My mind is blown. This is the best sermon I've heard and I think it's because you just simply read the Bible and interpreted it exactly how it's intended, which !shockingly! is unlike I've ever heard. I've been led by the Baptist and Nazarene churches to believe that everything Jesus is saying in Matthew is about end times and that God's chosen people include non-messiahnic Jews. I've never learned so much in such a shirt time. I am so thankful for this message and it comes at a dire time for me. I will be spreading this video to everyone I know. I am so thankful! Hallelujah! I call myself a complete Jew. I am Jewish because my entire family tree is Jewish but I am a believer. Jesus saved my sinful, filthy life and gave me a new life in Christ. I'm a new Christian. I didn't even know dispensational premil was a thing till I had some serious problems with the unequivicall support for Israel. I didn't understand it. Then I found out that they really beleive the Nation State of Israel is still awaiting some sort of promise. Not that there was a new covenant with Jesus. So I've found it from the other side.
I was raised dispensational premillennialist. As an adult I see now the errors in that interpretation. Thank you so much for this exegesis. I makes so much sense. And it makes it so much easier to interpret the Bible when you take it at face value in context instead of doing hermeneutical gymnastics. My mom would be so upset and disappointed that I listened to and praised this episode. But oh well. Thank you for your faithfulness to Scripture.
Pastor Jeff, I am 27 minutes in and deeply moved by your description of struggling to understand Islam and our proper relationship to it as Christian believers. As a Christian who has had family that lived in the Middle East, I encourage you to reach out to believers in your community with travel or work experience in the region. We have a pastor at your church who is a pure bread Israeli, who was a tank commander and saw combat and he is an elder and pastor in our church because of his love and devotion for our The LORD Jesus Christ. I’m zealous for the people of israel because of this injustice that has fallen upon them and was one who said “they are the chosen people of God”, thank you for biblically clearing that up. Crazy how everything happening today (technological advancements, digital currency, geopolitical alignments, etc.) is pointing toward prophetic fulfillment and never away from it. Christ is not currently reigning on the earth from the Davidic throne (which will be in Jerusalem, not heaven) as promised in Luke 1, Isaiah 2, Zechariah 12, 14, and Revelation 20.

(Col. 2:14-15) Are you saying that Christ did not ascend & sit down on His Father's throne with His work accepted & complete? If Christ is not presently reigning on the earth from the Davidic throne as you say, then who is?

I’m a dispensationalist but I can’t say for certain this is an “end time” event because these sort of things have happened in the past, many dispensationalist get ahead of themselves and will immediately claim that it’s an end time prophecy when you won’t even know for certain until the prophecy is fulfilled. Many dispensationalist will always mention the earthquakes, famine ect as evident that we are in the “last days” while these things have always taken place throughout history, if your a dispensationalist reading this text, don’t get too ahead of yourself because you could be wrong, it’s exciting to think about our Lord returning but we don’t know the day or the hour when his return is, don’t use these sort of “prophecies” as a way to try to reach the lost because it will only damage a persons outlook on Christianity, real evangelism is preaching and sharing the Gospel, not trying to use current situations as a way to preach and teach “the end is near so get right with God” when you yourself doesn’t actually even fully know if this is true prophecy, end time prophecies are for the believers, not the unbelievers. I too have also always said that God’s chosen people are those who God chooses to save, as a dispensationalist it’s always been annoying to me how other dispensationalist always put Israel an the Jews on this pedestal and almost seems like they are to be treated better then any other type of individual, even Christian’s, the Bible is clear that God doesn’t show any partiality.
After reading Kenneth Gentry books, listening to apologia radio and re-reading the New Testament with this knowledge, it is now beyond me how anyone can see it another way. I went in looking at the Bible like a crystal ball, but now it’s vividly clear, the post-millennial view is correct.
I think most believers stand with Israel because of the Plans God still has for Israel. God is not done with Israel, and Jesus will come back and reign from Jerusalem. God wants Israel to turn to Him, and they will. We shouldn't support their actions especially if it's evil, but we can stand with the Israel that God will reveal His full glory from in due time
God divorced Israel. To remarry Israel would be an abomination. Believers are “Israel” the old covenant is done Christ and His redemption is the new covenant. If there was one last prophecy of the OT to be fulfilled it would be regathering the people back into the land.

