She's so beautiful and confident. It's difficult not to respect her.
Yes true , beautiful en excellent lady , she's blessed
This lady is brave. I like her. May she excel in whatever she plans.
This is an extremely intelligent gal.....it takes the glory and grace to have reached this far
Where are the likes for her mother, more than a mother!
What special? People have their kids without legs, arms or conjoined twins! What are you talking about here
my interpretation of the proverb is "Death is certain" means that inevitably we will die and while we know that it will happen it does not mean that we go to the grave and wait for death we keep busy living life etc
Totally agreed, l interpreted that way too
She is eloquent and has a good knowledge about her condition.
This lady is so courageous and bold. She is knowledgeable and brave 🎉🎉
Mercy you are a smart lady your argument and conversation is full of facts, move out of machakos and speak out, we were all born not only to live but to leave a legacy baby girl live long leave legacy, I admire you mrembo you're bold and bright
Courageous, very informed and authentic Mercy. A very enlightening conversation for a COUNSELLING Psychologist.
The strength, courage and bravery with Mercy is exceptional. Live life and conquer it.
She is so articulate..and honest...she will go far as a leader...not shying away.
OMG so glad they didn't do surgery on Mercy. They would have caused her a lot of damage and probably life long pain.
Doctor wamalwa is my uncle...keep going...he made me meet atleast two intersex and made me understand them...kudos
A delicate discussion handled as it deserves by experienced hosts. Well done.
Philosophy has it that a "thing" is or is not. Such information gives me opportunity to make a critical thinking that beautiful soul like mercy have opened the philosophical thought to analyse life. The essence of being is so deep not being a man and woman, but soul and body, self motivation to achieve life dreams.
Such a lovely and vibrant lady full of energy, and thanks to spice fm for giving her the platform to educate us about these rare occurrences
Mercy is courageous person, the spice pannel very professional they didn't hurt Mercy.Well done.
I love the courage this individual has,God bless you
Eric and your team. You handled this subject like the professionals you are. Very enlightening.
This girl is a charmer. Plus I see more order in Kenya than in my country, Nigeria. Big ups Kenya.
This is quite informative and brave while at it. I concur that Intersex should not be bundled together with the other LGBTQ grouping because while the former is a misnoma of genetics, the latter is a matter of choice. What a wonderful soul (and at this young age) removing ignorance from many of us. May God bless you Monica
Wrong, if people can be born without the appropriate genitalia because of dysfunctional genetics (hardware), it follows that the same genetics can interfere with an individual sexuality mentally (software). All living things are afflicted with all manner of deformities but the sexual one is the most sensitive. Education is the only way to end the stigma of the LGBTQ people including the intersex, they're all creation of God, in his image.
You sound confused,seek clarity
She is phenomenal, go girl, you are destined for greatness
I love the way she sticks to her happiness
A lot of advocacy is needed because we might have many people being stigmatised. Mercy keeps soaring higher and higher. Inclusion is key
Self Acceptance keeps her Goin
Great courage mercy be blessed
she is an amazing soul to the core
I love her courage. God has set aside her work for her. Mercy is special. May God bless her.
Wonderful human being. Very clear as well.
You are a bright girl. Fearfully and wonderfully made of the image of God .Go girl
A beautiful person, a peaceful soul,an open heart,a sharp mind,an eloquent tongue..thats mercy.
So brave, focused, articulate. May God give you strength and wisdom for journey ahead.
Latif, the GOAT including the rest of the panelists, your professionalism is top notch in handling this sensitive topic
We need more sensitization on this especially so that Kenyans can be more supportive to intersex people. It must be so challenging to be intersex. Monica is a very talented and smart person!
The reason for LGBTQ was to hide such people but since we think LGBTQ is about men who are marrying each other which is rare, most of them are intersex
Mercy for president!❤
Great host
I'm so touched and I learnt a lot. Mercy. Your brave and may God keep you shinning in your life.
She really handled her situation so brave. Beautiful and smart. May God continue to give her strength.🙏
Keep it up Mercy.
This is very informative.
My gal,,she is so strong,,brave,, courageous
I just love her
An awesome lady indeed
She rocks !!!❤
Very strong character, people should lean to except and accommodate intersex it’s a natural phenomena
Best interview i have listened to recently. Well articulated, great questions and a brilliant young person who understands what she wants and genuinely wants to help others in a similar situation. Proud of you Monicah and hands down lots of respect for your mother who has brought up a confident young woman ready to take on the world
Hi Mercy. You are our Kenyan child and a child of the universe. Live your life free, happy and healthy. Good and mature interview Spice👍🏾
This lady is going places. You are brave and bold. May God bless you.
