You made your name of the back of bullying people, ambushing them in “gotcha moments” The Bible is a subjective documents, the New Testament a carefully curated document meant to suffice the political agenda of Romans who wielded it against the subversives, who were true Christians, whose railed against corrupt society, You instead, don’t follow even the most basic tenets, of Christianity, love thy neighbor, and instead follow along in the same sort of fame seeking as other people’s expense, motivations of corrupt people the same. You are a misguided person and whatever you are you are not a follower of good things. You do not have faith and are not a practitioner. People such as yourself will not be here to do the things you do any longer.
Imagine telling people of their faith that they believe what you say they believe.... lol...... we do believe that in the Father's house their are many mansions and we can get one..... but it is a lie that we teach that you will get your own planet. We believe the eventual end is likely, very possibly the likelihood that we may get a planet of our own but there's no doctrine on it. There's literally zero doctrine that says "you get a planet"..... we teach that the eventual possibility is that we inherit all that the father has... which means you inherit a planet You teach this same theology. You surely teach that you inherit all that the father has....if you teach that, you teach that you will inherit a planet like the father has.
I went to Ward Radio’s channel, clicked the video, screenshot it, backed it up, & posted to social media with the caption “Whew…glad it’s only a lie.” Let’s get these guys to take accountability for what they say.
@@inchristalone25 How do you get the devil to admit they were wrong? Are you calling everyone from Ward Radio “the devil,” incapable of admitting wrong? I’m not sure what you’re saying.

By the way, my waking up process was in large part from your videos, Jeff. So thankfully, I was more than ready when he tried to suck me into his cult. God bless you! And I’ll be praying for your safe travels.
@@CornerstoneMinistry316 So did the man himself: “I will be to this generation a second Mohammed, whose motto in treating for peace was ‘the Alcoran [Koran] or the Sword.’ So shall it eventually be with us -- ‘Joseph Smith or the Sword!’ (Joseph Smith made this statement at the conclusion of a speech in the public square at Far West, Missouri on October 14, 1838. This particular quote is documented in Fawn M. Brodie, No Man Knows My History, second edition, (New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1971), p. 230-231.)
Previous Mormon here, for over 40 years actually & Jeff, you are 💯 SPOT ON CORRECT! YES, that is EXACTLY what I was taught throughout the years growing up Mormon in Utah. You are NOT wrong. If Mormons only used discernment to find out the truth behind their religious roots, be critical thinkers & got to know the TRUE JESUS of the Bible by praying & reading The Word of God, (THE HOLY BIBLE) & seeking the Face of God, I KNOW they would eventually come to know the truth…..BUT the TRUTH will ONLY come to those TRULY seeking it. Keep praying for the Mormons & all that are lost for they are still our Brothers & Sisters.🙏♥️ God Bless 🤍✝️
We do not teach that you get a planet!!!! That's not how it works!!!! You want a planet??!! You have to create it! You don't just get one! Jeez people. What version of the Doctrine and Covenants did you read for 40 years? Goodness gracious.
@@inChristalone1960 the Bible isn't complete. Anyone who has read it cover to cover can tell that there are a lot of holes and lack of clarity in certain points of doctrine. That is why we need additional revelation from prophets, in the same way there were prophets in the Bible.
I'm literally on a Friday morning run, and my breathing was TOTALLY thrown off when I heard them accuse Jeff of SUCH disgusting and heartbreaking crimes against children. Jeff raped, brutalized, and drank the blood of babies?! What a horrific and false accusation. Only someone of their father the devil could not only falsley accuse, but would also laugh at that idea. These aren't gentlemen, they're wicked men.
You catch the most flak when you’re over the target Gentleman. Thank You sincerely from the bottom of my heart for helping to guide my faith away from the watchtower Bible and tract society and ultimately to Jesus.
Jeff, you are a man of true living God. You’re handsome and you look healthy! I was born and raised as a Mormon (in Finland) and everything you’re saying is true. Those Ward Radio guys are lying and I feel disgusted by their behavior. Keep up the good work!