To anybody who reads the Bible for themselves- and doesn’t rely on televangelists telling them what it means - it’s obvious that mystery Babylon the Great is Jerusalem . So yeah this might be biblical but not in the way so many evangelicals expect. I just hope their faith survives and doesn’t become the great falling away when all their “prophesies” fail.
One has to wonder if 30 years ago we had addressed the muslim 'problem' with missionaries instead of special forces. How different would the world be today. The verse that is almost always overlooked in prophecy is Matthew 24:14 - 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. The end comes when we reach the world with the gospel. Our military exploits over the last many decades have perhaps not advanced that goal.
I really have tried to listen to your argument. I wanted to hear it with an open mind but I cannot listen to any more. You should read the whole Bible, in context, and Romans 11, which, apart from anything else exhorts us gentiles ‘not to boast against the natural branches.’ Paul was a ‘natural branch’ and wished he could be accursed for the sake of his (natural) brethren. He also knew, however, that the blindness of the natural branches was ‘in part.’ God promised all throughout the OT that He will bring His people, Israel, back to Himself. I can’t quote all the prophesies here. If you knew the Word and the God of the Word, you would know them. Paul warns us to ‘be not high minded, but fear.’ Where is the humility, the compassion, the wonder that WE should have been grafted in to the natural olive tree whilst they, as yet largely, remain cut off? Don’t you know we are debtors to Israel, the ones you’re saying are not? Please. Paul was a mass ‘Church’ persecutor and murderer. Read the promises of God to bring them back and give them that new heart and to cleanse them from all their idolatry, etc. ‘Oh Jerusalem! Jerusalem! You shall not see Me again until you say, ‘Baruch haba b’shem, Adonai!’ Come, Lord Jesus! Come and save Your heritage! Forgive us all!

