@@whycantwebefriendzzI mean, unless you find it a compliment being compared to flume. I mean flume is an incredible and unique producer. I could see the beginning as having a flume resemblance (plucks, ambience, and tense harmony) but other then that I think it’s unique.
My man, not to put you down when you're just being positive and kind, but you should avoid starting a sentence with "as a producer...". It's 2023 bro, people can use full DAWs on their phone. Everyone is a producer
I really like what you've done with the contrast of the acoustic drums vs the distorted, ethereal synths. You mentioned it already but some more low end to the percussion would be great, and maybe use reverb, eq and compression to place them better in the "space" with the instruments

@@T3SS3R4ACT Think the lo in lo-fi is a bit lower than it is in this, a bit more jazzy, too, but I may be wrong on what actually makes lo-fi what it is (lil' distorted perception, maybe). In my opinion, this sounds like a more organic future bass at a slower tempo and with some microtonal sauce in the middle. Might sound like lo-fi because of the microtonal movement often used in that genre and it's analogue tones. Not an expert, just just being a lil' nerd using all I've gathered from the internet along the years.
The drop at 0:16 sold me on the fact this doesn’t sound like Flume. Idk what do call the da-da part before the first few drops that’s just the piano, but THAT could pass as Harley’s stuff
I mean, it's pretty cool, I think the tones there makes it unique. Perhaps making it more dynamic or doing something with the eq would be cool. Might be headroom the thing it's missing.. Skrillex seems to have tons of it in his new albums, which, in my opinion, gives the sounds and the song itself some more life. I like the distortion tho.
Hahaha not the biggest flume head but I like what you did. Something sustaining through it in like an up and down hill would comp the heartbeat. Also the beep towards the end kicked ass.
For your drum pattern 18. What sounds did you combine on the 4th bar. Its an open high hat and what?? I've been trying to figure out this technique for awhile but have been struggling.

@@Omlet221 who wouldn't take getting compared to flume as an compliment 💀
that is the most fire line ive ever read...
Sounds like a version if vaporwave almost
synthesis granular with indie rock drums, there really should be more of this
Finally, someone who likes the acoustic drum choice!!
@@whycantwebefriendzz with that choice i think it would be super cool to have vocals over u track!
I'm a producer myself and let me tell you; make a full version of this song and give it your all, you have a banger on your hands brother.

Got a touch of porter Robinson with the chords. Great job!! I love the vibe!
Thanks my man! Appreciate it
Sounds more like Porter Robinson on Worlds.
This is seriously beautiful. Great Job!
Thanks man. It means a lot.
IDK WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE BUT IF THERE WERE A FULL THING DONE I WOULD PROBABLY LIOSTEN TO IT
That distortion sealed it. I love this
Dude its so beautiful the drums are absolutely sick
This sounds sick bro!
Thanks my man! :)
THE PANNING??? this is WONDERFUL i adore it
thanks mr possum i adore you

I dont know how nobody here mentioned synthwave, this sounds just like a hotel pools or a.l.i.s.o.n track
Yeah I’m their love child
0:44 that switch up is so NASTY incredible stuff man
i love huge distorted chords + acoustic drums. reminds me of an old song by jaron
it would be a great fit for a coming of age movie
Please please please release this. Such a refreshing sound!
holy, did not expect that, sounds so sick man, I would make the drums less acoustic but still absolutely sick 🔥
bro im telling you this is amazing, you should make a full version, and release it

Yeah I’m His Dad
Crad
Great atmosphere. I absolutely love the development of beat, especially from 0:47 till the end
oh my fucking god this is majestic, masterful, beautiful
Don’t even know what this genre is but this was amazing
Future Bass
@@twighailey1967 how is this is any possible way future bass?
@@twighailey1967 I think this is closer to lofi than future bass.