Those Mormons are so embarrassing. If I were a Mormon, I’d be ashamed- not only for their behavior, but also their deliberate disregard for classic Mormon doctrine. If you’re a Mormon, why pretend to be a Christian? Why don’t they take pride in their classic Mormon teachings? It makes no sense
The Mormonism I was raised in would have frowned heavily on the Ward radio video. They likely would have all been called into their bishop's offices for reprimanding.
“But the things that come out of a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. For out of the heart come evil thoughts-murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander” ….. Jeff don’t stop what you’re doing keep preaching the gospel and spreading the word of god I have learned so much from many of your sermons and teachings
Ya it was disgusting. Very sad when they spoke for 45 minutes and didn’t say 1 valid thing or have 1 valid response it’s very sad. When you go outside the word of God this is what happens
Their mocking behavior proves Jeff’s point even the more. As a Born Again Christian, watching these proclaimed “so called Christians” behavior towards Jeff in such a mocking manner is terribly sad to see.😔 True followers of Christ should NEVER treat another soul like this! Reminds me of the “Mockers & Scoffers” the Holy Bible speaks of.😔💔 That is NOT the Spirit of Christ within them, but seems to be something much more sinister. Pray for the lost, that they may find the TRUE Lord & Savior Jesus Christ & feel his unconditional love,♥️ so that they too can share that with others & help spread “The Good News.”🙏 We must keep praying for the Mormons & all that are lost, we cannot give up on them, for they are still our Brothers & Sisters.🙏♥️ God Bless 🤍✝️ Praise Jesus! Local Mormon missionaries recently texted us (inactive members gone Christian) asking to come visit with a message. I texted back saying if your message is Christ dying for our sins come on over. They replied, “so that’s a no?”
Jeff you are 100% on point here. Thank you for going at all of these types of attacks with integrity and respect. You can really tell your love for people for The Kingdom. Hoping The LORD opens their eyes and hearts to the truth!
I am excited to join the Apologia movement....incredible ministry talking THE TRUTH. My wife is now a Christian for the last 18 years since we got married...she grew up mormon and half of her immediate family is still mormon. Her testimony is exactly what you are preaching.....the deceit and lies that they are engrained with through the LDS church. It takes a TON of faith to believe the teachings of LDS...and a ton for fear because of the repercussions from other family members who are still involved with LDS. In my wife's own words....she has never felt God like she has with Christianity. We are members of Saddleback Christian Church with Pastor Rick Warren and Pastor Andy.
These young men are making fools of themselves. Shame on them. Their behavior is ridiculous. I wonder if they realize or care the impression of Mormonism they’re giving to the world. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I’d even go as far to say that they are of the devil. Thank you gentlemen for exposing them and breaking down the falsehood of their beliefs. I will pray for you guys and them. 🙏🏽
Exactly! If these were my brothers and our father saw them acting anything like this they would have had to endure an extremely long lecture and, if under 18 a belt to the backside.
I think the LDS church is cool with them doing what they do. When I said something that upset 1 person in Church, it would get to the stake president. There's no chance they would let a Mormon channel with a moderate but noticeable following go unchecked.
Their mocking behavior proves Jeff’s point even the more. These proclaimed “so called Christians” behavior towards Jeff in such a mocking manner is absolutely disgusting & sad to see. Reminds me of the Pharisees!😔💔 That is NOT the Spirit of Christ in them, but something much more sinister. Pray for these lost souls. 🙏😔
It was so hard to watch the three Mormon guys they were so hateful and focused on bashing Jeff’s looks. We appreciate and thank Jeff and Apologia for all you do
I was one of the kids in the Eastern pageant in Mesa Arizona. I remember seeing people like you talking to members. I remember being so sad and feeling bad for you. Modern LDS people are trying to get away from so many core principles to make it easier to convert people....thank you for calling them out. I don't agree with you on several issues(not related to this ), but I respect you highly and know you put in work studying and going out speaking.
Thanks guys for this video. I agree with everything you guys said and I basically said the exact same thing to them in the comments even before you guys released this video. They literally changed their argument towards the end of their video. It’s ridiculous.