I struggle with the evil of Islam. I am a very peaceful person, and I have patience and longsuffering for those who are lost, I am a Christian and I try so hard to behave as much as possible in all aspects to glorify Christ. Having said that, I struggle with the absolute rage I feel in the depths of my soul when I see the demonic acts of brutality committed against innocence. It sets my heart on fire. I have read a lot of the Islamic books and I know a lot of the dirty laundry that permeates their texts and I use it to reach out to Muslims. As far as Judaism, I understand that there are Jews hostile to the gospel especially in Israel, but their beliefs are not explicitly calling for Jews to kill and subjugate Christians and the rest of the world. As for my desire that the Jews be able to rebuild the temple, it's not for my salvation, but it's is, if possible, to quicken the return of Christ. My struggle is not confronting evil headfirst, or even defensively quarantining it (regardless of the futility of how might work in practice). I also recognize that the most victimized population of Islam are Muslims. However, it just feels like there is a violent repression of Christians everywhere around the world but here at home we are under a demonic slumber, but those who are awakened to the clear plans of Satan are restrained to watch the devil slaughter believers all over the world while his communist minions here in the West sing and drum their lies louder to drown out the murder of Christendom. Singing about tolerance, they drag Christians into court to persecute them for following their conscience, and shame, investigate and cancel Christians who object to perverts indoctrinating our children. This world will come to an end and we as Christians are to wait expectantly for Christ's return. That doesn't mean to sell everything we own and wait on the Mt of Olives, but we are to be deciples of Christ and do whatever we can to spread the gospel. I am not accusing you of falling short, but I am wondering what you do with Revalation if you think tribulation has already done.
Great question. You can see the hatred of Christianity getting bolder and bolder and all faiths coming together. Jesus said we will be hated for his name. As the world comes together, we will not be able to join in as Christians, and it will cost you everything.
You can say the same about some Orthodox Jews who believe in the Talmud. They look at gentiles (goyim) as animals.... not human. They say a prayer at the end of Sabbath that talks about God making gentiles slaves for the Jews in the Messianic Age. You misrepresent the premillennial perspective. The nation Israel was chosen by God. God dispersed them from their land in their rebellion. God also returned them to their land, or do you reject that God set kings and rulers in place and removes them? @@mchristr God allows a lot of things to happen that are not necessarily good. Our sinful human free will typically ends up going against what God would prefer. However God is indeed sovereign and can work all things good or bad for the good of those who put their faith in him. The book of Revelation prophecies that the temple will be rebuilt and animal sacrifices will resume shortly before Jesus returns. When the Jews witness the abomination of desolation they will realize that Jesus is Lord. When they say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord Jesus will return.
Insane how the idea and understanding of NUANCE about situations has disappeared from our discourse. Everyone thinks life is like a Marvel movie where there is a clear black and white good guy(s) vs bad guy(s)
Lots of issues of what was said here. The basic premise that the regathered Israel we see today is not the prophesied regathering mentioned throughout scripture, particularly in the Prophets due to present day Israel's spiritual condition. It's so important not to cherry pick scriptures and build a theology around Roms 2 and Rom 9 in a vacuum, but to consider the whole counsel of God's word on any particular topic. In Daniel 9, an angel describes what would happen to the nation of Israel. This folks is that same Israel living in exile after breaking God's covenant. Yet, while in exile due to their unbelief they were still referred to as Israel. Even after breaking God's covenant, God's sought a new covenant (Jer 31:31) with that same Israel and Judah that had previously been cast out of the land of Canaan. That new covenant is the covenant with Jesus. This new covenant in Christ was made with the same nation under Moses, that carried the law. This new covenant was not to a different people. Jesus did *NOT* create a covenant with the world, He came for Israel and Israel only (Matt 15:24). He became the savior of the world by granting grace to the gentiles by including them or _grafting_ them to the nation of Israel which is comprised of natural (Jews) and wild (Gentiles) branches (Rom 11:13-21). Notice that some *natural* branches are _broken off._ Meaning they were previously *ON* the tree. This means the tree had both believing and unbelieving *natural* branches on it, from which God the Father would prune or cut off (John 15:1-2) from time to time due to their unfaithfulness. However, God in His great love for the world ordained a new kind of branch. One that was not born on the tree at all, but native to a wild trees of the world (Gentiles). That they would *by faith* be grafted into this tree, though they were wild branches previously. Now this *faith in God* requirement (Hab 2:4) had always been the requirement to remain on the tree, even for Israel under the law (Rom 9:30-32). But you gentiles, including these that run this UA-cam channel, *beware!* Why? Well, please read Rom 11:18-21. This ingathering of gentiles was for a limited time and during that time Israel would be partially hardened in their unbelief (Rom 11:25). But just as the early disciples understood, this limited extension would end. _After this I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it, that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord_ (Acts 15:17). Jeff's statement (time 50:07) that we should be offended at the notion of rebuilding a new temple in Jerusalem is foolishness at best, heresy at worst. Christ while a Temple of the Holy Spirit taught in the 2nd Temple, even had zeal for it! (John 2:13-17). And He will build the 3rd Temple as well! Just as Christian USA is mostly filled with unbelievers you can't judge the whole nation of modern day Israel with it's popular voices. Were they not the same people who made the golden calf? The same who worshipped Baal? But look to what God did then, is doing now! I say to you! _Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel-all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him._ (1Kings 19:18). There remains even today a remnant of regathered Jews who live in the land of Israel, and yet believe in the Messiah Jesus. In fulfillment of Ezekiel 36 (Please read carefully this entire chapter). God's promise to the land itself, to one day regather them for His own name sake and then after regathering them in unbelief, cleanse them of all sin is literally occurring before your eyes if you have eyes to see it!
Using OT prophecies to come to conclusions for b the v present doesn’t make any sense either. They are completed. New Testament, new covenant. They didn’t cherry 🍒 pick anything they read it in context. If anyone was cherry 🍒 picking, it was thou. And using fulfilled prophecies to boot 👢

