The thing I hate is that the new villains where part of the old britannia army but we never seen them in the old anime or movies and some how they came out of nowhere to take control a part of Japan
Could be because the britiannian royal family mostly rulled over major areas with nobles serving under them. With the royal family pretty much gone thanks to schneizel can explain why they weren't key players back then versus now.

Also I feel like the series does not make an effort to make it's villains very appealing. Code geass villains from the original series are very sympathetic, because while their ideology was trash they still had good character traits or good reasons to balance them out. This also made Code Geass interesting in the sense that viewers were questioning at times wether or not they still agree with Lelouchs actions. Rozé of the recapture however never even tries to do so, because so far all of the antagonists are purely evil. The only one I found myself interested in is Narah and I really hope they will focus on her more and not just kill her off suddenly like they did with Arnold or the brothers from ep1.
Neo britannia also has no Naval forces so they should just put Kallen and Suzaku on a sub and let them bring hell to Neo Britannia, you could bring Orange just incase of a geass user,
I feel the only way they could explain why people like Cornelia or Tohdoh is they were dealing other war torn zones. As Lloyd hinted that there are plenty of war torn countries to handle. So they could have been on the front lines of those while Norland did this surprise attack against japan.
@@MyMediaChops yeah :/ but the second attack is technically them sending peace envoys. So kind of makes sense as Cornelia steps in as a general not as a peace maker. Be someone else, which I guess died as part of the envoy.

honestly i would love a code geass series focused on C.C. and L.L. only. Can be soemthing like secert wars, etc. The thing is they would need to actually explain geass and all that which makes sense with the lore.
In the last chapter in Nightmare Of Nunnaly C2 Epilogue was talking about how peace was temporary but rebelions and violence shows its ugly face again.

I always loved the previews of the original Code Geass series' next episodes, and it would be interesting to hear Rozé, Ash, Sakuya or even the likes of Catherine or Natalia narrating what will happen next.
The submarine is a plot hole also could have used the rocket launch system form the European forces to get over or on top of the force field. We've yet to get an accurate description of the the force field and what powers it. Nina Einstein is the new Oppenheimer: Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds So seeing her making it her lives goal to rid the world of FLEIA is not far off. Lelouch could of easily told CC: The world always needs an enemy, an antithesis to work for a common goal, it pains me seeing the homeland I grew up in and worked so hard to liberate become the focal point of this new malice but my time as a human has ended. That chapter is for humanity to write for themselves. We are not meant to correct the world in our image with the power of geass because it corrupts.

It's possible there are some differences between the theater release and the streaming version of the OP, since we're not getting the actual theatrical previews either (different from the PVs posted online). 2. The UFN is roughly comparable to the UN, in a way, it doesn't mean the member countries are no longer existing in terms of their own affairs and self-rule. 3. Getting one submarine through is very different from sending the large amount of forces you'd need to take down the whole barrier and actually retake the island. If you send four submarines, for example, it'd be much easier to detect and sink them. It's taking a larger risk. 4. The Black Knights know that Neo Britannia has Damocles and FLEIJA, so that would be an additional deterrent against a straightforward invasion. 5. I don't think it's remotely an obligation to see what Kuroto was doing during the original anime. It's not like we saw every single member of the JLF or even every single member of the Black Knights (especially once they grew in size at the end of S1).
Here are the problems with point 2. Neo Britannia illegally came into existence so no nation outside of the UFN wouldn't or shouldn't acknowledge their existence. Especially since it is Britannia a nation that previously ruled the world under fear of the FLEIJAs. And this nation is also using the Damocles and FLEIJAs. The UFN leaders are working with the BK to stop Neo Britannia so clearly they don't acknowledge Neo Britannia's existence. It doesn't matter if the nations are self rule because the leaders are trying to stop Neo Britannia. The political elements in this story make no sense. For point 3 you are ignoring the bigger issue. The Situmpe wall doesn't work on Sakuradite underwater. So you can use KMFs like the Maharoba to take out the walls or charges like what we saw in Turn 7 (Lelouch did a lot of damage with just one submarine). If you transported Suakuza, Cornelia, Tohdoh, Gino, Anya, Jerry, Guilford, and so forth in one sub with their advance KMFs float units or not, that would be enough to take out the walls. You could also transport a small team of BKs to sabotage the barrier. The towers don't seem that well defended since the resistance groups have bases near them. If they were the forces could infiltrate Neo Britannia to accomplish this. This development opens the door to so many things that were never explored. Point 4 doesn't matter since Nina has an improved counter measure for the FLEIJAs and an elite team of KMF pilots could take out the Damocles before a single FLEIJA is fired. Heck they could skip the Damocles and just retake the FLEIJAs. I would be someone in agreement with point 5 except that it ignores the desperation of the JLF during the og anime. Katase would have definitely requested Kuroto's help during this. I know he protected Jugo and Sherry but that doesn't really justify anything. At the very least Tohdoh or Katase should have mentioned someone like Kuroto and best he should have assisted the BKs. Neither occured, no offense but this sounds like copium to me. You can't introduce characters like this out of the blue who could have significantly altered the previous story without creating plot holes.
For L.L. to come save the day it would probably require something revolving around Geass itself. While Lelouch will always be the one true Zero, after the Zero Requiem he isn’t going to get involved with the problems of the people. But now he’s L.L. the new Master of Geass along with C.C. so if the main antagonist ends up poking his nose into where it doesn’t belong, L.L. may make a scene and absolutely ruin their day. While the situation with Neo Britannia is frustrating, it’s not worthy of calling Lelouch back in. It’s tragic but ultimately nothing compared to the state of the world back before Lelouch began his rebellion. It’s just Japan and not even the whole country like before, just Hokkaido. The Zero Requiem can’t be compromised by the world finding out Lelouch is alive, it would cause to much trouble. Time has passed and people look older but just slightly. I don’t think L.L. can’t use the excuse of “just looking like the Demon Emperor, that he wouldn’t still look the same after all this time” yet. Besides L.L. wants the Black Knights and UFN to be capable of solving problems on their own. That was his intention even before he was realized he was immortal. He thought he would die in the Zero Requiem after all.
I enjoyed this episode more but not because the writing necessarily. I still don’t like the overall concept of this show cause it just exists to make more content than to tell a story, but anytime they do anything not about the war I enjoy it more. I love Sakuya right now and am growing to like her character
Schneizel did plan to make multiple of them once the original appeared to be taken so I imagine some infrastructure to create it again were lying around.

Because this isn't their show, hence they are not here. And Suzaku is now Zero 24/7 guarding Nunnaly in other parts of the world