…ryan…please don’t hurt me ryan 😢
This is dope, homie! Chords are beautifully constructed! Definitely has such an uplifting feel to it! I love when you break it down to half time!
a youtube flp that is actually unique, mixed well, produced well, good sound selection, great overall
is it just me or is this legitimately the best thing i've heard in a while.
I don't buy the flume comparision but i'm vibing with this dreamy pop sound
that second half is insane
Make a full song. Idgaf what chu have to do. This is too fucking good to just be a lil snippet fr.
kind of reminds me of Sta, love it
WHAT A BANGERR
Sounds more akin to Former Hero or Jaron, but still amazing!
I like this genre of beats
too good
i mean flume as a genre is a pretty wide spectrum
WE NEED A SPOTIFY VERSION
I WILL NEVER FINISH IT
Have you already released this ?
What the name of the track?
Goosebumps… 🔝💯
thats one scrumptious open hat
ngl this would go crazy as a calm trap beat tho
sounds amazing actually
This sounds lot closer to Porter then Flume to me but damn it's really really good
Ohhhh I can imagine the jersey club bounce on this too. Shi would go brazy as a switch up 🔥
Oh my gosh bro huge respect from one producer to another
Love the synth
that kick is THICC
I like the drops. It hits hard
oh woah. dude nah this HITS! push this shit moreeeee
This is heat, and so is the fact that the UA-cam algorithm put it on my home page
Holy shit! Maaan, this is incredible. I love it!! Amazing job!
This sounds closer to some of HOME or Hotel Pool's tracks than Flume.
This shit is fucking fire man keep it up, I could listen to it the whole day 🔥🔥
How did this get to my main page move than half a year later?! Amazing tune bro, really smooth
Just change the drums to be less acoustic and you got a 10/10
idk i think the drumbs are like this song is not about a girl ft chet faker
Yeah word he needs a high passed kick and a tight snare or clap then this is fire
Theres nothing bad about the acoustic drums they are great. But in my opinion if he will make the first drumline 2 times slower it will be better
@@asafmalolthe acoustic drums sound out of place with the rest of the song
@@asafmalolthe acoustic drums sound out of place with the rest of the song
its like 2012 fllume with the drums and beat
damn dude it's actually so clean. I love the vibe, the structure and the variations !! The energy of the end😮
This is so incredibly clean it's insane
I'm glad i did not regret not clicking this video on my recommendation page
i've never listened to a flume song, can confirm that i don't know
Sick vibe man, gives me last day on earth vibes🔥🔥btw how did you make the playlist follow the marker?
There's a button in the top bar that's just an arrow pointing to the right (as of FL 20), that's it that's all!
Flucking awesome
THIS IS GORGEOUS
Sounds like freedom
This song somehow made me cry and I'm not even lying wtf this is beautiful
The drop at 0:16 sold me on the fact this doesn’t sound like Flume. Idk what do call the da-da part before the first few drops that’s just the piano, but THAT could pass as Harley’s stuff
idk who Harley is but I am his son
Feels like the sun is exploding while there is a sunset.
M38 style vocals would go great with it. I like the vibe. Keep it up
release it ❤ and i will Listen to this in my workout sessions and deadlift
this sound like the oldest flume.
his oldest songs are on UA-cam. compare your one, its similar to them. the chords are really flumey though
i think i would hear this while playing. like a 10 minutes thing lol, Remember this, this video would be over 100k views, im not crazy
Absolute BANGER 🔥🔥🔥
has some san holo vibes for me! dig that a lot
this could SO easily turn into one of those viral edit audio things
sick track man :)
more like former hero but still sick, I would recommend changing the drums to more punchy ones tho
This goes so crazy
beautiful
this kinda reminds me of the vince staples song: are you with that?
all thats different is the drums.
just sounds like edm vaporwave lol
Legit sounds like "Jaron - Escape"
Man this gave me chills...
this is straight gassssss.... I would change some of the drum sounds if you want it to sound more like flume but either way this is incredible!
Actually this sounds very similar to Former Hero. Check him out for inspiration.
I love it man please can you explain how you did it bc im wanting to be a music producer i even have fl studio pro and am a beginner
reminds me more of san holo. super fire
beautiful. i absolutely love it
Reminds me of jaron a little :3
I think it's too much distortion on the synth after 0:45, but overall it's fire. I would definitely add that to my playlist

the distortion is perfectly fine like that imo. it just needs a little mixing.
Like bro, so good, im amazed af
this is so unbelievably harf
got a future bass vibe for sure, try San Holo (combined with porter robinson) or Jaron maybe and you have a winner
Hahaha not the biggest flume head but I like what you did. Something sustaining through it in like an up and down hill would comp the heartbeat. Also the beep towards the end kicked ass.
pretty good
holy shit wait this is not even just good this is a fucking masterpiece what