I’d love to hear their genuine commentary on this passage-“But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.” Romans 11:17-21 ESV
What branches were borken off? Remember the Tree is Israel. Who was grafted on? No one is saying anything about Ture Israel. They explained that when Israel rejected Jesus they were cut off. So any Jew who rejects Jesus is a broken off branch.
Jeremiah 31:36 “If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.” …we still have ⭐️ the stars in the sky… God isn’t done with Israel yet! He made promises to Israel (a remnant) mine elect.
Israel is defined by God in The New Testament. Yes, God is FAITHFUL to Israel....but Israel is and ALWAYS has been the faithful remnant. Unbelieving Jews and Gentiles have no part in true Israel. True Israel is every believer, regardless of race. There is no distinction between Jew and Gentile now.
Good chat fellas. I often think Joshua 5 in all this regard. When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing before him with his drawn sword in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us, or for our adversaries?” 14 And he said, “No; but I am the commander of the army of the Lord. Now I have come.” We must always be on God's side first. It's horribly sad the jews dont know their messiah. Jesus being the true Israel, it just makes sense. Ben Sharpiro made a comment a few weeks ago stating something like Christians need to be harsher on our enemies. The thing he doesn't understand and a lot of Christian don't understand is that we have no biblical right to harsh to enemies, regardless of how we feel and what they have done to us. The whole backward way of the Cross of Christ is to love our enemies, to do good to those who hurt us. Yes, the Muslims, Atheist, AND the Jews HATE Christian, but our job is to turn the other cheek and offer Jesus. Which is not even remotely close to what I want to offer them! God's calling on them is irrevocable. But does that mean they will for sure fulfill their calling? No. The modern nation of Israel is proof of that. Even in Paul's day, he is saying here that God's plans for Jews were being fulfilled despite the fact that so many were rejecting Jesus. Why? Because Paul redefines what it means to be a Jew - not externally, but internally. So in that sense, the true Jews are always fulfilling their calling when they are in Christ.

I've been a Christian for 9 years. Seeing how Christians are responding to this and how my own pastor has responded has me on a path towards destruction. Very uncertain right now.
When I first saw the footage of the attack at the rave, I noticed something odd. In the background was a giant statue of Buddha, and Jews were dancing around it in the wilderness. My mind didn’t go to Revelation, but to the judgement of Isaiah 10. Christians need to pray for the salvation of Jews more than the peace of Jerusalem. Peace is temporary, but death outside of Christ is eternally worse than any terrorist attack. Edit: I do think it’s a mistake to call these people animals. It devalues the reality of total depravity of Godless, fallen men.

This is the best sermon I've heard and I think it's because you just simply read the Bible and interpreted it exactly how it's intended, which !shockingly! is unlike I've ever heard. I'm a new Christian. I didn't even know dispensational premil was a thing till I had some serious problems with the unequivicall support for Israel. I didn't understand it. Then I found out that they really beleive the Nation State of Israel is still awaiting some sort of promise.
Not that there was a new covenant with Jesus. So I've found it from the other side.
I was raised dispensational premillennialist. As an adult I see now the errors in that interpretation. Thank you so much for this exegesis. I makes so much sense. And it makes it so much easier to interpret the Bible when you take it at face value in context instead of doing hermeneutical gymnastics. My mom would be so upset and disappointed that I listened to and praised this episode. But oh well. Thank you for your faithfulness to Scripture.