Listening to those fools trying to rail on my Brother made me want to fight. Straight up. It would be hard for me to remain disciplined if someone did that in front of me. Thank you for your grace brothers as a Godly example.
I have been watching all of your videos. I grew up a Mormon in a small town in Utah. I have always felt there was something not right about the church. Jeff has really opened my eyes to the truth and gave me inspiration to want to learn the actual teachings of Christ. It is a struggle to get past the mindset that has been drilled into me from an early age, but I am working through that daily. It upsets me to see these guys from Ward Radio acting they way they do. Glad to see this Ward Radio dismantling the only thing they have left that convinces people to become Mormon, that they are "nice". God bless you Jeff and Apologia for your ministry guys.
I think giving those fools attention is only fueling their evil. First rule in parenting is not to give attention to negative behavior because if you do it grow and grows and grows and becomes a massive problem. I think the same could be said about those fools. They are acting like children.
@inchristalone25 this is true in the sense I had never heard of them before this, but there is also the counterbalance of exposing evil and lies so others are aware. Jeff's work has brought many out of Mormonism as many in the comments attest to, although I do fully understand your concerns too.
It would be great if Jeff could go on the Glenn Beck Show or at least his podcast to discuss these issues. I love listening to Apologia witness to Mormons. I grew up in Mormonism and what a blessing and help for me when talking to my family members still stuck in this lie
I kinda had a hunch about a year ago that Kwaku would eventually collapse and show his true evil side in public. I just didn’t think it would be that soon. He admitted he’s not part of the Mormon church in his debate at Apologia Studio. He’s just someone who believes in the Mormon doctrines and defending for them. Which means he’s a freelancer and can do what he wants with no regard for the Mormon churches.
@cheerfulmouse it's not hurting feelings..it just takes any spiritual legitimacy that they claim to have away. Their actions are very juvenile and spiteful.
@flower99ful it's a bummer because I really wanted to hear what they said. We all believe in and worship a Zombie Jewish Carpenter! If it wasn't true, it would be offensive! So I try not to judge religions on the weirdness factor. I wanted to hear a nuanced defense for their positions, and I just heard a bunch of bullies acting like jackasses. We discussed in the chat, and their response was very unbiblical.
@@brandonutterback3789 You absolutely should not refer to our Lord Jesus Christ in such an irreverent way. Zombie implies voodoo magic and carried with it a negative connotation. If you are a Christian, I would highly recommend against speaking that way about Christ.
I was a Mormon for 15 years, beginning in 1966. I was an adult covert and most of my membership was while living in Indiana. I served in multiple callings (assignments) in the church. I can testify before God Himself, and any human court, that I NEVER heard anyone refer to our Mormon body as Christians. Never. That moniker was exclusively used for “apostates”. Also, having taught multiple classes from multiple LDS authored books and manuals, we ALWAYS taught that we would (if worthy) create and populate our own planets. We were taught, and I taught, that we would have to practice polygamy as exalted Gods and Godesses. We were told, as wives of ordained Mormon priests, that we would be eternally pregnant along with our sister wives, in order to populate the new planets that our husbands would create. That is, of course, what Mormonism is all about. Also, in my 15 years of membership, I heard TWO sermons that were actually focused entirely on Jesus. I’m thankful for all of you who expose the Mormon heresies while holding the young hotshots accountable for lying while covering it up with cackling laughter and ad hominem attacks. God bless you!❤️ PS your beard is magnificent Jeff😊
Yes! I was born and raised a Mormon and left January 2017 - 40 years of regular attending and teaching. I was taught exactly what you say about marriage and the afterlife. I was also taught we weren't Christian and that we were supposedly better than Christians. The times I went through the temple part of the ceremony is a video of the Mormon version of what happened in the Garden of Eden and the "First Vision". In the first vision account it is stated that God and Jesus told Joseph Smith that Christianity was a false religion and that's why the church needed to be restored.
Whatever you remember being told, some of what you say is not official doctrine, but was assumed be the reality of Heaven. If plural marriage exists, it will go both ways, including multiple husbands. Everything is plural with the gods. The fact is, that there is no official doctrine or revelation about what life is like in the Celestial Kingdom other than we know that marriage exists and parents will have children.
