- Due to popular requests, I have made a video with simple and easy tips on how to crochet my teeny tiny cardigans plus a crochet along to make my teeny tiny cardigan body.
History is about Omphalos stones found in Ireland and Turkey with links both to crochet and the Royal family in ways that have never been explained before.
Thank you to all my viewers and subscribers, I really appreciate all your support. Thank you for all your comments, I have been trying to read them all and hopefully this videos will provide valuable information for those who have shown interest in my cardigans and my history research.
I am also saying a special thank you to my family who have listened and supported both my crochet and my history research.
I found your video fascinating. Thank you. And i love the tiny jackets.

I know that this is an older video and I'm not sure if you still make them...however I wanted to say that I truly enjoyed it. I have crocheted for years yet I was struggling ro come up with a pattern for the perfect tiny sweater for a friend. I happened across this video and I am so pleased. I loved that you shared different things and talked as we crocheted. It felt as if we were a couple of friends having a chat and crochet. It was quite lovely and I love the cardigan so much that I plan to make a few. Should anyone need to make tiny things I will certainly refer them to your channel. Thank you so much for a lovely video. It was so relaxing. Happy crocheting. 🩷🤍🩷🤍
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, I really appreciate you watching my older videos. Yes I do still make the older things 😊 I think they're still as lovely as the day I designed them. Happy crocheting to you too 🌼🌸🏵️❤️
Wonderful tutorial...Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for this! I’m going to be making these with matching hats to donate to the hospital where my son was (still)born. I think I’m going to make them longer though so it’s more of a full body gown. This is exactly the tutorial I’ve been looking for! I just want you to know that 5 years later, your video is still helping bereaved parents 💕
Thank you, you just helped my ADHD brain. Now I just need it for size 10 and a 1.75 hook lol
Currently sitting in County Limerick and listening with great interest to the tale of Julie's Caesar and his foray into Hibernia!

My husband was a history teacher
lovely tutorial! Makes total sense...teach a man to fish and all that. thank you x
Thank you very much for your patient explanations as you crochet! You take all the guess work out of your patterns & I really appreciate that! The Tiny Baby Cardigan is ssooo cute! I plan to crochet quite a few to go with the hats/caps I am crocheting for tiny babies at our local hospitals. Also, thank you for sharing such interesting history! I always wondered about the circles that some call "Crop Circles." Now I know they come from a mushroom! I didn't quite understand all about the rocks. I guess I was having a brain freeze at the time. I really enjoy watching your videos! They are very helpful to me! I love your British accent! May God richly bless you!
Your so fascinating Karen! I came across your site because I was looking for an American doll pattern for a sweater. I took a chance and used a larger hook and began a journey with you and your history lesson! How pleasant and funny and sweet you are thank you 😊 . I would love to see if you would do doll sweaters etc.
thank you. the whole video is wonderful.
How absolutely delightful. A combination of two of my favourite pass times, crochet and history. Very unusual combo for some.
Dear Karen, lovely design!! I am crocheting my third one, thank you for sharing your knowledge and nice stories!! My Regards from Costa Rica

Thank so much. So helpful when trying to make the right size for a wee ones' doll. I made 3 before adapting your pattern and using your instructions of drawing out how big i need it. I finally got the right size and began with 43 chains.. its so cute. Youre a great teacher. Very interesting History.. and YES! I always wondered what manna was.. amazing about the mushrooms.. they probably carried some smoke too aha. Looking gorward to go check out the baking now 😉👍
Oh my lord thank you so much it's late here but I cnt wait to make these cardigans tomrow xxx
Great tutorial, this is my first ever project, I hope I can finish it though, there was no details on how to add sleeves or use the strands to tie it at the front?? X
Such a beautiful little cardigan! Could you please show us how to crochet the sleeves?
i love your small cardigan, been looking for some small vest for my small teddy bear Amigurumi , thxs
Hello Karen, so glad you are still doing your crochet tutorials 😁 i thought you may have stopped making them. i have recently been making my niece for Easter a Dress me bunny, along with dresses & overalls, i am going to do this cardigan also, so thank you for making this. Erica x
Karen I love how you make those little sweaters I did not know how too get the sleeves in thanks to you I have it now you are very good at explaining, thanks again
I love your videos Karen and your history lessons. I am so glad you use acrylic yarn and bamboo instead of wool. I don't know what the wool industry is like in the UK but I would imagine it is the same as Australia and it is a dreadfully cruel industry indeed. I will not purchase wool products after seeing despicable footage of the way sheep are treated and abused. I am looking forward to your cake video. Take care
Kind regards
i use crochet cotton and I refuse to support the wool industry because of the cruelty these poor animals are forced to endure. If i use mohair i only buy locally from people who love and care about all their animals.
beautiful.... greetings from Mexico!
Excellent video ~ Thank you ~ New subscriber 🧡💛💚💙💜🤎♥

It's interesting that you should mention manna because it also took my interest and I did some research, it seems the Israelites lived on the manna for the 40 years they were in the wilderness and it was provided by God everyday and it's described as a “white like coriander seed” and had the “look” of bdellium gum, a waxlike and transparent substance having a form that resembles a pearl. Its taste was comparable to “that of flat cakes with honey” or “an oiled sweet cake.” After being ground in a hand mill or pounded in a mortar, manna was boiled or made into cakes and baked. Very interesting.
I really want to make the little white cardigan I'll have to work on it because I don't want it to flare out also what stitches did you use sorry if you've already said.
Where can I see how to do sleeves for this.
This video so long ago. But I need to know if this fits the wellywisher 14” doll by American Doll?? These are nice design.
I love this little cardigan but can not figure out how to do the sleeves.
Dear ad

I have been trying to crochet a small jacket to fit a fairy doll made out of pipe cleaners, Can you help or suggest a pattern please i tried a pattern of my own by reducig but having difficulty. been using single crochet or is it called double crotchet I forget. I am from the uk and base here and because of the differences with usa and uk I always find patterns come out the same. Anyway. Trying to eventualy turn the mini coats I am trying to create into PT. Barnum Coats / Jackets for performing in the musical Barnum and like to give gifts. Please any help will be greatly recieved. Cant attach picture of a pipe cleaner doll.
I found this frustrating because it wasn't clear if i was doing back stitch only or both loops!??? i will rewind again! Maybe it's only both stitches on the back of the cardigan. Urgh
How do you make the sleeves long?
My name is Pam Witkowski
Do you have any patterns in crochet for 18" american dolls and 14"

I'm looking for a 10" new born dress for my great niece. TY
New born 10" doll patterns
Legenda em português, plis🙏🧶
Too confusing. There must be an easier wayy
Its a great tutorial, but your random conversation is really distracting. The worst thing is someone talking on and on when you’re trying to concentrate and learn.
Just turn the volume down if you don't want to hear it. She is very kind to share her pattern with us.
Z
love the technique and explaination.. just didnt like the talks about history. Its quite distracting. Please talk less
Would be good to concentrate on crochet not taking about other stuff you put people off
Less talking
I love listening to this lady talk
I hope you have grown some. This video is amazing
Just the most precious little sweater ever! Perhaps you could do the complete ivory sweater for us so we could see your technique on the sleeves. Thank you for sharing! Love the history you share as well. Blessings! ♥
