. Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Lt. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney), the Truck and Rescue Squad companies are more than co-workers, they're family.

I really did like that scene Chief Boden is really like a father to Stella Kidd and she's right he is
He always had such love for her. From the minute she came to 51, he knew she was destined for greatness. Always looked out for her❤️

I loved that he looked out for her but didnt hold her back like others would do. He knew her capabilities and he helped her extend them while lookinf out for her. Thats what I love abt him

The bond between them is so strong. I love the relationship of them because it’s a father-daughter relationship. Boden reacted so emotional and lovely. He would do the wedding everywhere and everytime. I love the whole series.

I absolutely love that and I started tearing up right away!! I admire Boden for being such a father figure to her because I don't have a father in my life. I will have to ask a father figure to walk me down the aisle in the future.
Just don't get tricked. Hollywood is here for a reason. To give us unrealistic ideas about everyday relationships. Sometimes it is realistic. It doesn't always pan out the way you want it to
Nicola, Even tho I had a Justice of the Peace gathering: My uncle Gave me away cause I didn't have my Dad anymore. It was one of the Happiest days of my Life!!! Besides when I gave Birth to my Son
@Nicola Cheung, I hope the person is as honored to do that for you as Bodin was was for Kidd. I had my father, but my cousin with whom my husband and I had a double weeding with had lost her dad very young, and her older brother walked her down the asile.

I'm not much of a fan of the being walked down the aisle tradition, but this scene had me SOBBING. wallace knew what she was going to ask as soon as she called him her father figure and the eyes on that man, it just meant so much to him like he thinks he's not the best parent but he's the dad of the entire fire house and to stella especially and their bond is so important to me
I just think it had to be done, I definitely agree that Boden is a father to everyone at 51
Chief Boden is a great leader he really cares for those that are under his command and they really care about him
I liked that Stella asked Chief Boden if he could give her away to Severide since she is not really close with her family and her real family is Firehouse 51
@Angelina Smith Stella actually doesn't have much of family as she's an orphan. She only has her aunt and uncle left.
I swear at one point she mentioned a brother or am I thinking of someone else?
@Madeleina Lazaris She mentioned a brother when they were all ganging up and making fun of Brett after they found out she has an extreme phobia of clowns. Stella joked about her brother to Brett. However, it wasn't mentioned anymore and therefore it isn't really known if she was referring to a biological sibling or a foster sibling.
It’s so adorable because the chemistry of both of them is really good. He would do anything for her and she sees him as her father.
Boden is such a great guy. I knew without even thinking what he would say, and I was right.

I hated the last scene of this episode but I'm beyond thrilled that Stella Kidd and Kelly Severide are married. I went from crying happy tears for this couple to screaming expletives during the last scene before the credits rolled.
What happened in the last scene?
@madjames 23 The recently married couple went off the grid to the Severide cabin to have some personal alone time so they can enjoy their honeymoon but unknown to them, the drug lord Kelly was gonna testify against, shadowed and followed them to the cabin.
Now That's Is A True Man Of Honor.
I loved that scene, I really do think that the writers could have done a better job for Severide and Kidds wedding. We waited how long for them to get together, stay together, propose, and finally marry. I would have loved the wedding reception to include a slow dance with Kidd and Boden, as well other as speeches from their friends and family, and maybe throwing a bouquet. It all seemed very fast
I've only seen bits and pieces of this show in passing, and this scene still made me cry.

This is exactly what I was expecting and wanted from the scene the way the captain acted realizing she treated him as a father and you could see the shock and excitement in his eyes
I hope it wasn't the gang that pulled up to the cabin severide and Stella went to.
I've got a gut feeling the cabin is going to be torched, and the newlyweds JUST manage to escape the blaze, and the gang leader is caught by chicago PD, and a crossover coming in the next season.
I hope September hurrys up so I can get watching my favourite shows again (watching reruns until then hehehe).
It definitely will suck if the cabin gets destroyed Kelly had good memories with Benny there.

A co worker asked me to give her away at her wedding. No shame in saying i was in floods of tears. It is such an honour to be asked to do it.
Chief Boden is the IMO the one character that if he left the show I would stop, I love Kelly and Casey but my god that character is so well done Boden is truly the Dad of that house and every department and city official knows it. The respect he commands from people above him to even new candidates that barely know who he is just shows how good of a leader he truly is.
Great people, great actors, great acting, great scenarios, great choice of a city ... Perfect match ! this is so enjoyable :)