They did not skip that. They read it exactly as written. You added the last part. He can grapht them in if they accept Jesus

We have a pastor at your church who is a pure bread Israeli, who was a tank commander and saw combat and he is an elder and pastor in our church because of his love and devotion for our The LORD Jesus Christ. I’m a dispensationalist but I can’t say for certain this is an “end time” event because these sort of things have happened in the past, many dispensationalist get ahead of themselves and will immediately claim that it’s an end time prophecy when you won’t even know for certain until the prophecy is fulfilled. Many dispensationalist will always mention the earthquakes, famine ect as evident that we are in the “last days” while these things have always taken place throughout history, if your a dispensationalist reading this text, don’t get too ahead of yourself because you could be wrong, it’s exciting to think about our Lord returning but we don’t know the day or the hour when his return is, don’t use these sort of “prophecies” as a way to try to reach the lost because it will only damage a persons outlook on Christianity, real evangelism is preaching and sharing the Gospel, not trying to use current situations as a way to preach and teach “the end is near so get right with God” when you yourself doesn’t actually even fully know if this is true prophecy, end time prophecies are for the believers, not the unbelievers. I too have also always said that God’s chosen people are those who God chooses to save, as a dispensationalist it’s always been annoying to me how other dispensationalist always put Israel an the Jews on this pedestal and almost seems like they are to be treated better then any other type of individual, even Christian’s, the Bible is clear that God doesn’t show any partiality.

I think most believers stand with Israel because of the Plans God still has for Israel. God is not done with Israel, and Jesus will come back and reign from Jerusalem. God wants Israel to turn to Him, and they will. We shouldn't support their actions especially if it's evil, but we can stand with the Israel that God will reveal His full glory from in due time
God divorced Israel. To remarry Israel would be an abomination. Believers are “Israel” the old covenant is done Christ and His redemption is the new covenant. If there was one last prophecy of the OT to be fulfilled it would be regathering the people back into the land.

To anybody who reads the Bible for themselves- and doesn’t rely on televangelists telling them what it means - it’s obvious that mystery Babylon the Great is Jerusalem . So yeah this might be biblical but not in the way so many evangelicals expect. I just hope their faith survives and doesn’t become the great falling away when all their “prophesies” fail.
One has to wonder if 30 years ago we had addressed the muslim 'problem' with missionaries instead of special forces. How different would the world be today. The verse that is almost always overlooked in prophecy is Matthew 24:14 - 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. The end comes when we reach the world with the gospel. Our military exploits over the last many decades have perhaps not advanced that goal.
I really have tried to listen to your argument. I wanted to hear it with an open mind but I cannot listen to any more. You should read the whole Bible, in context, and Romans 11, which, apart from anything else exhorts us gentiles ‘not to boast against the natural branches.’ Paul was a ‘natural branch’ and wished he could be accursed for the sake of his (natural) brethren. He also knew, however, that the blindness of the natural branches was ‘in part.’ God promised all throughout the OT that He will bring His people, Israel, back to Himself. I can’t quote all the prophesies here. If you knew the Word and the God of the Word, you would know them. Paul warns us to ‘be not high minded, but fear.’ Where is the humility, the compassion, the wonder that WE should have been grafted in to the natural olive tree whilst they, as yet largely, remain cut off? Don’t you know we are debtors to Israel, the ones you’re saying are not? Please. Paul was a mass ‘Church’ persecutor and murderer. Read the promises of God to bring them back and give them that new heart and to cleanse them from all their idolatry, etc. ‘Oh Jerusalem! Jerusalem! You shall not see Me again until you say, ‘Baruch haba b’shem, Adonai!’ Come, Lord Jesus! Come and save Your heritage! Forgive us all!