@@ramsrnja the Bible clearly states there will be no marriage in heaven so that negates any ideas about marriage plural or otherwise and any supposed "spirit children" that would result.
@mleonard3163 Jesus was talking to unrighteous Jews who did not have the marriage covenant. Notice Jesus speaks of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob right after this. These men had the promise of endless posterity.
I agree. That kid came on and was treated graciously and acted like a complete prick. He doesn't have an argument. He doesn't have faith in God.. only faith in himself.
You'll have to give Kwaku and his buddies some time. They are in complete meltdown mode. Pretty soon they'll talk themselves out of existence. But don't worry, their words have no power. They'll still be around. Their mouths will move, but like a mute, nothing will come out. Ever seen the movie, Muppets? "Beaker" is what I had in mind: Full of "expression," nothing of "substance."
The really sad thing is that Kwaku was making the most vulgar insults and he's actually been on the Apologia show and was treated very fairly even though he was way out of his depth sitting with Jeff and Dr. White.
If I was a Mormon, I would be offended by how these guys are representing their faith. They proved how immature people will use insults when they don’t know the answer or how to respond when called out
Pastor Durbin. I’m not Reformed and disagree substantially with much of your theology but I’m here and viewing and supporting your ministry because of all the good you do. I hope you and your ministry are financially strong so that it may continue. you never have to or should make any explanation about your finances, personal or ministerial ever.
@@ZelphBones I’m sorry, but I’m confused. I wasn’t asking a question. I was encouraging Pastor Durbin to be silent about his finances or the finances of his ministry it’s no one’s business. Is Pastor Durbin a Christian? I think so, he says most of the obligatory things to carry that title. Is he a Christian like myself? No not remotely his Church doesn’t resembles mine at all. What I would never question however is Pastor Durbin’s access to Gods Grace as that’s between him and God. If that was your question and if your question was for me, there you go. If not, oops.
@@ZelphBones No your not wrong. I think God has the ability and desire to save everyone even non Christians. Whether he does or not is between them. After all he saved the un baptized criminals crucified next him at the hour of their deaths. But my belief is more nuanced than my thoughts especially when you bring this Church or that Church’s role in salvation then I have very strong beliefs. Including, that anyone can have a personal relationship with Christ without attending any Church, but if you wish to strengthen that relationship to its greatest possible degree without fear of falling into heresy’s through worship and more importantly receiving the 7 sacraments the best place with the greatest chance to please Christ most, all things being equal is the One, Holy, Catholic (not Roman) and Apostolic Church, the Orthodox Church. Think of it this way Church isn’t about Salvation necessarily, it’s about attempting to becoming worthy of God’s Grace. Trying to put it so simplistically really doesn’t cut it but we’ll work with what we can here. The Orthodox have two words for this, Phronema and Theosis. Phronema is a state of mind and Theosis, which can be a loaded term, but think of it as striving to return to our nature before the fall. A condition without sin or death as God intended for Adam and Eve in paradise. If you want to hear a particular area of disagreement I have with Pastor Durbin and Reformed theology the greatest I suppose would be the Ridiculous notion of Sola Scriptura because the concept denies the unavoidable fact that the Bible is a product of the tradition and the fundamental organizational principle of Enduring Consensus or more eloquently put by Father Panayiotis Papageorgiou, the voices of the many throughout the ages, defined by Scripture and practiced un challenged for one thousand years until the Bishop of Rome turned his back on Both, tradition and Scripture in committing the sin of Schism that continues to fracture the Body of Christ to this day so that we’ve reached the point that anyone with a Bible and an opinion who lacks the fear to use both can proclaim truth every Sunday with unbelievable arrogance and dangerous authority. If Scripture was intended to be sufficient it would have been made so. It clearly was not by historical accounts and is proven not by the fact that there are over 45,000 Christian denominations around the world each using it to proclaim their own individual Truth fabricated out selectively quoting Scripture to carve out some distinction from every other Evangelical trying to do the same thing, to justify themselves authoritatively. You asked, so I’m just saying. Seriously thanks for engaging.