Mercy, you are brave, beautiful, and confident. Proud of you. Keeping walking.
i like how she approached her situation. but if you listen carefully the love from home was sufficient so parents take note have your kids back even if you don't know what they are going through.
I love this gal she is a leader,,,,,you educate us.
This is a very hot topic to talk about and we appreciate the fact that miss Mercy was able to come out to the show and discuss it. It takes a special individual to be able to accept things and communicate to people in a rather very taboo topic in our society.Thank you for highlighting this information and I appreciate the spice FM crew for doing this. All the relevant questions were asked.in my opinion.
Lgbtq is a sexual orientation while intersex is gender orientation.
ION: Mercy has a radio voice.
Your courage will help many others be confident and overcome the stigma. Big Up Mercy!
Amazing Mercy
That youngster has done well on this interview excellent one of the best interviews at spice FM - great awareness of the condition as an intersex person kudos 👏🏿

One of the best interviews for Spice!! A great scoop from a very eloquent Community Leader. Well done
Mercy you are amazing, and I'm wishing you all the best in the coming years. You have articulated intersex so simply. Bless your heart❤
this conversation was handled gracefully
Such a wonderful conversation. Thank you!
Beautiful conversation ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for shedding light on a very sensitive topic.
My hats off to you God bless and keep you continue to hold your head high.
She looks beautiful at the same time looks handsome.
God's special creature ❤️
I don't see the handsomeness. She's fully feminine and beautiful
Mercy is a female with a large clit. I don't understand where the intersex is coming from. Sarah Baartman had the same features too. There is also a Kenyan lady with no vagina and identifies as a lady. Mercy's case has something to do with foetal development and hormones
Very courageous person
Bold conversation.
The situation room asking all the questions that i would be afraid to ask myself
Such an amazing soul. God bless you always.
She So brilliant 👏
I just like the courage and confidence that you have.go and go to higher levels monica.
Sin has marred God's creation and I'm happy you had the power to be you. You accept who you are and you strive to be prospective. I pray you get to form a personal relationship with God and prepare to meet our coming Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Blessings to you madam. I salute you
It takes God, she decided to fit in her skin

public speaking 100%
Confidence 100%
Am Denis watching from Uganda, thanks for sharing the Experience MM.❤❤❤
Diverse,❤❤❤ they should be recognized coz it's not by choice, and they can't change anything
This case shows how those that are quick to judge from physical appearance are wrong, especially the religious ones. God created her as she is. It is great to see someone courageous enough to talk frankly about it. There have been cases where intersex individuals are forcefully undressed by the public as well as teachers. There needs to be sensitivity and compassion about this condition. Public education is important for such cases as well as mental illness
Thanks for hosting Mercy, learnt a lot about intersex people. Also, what a courageous soul, wishing her all the best in the elections.
Thank you for this great conversation. Kudos to Monica for her strength of character.
There should be a part two of this conversation. Looking at her, I can not see any physical difference. She looks and feels a lady. T
There are others who develop physically as a female, but their sex organ developed as a penis-like. This is a dilemma. I saw a documentary done by the BBC where the physicians decided to make an intersex a male from infancy and at puberty they learnt they made they wrong decision because she started developing as a female. Another instance, a lady that was born an intersex, developed as a woman but can use her clitoris as a pennis while still having a vagina.
We should learn to accept people for who they are and not be too critical.
There are too many mysteries in the world. Just love and treat everyone like you would like to be treated. I know it's not that easy, but it's a good place to start and build upon.
Thank you!
Back while I was in high school,we hard a lady who was intersexual.she never bathed with the rest of us.She suffered a lot of stigma and ultimate dropped out of school.
Her parents shouldn't have taken her to a boarding school
19:37 Monicah Mercy
👏👏
Are these people in Kenya
for those asking how she pees, the reproductive system id different from the excretory system.
This lady is such a star !
An alumni to Machakos here....from Beijing
Sorry, Mercy.
Very bold.
Such pretty eyes.
In some African cultures, they used to throw such kids in the river. Religions continue to sideline the people. Thanks we have progressed as a people to accept people for who they are.