I struggle with the evil of Islam. I am a very peaceful person, and I have patience and longsuffering for those who are lost, I am a Christian and I try so hard to behave as much as possible in all aspects to glorify Christ. Having said that, I struggle with the absolute rage I feel in the depths of my soul when I see the demonic acts of brutality committed against innocence. It sets my heart on fire. I have read a lot of the Islamic books and I know a lot of the dirty laundry that permeates their texts and I use it to reach out to Muslims. As far as Judaism, I understand that there are Jews hostile to the gospel especially in Israel, but their beliefs are not explicitly calling for Jews to kill and subjugate Christians and the rest of the world. As for my desire that the Jews be able to rebuild the temple, it's not for my salvation, but it's is, if possible, to quicken the return of Christ.
My struggle is not confronting evil headfirst, or even defensively quarantining it (regardless of the futility of how might work in practice). I also recognize that the most victimized population of Islam are Muslims. However, it just feels like there is a violent repression of Christians everywhere around the world but here at home we are under a demonic slumber, but those who are awakened to the clear plans of Satan are restrained to watch the devil slaughter believers all over the world while his communist minions here in the West sing and drum their lies louder to drown out the murder of Christendom. Singing about tolerance, they drag Christians into court to persecute them for following their conscience, and shame, investigate and cancel Christians who object to perverts indoctrinating our children.
This world will come to an end and we as Christians are to wait expectantly for Christ's return. That doesn't mean to sell everything we own and wait on the Mt of Olives, but we are to be deciples of Christ and do whatever we can to spread the gospel. I am not accusing you of falling short, but I am wondering what you do with Revalation if you think tribulation has already done.
Great question. You can see the hatred of Christianity getting bolder and bolder and all faiths coming together. Jesus said we will be hated for his name. As the world comes together, we will not be able to join in as Christians, and it will cost you everything.
You can say the same about some Orthodox Jews who believe in the Talmud. They look at gentiles (goyim) as animals.... not human. They say a prayer at the end of Sabbath that talks about God making gentiles slaves for the Jews in the Messianic Age. Many Orthodox Jews litterally hate us and believe that Mary got 'knocked up' by a Roman soldier named Pantera. They believe Jesus is rotting in hell boiling in his own extrement.
Many Christians do not know these things. Another example. The Jews got kicked out of up to 120 countries because of their predatory usury lending practices. If you want to take a deep dive look into the Fedaral Reserve. Read 'The Creature of Jeckyll Island'.
Just be fair and consistent with your struggle with evil religions and people......

You misrepresent the premillennial perspective. The nation Israel was chosen by God. God dispersed them from their land in their rebellion. God also returned them to their land, or do you reject that God set kings and rulers in place and removes them? (Romans 13:1-7, Daniel 2:21, etc etc.
They are our mission field, but you are missing the rest of Paul’s own words. Romans 11:26-28

Another thing, Christians are excited for the preparation of the 3rd temple only because it is a sign that we are close to our savior returning.
Why would God tolerate a 3rd Temple when He sovereignly allowed the Romans to destroy the previous one based on Israel's unfaithfulness?
@@mchristr God allows a lot of things to happen that are not necessarily good. Our sinful human free will typically ends up going against what God would prefer. However God is indeed sovereign and can work all things good or bad for the good of those who put their faith in him. The book of Revelation prophecies that the temple will be rebuilt and animal sacrifices will resume shortly before Jesus returns. When the Jews witness the abomination of desolation they will realize that Jesus is Lord. When they say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord Jesus will return.