I had just started questioning the mormon doctrine when I watched a UA-cam episode of Saints unscripted. I will be forever grateful for their content. Their defense of Joseph Smith's polygamy made me so nauseous that I was done with Mormonism in less than a week. Thank you, Jesus, and thank you apologia studios for preaching the true gospel.
Amen. I hope that you still believe in Jesus Christ and his saving grace. Many people let the parasite of mormonism ruin all of Christianity for them. That’s what happened to me for many years after I stopped going to church. I realized that the Bible is true, and I sent my request to be removed as a church member because I don’t want to be associated with the works of the devil. I actually hand delivered to letter to the bishop and we had a talk for 2 hours where I outlined every problem with the church that I wrote in the letter. He didn’t know about most of the core beliefs of the church and the church’s founding history.
Don Bradley did the same thing. He's an LDS church historian who knows more about Joseph Smith and the beginnings of the church than anyone. He left the church, attacked it, then guess what?! Got rebaptized. For a guy who knows that much about church history and then wants to come back to the church tells you something: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true.
We love yall brothers. We know that Jesus is good and in control and is blessing your ministry ❤ Thank you for your faithful ministry to our loving Lord
The inconsistentcy of the other channel, I don't even remember the name of it, was pretty bad. It was hard to watch. Really. They needed a brown paper bag to breathe out of. Apologia Studios ran circles around the others.
Being gaslit by Mormons is a real thing. We had a few missionaries over and it was really eye opening. They sounded like Christians in their terminology but I knew better and understood they define things completely differently. Great breakdown guys! Hopefully this back & forth leads some out of the false LDS church.

Thanks Jeff and the rest of the Apologia ministry for the great videos and content over the years. I have used so much of the material that I’ve learned from you over the years to share the Gospel with Mormon missionaries. I would agree with your comment Jeff that the Mormon church over the last couple of decades has undergone a facelift, but would add that they have undergone a lot of rebranding. The more that I learn about their church the more I strongly feel that it’s a business corporation fronting as a religion from putting a lot of pressure on members in their upper teens and early twenties to save up and fund their own 2 year mission to bring in more members to the point that it’s hard to fit in their community or for guys to get dates if they don’t do their mission, to stop disclosing their finances in the 50s when they start become wealthy, to owning several major companies and properties, to forced tithing, to marketing and rebranding campaigns such as I am Mormon and come to Christ. Everything that’s true about a well run business or corporation is true about their church. I believe that their leaders know that they are not lead by God but are fronting as a religion that is really a corporation.
I recommend you suggest “The CES Letter “ by Jeremy Runnels. He was a devout Mormon but after publishing this book , was excommunicated. That’s what y’all should be passing out. Also watch “ Mormon Stories “ with John Dehlin.
Not comedy at all, young men acting like school kids with any kind of logical reasoning or come backs! Them guys are immature! Jeff you and your fellow brothers in the faith are a true blessing for many including Mormons or any false doctrines. God bless you. You rock your beard ✊🏻
Exalt yourself and you will be humbled, humble yourself and you will be exalted. The gaslighting of WARD radio is atrocious. Jeff Durbin you sometimes say things I can’t wrap my head around, but you’ve always ALWAYS done so in a truly loving tone that expresses your desire to bring people to the one true god. @@inChristalone1960 I don't want to be rude, but in the Book of Mormon itself, in Mormon 9, it states, "9 For do we not read that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and in him there is no variableness neither shadow of changing? 10 And now, if ye have imagined up unto yourselves a god who doth vary, and in whom there is shadow of changing, then have ye imagined up unto yourselves a god who is not a God of miracles." It also speaks about the doctrine about ongoing revelation in Mormon 9(along with this) if anyone is interested in hearing arguments directly from the BOM. 😉

Wow, when Kwaku was on with Jeff & Dr White, he seemed like a well mannered respectful young man. Not anymore. He sounds like a downright mean, & very immature young person now. Smh.
