I currently got the seeker 4 pro. I had gotten the seeker 2 and seeker 3 pro. Also the Warrior s3. Prefer the 4 pro with its charging holster. O light makes durable flashlights 🔦. I work overnight , through the years spent hundreds of top of the line flashlights 🔦. Drop them at 3 feet as most say impact 3 feet. Drop. They would stop working. I came across the Olight website a few years ago. I give them as gifts, very durable dependable. THE BEST ON THE MARKET. I’ve bought $200 flashlights that wouldn’t last.. EDC seeeker 4 pro and the O pen GLOW. Best tactical pen 🖊️ I ever bought.
Yeah, I've went through a lot of $40 flashlights. Drop 2 or 3 times and they stop working properly. Also, Lux Pro and Nebo is still using micro USB to charge and the charging ports get finicky after a while. I think I'm really gonna be happy with the Seeker 4 Pro. I just bought one like new from a friend, for $40.
This is an excellent side-by-side review... I love seeing OLight offer USB-C. On an unrelated note, what are the details on that flannel? Great pattern!
I think Olight will go down this avenue new they're using USB C. It's easier for them to do now, plus with a lot more companies doing it they'll follow the trend. It makes perfect sense with the EDC community
I know im 6 months late, so hopefully you see this, but does the seeker 4 fit in the Seeker 4 Pro Holster? I know it wont charge, but i like the idea of the holster even if it wont charge it. Thanks!
You did make one small mistake on the controls. On the Seeker 4 Pro. You don't have to spin the dial before turning it on. You can long press the button and it will unlock it.
Everyday is a school day. I was today years old when I found that out. Makes perfect sense to have the moonlight mode still accessible through the usual means. Thanks for the heads up Michael 👍
If you happen to have both of them, have you tried putting the tail cap from one on the other? Obviously you have both of them but I’m saying if anybody happens to have both of them can you swap them out so that the new one can work and charge with the holster? They look like they have a similar tail cap. I’m just wondering maybe if you really want to charge and carry the other one like the pro you might be able to do that. I haven’t heard anything about that but if they both have compatible tail caps and you really want to do that you can.
Oh your crazy mad scientist 😂 I tried and no. They must have thought about it. The tail caps fit however they don't function. Lights don't turn on (or off). That would have been an epic hack if it worked though 🤙
@@MoorlanderEDC I just asked the same question on another channel!.. it makes me sad a little bit because I would have loved to have been able to charge my other seekers with the switch of a tail cap! I suppose swapping batteries will have to suffice.
It seems there may be one difference that every comparison misses. The Technical Details on the Olight web site for both the Seeker 4 Pro and Seeker 3 Pro, under ‘Compatible Batteries’, say ‘Customized 3.6V 5000mAh 21700 Lithium-ion Battery’ while the standard Seeker 4 (on the same web site) says ‘Rechargeable 21700 5000mAh / 3.6V Li-ion Battery’. NOte that it does not say ‘Customized’. I assume the custom batteries are necessary because the Pro versions use the magnetic MCC charging cable. If the Seeker 4 doesn’t need a custom 21700 because it doesn’t use the MCC charging cable, this is an important difference. Being able to use standard 21700 batteries in the Seeker 4 would be a huge plus. Can someone verify any of this? I would love to know.
You can get the batteries directly from Olight here in the UK - www.olightstore.uk/s/4YIKIP They're roughly the same price as other batteries for similar models
Great breakdown of these lights. A good friend is sending me a Seeker 4. Looking forward to checking it out up close.
Oh nice. That's definitely a good friend
Excellent review mate and exactly what I was looking for. Top stuff 👍🏻👍🏻

Glad it was helpful! The flannel is one of the Greyman flannels from Helikon Tex. It's a lovely shirt 👍
I've got both, and to me the S4 is a much warmer tint than the S4P. I wouldn't even call S4 cool white.
I got the seeker pro 4 n ordered the warrior
I wish the usb c worked as a low amp power bank, it’s a handy feature on my Swivel! Battery is probably too small I guess 😔

Not too late at all. Yes it'll fit. They're pretty much like for like in size 🤙

@@MoorlanderEDC No problem! It is something they started doing with this light specifically. The Seeker 3 Pro did not have that option.
I just don't know why they call it a Seeker when it is a thrower. Would be interesting to see it vs Warrior 3s.
I'll keep that in mind for some future content 🤙

Seeker 4 vs warrior x4 ?

Everyone watching this just having a seizure. That’s a lot of turbo light. It should have a warning just saying.
Hmmmm... didn't think about that