Lots of issues of what was said here. The basic premise that the regathered Israel we see today is not the prophesied regathering mentioned throughout scripture, particularly in the Prophets due to present day Israel's spiritual condition. It's so important not to cherry pick scriptures and build a theology around Roms 2 and Rom 9 in a vacuum, but to consider the whole counsel of God's word on any particular topic. In Daniel 9, an angel describes what would happen to the nation of Israel. This folks is that same Israel living in exile after breaking God's covenant. Yet, while in exile due to their unbelief they were still referred to as Israel. Even after breaking God's covenant, God's sought a new covenant (Jer 31:31) with that same Israel and Judah that had previously been cast out of the land of Canaan. That new covenant is the covenant with Jesus. This new covenant in Christ was made with the same nation under Moses, that carried the law. This new covenant was not to a different people. Jesus did *NOT* create a covenant with the world, He came for Israel and Israel only (Matt 15:24). He became the savior of the world by granting grace to the gentiles by including them or _grafting_ them to the nation of Israel which is comprised of natural (Jews) and wild (Gentiles) branches (Rom 11:13-21). Notice that some *natural* branches are _broken off._ Meaning they were previously *ON* the tree. This means the tree had both believing and unbelieving *natural* branches on it, from which God the Father would prune or cut off (John 15:1-2) from time to time due to their unfaithfulness. However, God in His great love for the world ordained a new kind of branch. One that was not born on the tree at all, but native to a wild trees of the world (Gentiles). That they would *by faith* be grafted into this tree, though they were wild branches previously. Now this *faith in God* requirement (Hab 2:4) had always been the requirement to remain on the tree, even for Israel under the law (Rom 9:30-32). But you gentiles, including these that run this UA-cam channel, *beware!* Why? Well, please read Rom 11:18-21. This ingathering of gentiles was for a limited time and during that time Israel would be partially hardened in their unbelief (Rom 11:25). But just as the early disciples understood, this limited extension would end. _After this I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it, that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord_ (Acts 15:17). Jeff's statement (time 50:07) that we should be offended at the notion of rebuilding a new temple in Jerusalem is foolishness at best, heresy at worst. Christ while a Temple of the Holy Spirit taught in the 2nd Temple, even had zeal for it! (John 2:13-17). And He will build the 3rd Temple as well! Just as Christian USA is mostly filled with unbelievers you can't judge the whole nation of modern day Israel with it's popular voices. Were they not the same people who made the golden calf? The same who worshipped Baal? But look to what God did then, is doing now! I say to you! _Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel-all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him._ (1Kings 19:18). There remains even today a remnant of regathered Jews who live in the land of Israel, and yet believe in the Messiah Jesus. In fulfillment of Ezekiel 36 (Please read carefully this entire chapter). God's promise to the land itself, to one day regather them for His own name sake and then after regathering them in unbelief, cleanse them of all sin is literally occurring before your eyes if you have eyes to see it!
Using OT prophecies to come to conclusions for b the v present doesn’t make any sense either. They are completed. New Testament, new covenant. They didn’t cherry 🍒 pick anything they read it in context. If anyone was cherry 🍒 picking, it was thou. And using fulfilled prophecies to boot 👢

What branches were borken off? Remember the Tree is Israel. Who was grafted on? No one is saying anything about Ture Israel. They explained that when Israel rejected Jesus they were cut off. So any Jew who rejects Jesus is a broken off branch.

Israel is defined by God in The New Testament. Yes, God is FAITHFUL to Israel....but Israel is and ALWAYS has been the faithful remnant. Unbelieving Jews and Gentiles have no part in true Israel. True Israel is every believer, regardless of race. There is no distinction between Jew and Gentile now.

I stopped being a rapture believer 4 yrs ago. When you study how it came about and how the scriptures are really stretched. Then the people who are fearful of being left begind saddens me. The thing he doesn't understand and a lot of Christian don't understand is that we have no biblical right to harsh to enemies, regardless of how we feel and what they have done to us.
The whole backward way of the Cross of Christ is to love our enemies, to do good to those who hurt us.
Yes, the Muslims, Atheist, AND the Jews HATE Christian, but our job is to turn the other cheek and offer Jesus. Which is not even remotely close to what I want to offer them! But Jesus died for me when I was His enemy. How much do I owe Him?

God's calling on them is irrevocable. But does that mean they will for sure fulfill their calling? No. The modern nation of Israel is proof of that.
Even in Paul's day, he is saying here that God's plans for Jews were being fulfilled despite the fact that so many were rejecting Jesus. Why? Because Paul redefines what it means to be a Jew - not externally, but internally. So in that sense, the true Jews are always fulfilling their calling when they are in Christ.

When I first saw the footage of the attack at the rave, I noticed something odd. In the background was a giant statue of Buddha, and Jews were dancing around it in the wilderness. My mind didn’t go to Revelation, but to the judgement of Isaiah 10. Christians need to pray for the salvation of Jews more than the peace of Jerusalem. Peace is temporary, but death outside of Christ is eternally worse than any terrorist attack.
Edit: I do think it’s a mistake to call these people animals. It devalues the reality of total depravity of Godless, fallen men.
