If people learned more about cats needs, then most of the "not interested in interacting with humans" or "badly behaved" cats would actually be very differently behaved. Cats love to cuddle with people and can learn commands etc if people just wouldn't basically teach their cats to be aloof, maybe even angry, hermits. They need interaction, lots of playing, nice watching spots higher up in the walls and near windows and so on. There can be few individual cats that are awful nomatter what but that can't be avoided. But most people complaining about their cat's behaviour go on to tell, how they even bought a knee high scratching tree and another toy mice and now they don't understand why nothing changed.

Cats are generally chill if you respect their boundaries. The caveat being that you have to learn how to read them to figure out what those boundaries are but once you figure out cat body language you’re golden!
Basically just don't touch a cat you don't KNOW wants to be touched.
Cats demand respect. If EVERY cat you've met is an "asshole" you're the problem.
I mean they’re just different from dogs so you have to figure it out. For example: with dogs wagging tail usually=happy. With cats it’s usually overstimulated and therefore stop what you’re doing and give them some space.

My cat was a sweetheart. His only bad thing was his breath and he never stopped purring. He never scratched or bit ever.

5:30 You wouldn’t run up to a complete stranger and start hugging them. With cats, you have to treat them like humans. You have to introduce yourself to cats, let THEM sniff you. If they are interested, they will rub themselves on your hand. If they walk away or hiss, dont pet them. It’s Cat 101.

When I was in college we actually had wild turkeys that would roam around one area of campus. However, we also had bears. What was funny was the administration had to send out messages to all students to remind them to not approach or feed the bears. 1. College students barely have money for food, so we're not going to throw away the little we have to something that would pick eating us over the ramen noodles we found, 2. the warning to not approach the bears really seemed geared towards a very specific group on campus that came way before TikTok, so we all knew who they were. And 4. The turkeys always seemed to disappear around a certain time. We think the bears were choosing them over the starving and drunk college students
