Dead malls: A walk alongside Northwest mall.

Northwest mall was opened in October of 1968 and originally housed a palais royal, Jcpennys, and a foleys. by the 90s, the mall was beginning to lose Tennants, becoming known for its high vacancy rates. in March of 2017, the mall finally shuttered its doors and was abandoned. The police regularly patrolled the mall until they left in 2023, where the mall was regularly broken into and vandilized.

The parking lot is completely barricaded and there’s security always in a car. Wondering how you even got in the parking lot with it being blocked