It’s becoming a consistent pattern for Kwaku. He can’t fully defend his religion, so he resorts to sarcasm, defamation, mischaracterization, etc. I saw an online debate with someone else on UA-cam (dealing with Mormonism) and he literally just left the conversation right in the middle because he didn’t like what the guy was saying.
@@kellywilsonid I saw that too when Kwaku just got up and left. The gentleman Kwaku was debating (can't remember the name) he said it best, and stated Kwaku wasn't equipped to handle that debate. And he was right.
I am a 60 year old man in my life now. When I was a younger man attending a religious college in the Midwest, I found learning about Scripture, Church History, Philosophy, Apologetics, the Church Fathers, biblical languages, and more to be very engaging. Being able to read deep theological works like "Church Dogmatics" by Karl Barth or "Systematic Theology" by Charles Hodge or even "Summa Theologica" by St. Thomas Aquinas was invigorating. The goal of becoming better educated and knowledgeable about such subjects was paramount. The younger generation (Gen Z) seems to have little understanding of logic and reason. No doubt postmodernism is partially to blame. But these young men are supposed to be "Mormon apologists?" They don't know what they are talking about... Mormonism simply does not believe in the historic Christian teaching (proceeding from Scripture) of the nature of God that Orthodox Christians do... 😆😆😆
As someone who can't grow a beard if my life depended on it, I have to say I don't understand how anyone can make fun of the glorious one on Jeff's face
I don't see bow they knock it, Brigham Young and lots of early LDS prophets had beards, and it was very common throughout American society at the time.
This just confirms my initial thoughts on Kwaku. I just saw that interview where they GRACIOUSLY had that kid on and he was being a little sh*t on that one. Mumbling under his breathe and being about the fakest "nice" guy. He is sick. I hope he sees the truth before it's too late.
I feel them though. The church has really changed its trajectory (although it’s the “restored” church funny how much it changes) its teachings aren’t really about the becoming gods thing. It’s just about love love love love love. I think it’s because they know that people are leaving the church by the masses.
I love what this channel does as i am a former mormon of 40 years. It just breaks my heart to see tgis channel beloeve that the trinity is 3 seperate persons and calvanism. You bring a mormon out of a lie into another lie does someone absoluty no good. With that daud, i was taught so many things in the mormon church that mormons claim is not mormon doctrines. They have hid so much these past 30 years of true morm9n doctrines
You mean kind of like how a Jesus said “I do nothing but what I have seen the Father do”, and Jesus also came down from the presence of the Father in heaven to become a man (mortal) before his ascension back to heaven where he gained his resurrected, glorified, exalted body. He followed in the footsteps of his father - and if we want to experience the fullness of what the Father has to offer, and become joint heirs with Christ, then we need to follow in Christ’s footsteps as well.
this makes me so sad. you and dr. white showed kwaku so much kindness when y’all had him in studio a while back. it’s clear that one of these parties is undeniably more Christlike than the other.

We here in Yuba City CA 95991 had a Mormon church here in the middle of town and it was somewhat overlooked (We also have around 14 Muslim temples) Well they took down their old building and now put up a brand new Mormon Temple and are just starting to invite people in to go through tour's and to get to know more about Mormonism. Are any of you available to help to make a stand for Christianity here in Northern California?
Yes I've seen about that temple opening. I've got several friends who've already attended the opening (one lives in Yuba City). Sadly none of my friends or family are open to listening to the true gospel but I still hope and pray that what I've said over the years has planted seeds. I was Mormon for 40 years and all the teachings Jeff went over are what I taught. Just after I was born is when they said people of color could hold the "priesthood" so that's the only teaching I didn't really get other than that it was no longer practiced.
Decent folk Mormons, when not deceptive in their language. I've met many missionaries here, they've looked me into the eyes and lied about doctrine countless times. I love them still and at the very least wish they'd start to just be honest about what they believe
If the gospel was restored by Joseph Smith (with polygamy) as part of the restoration then in the 1930’s the prophet of that day re restored the latest version of the gospel to end polygamy then either the prophets from Joseph to the 1930s was true and the the newer prophets are false or the re restored gospel is true and the the first prophets were wrong therefore all is false , What a dichotomy they have created for them selves . “Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovah-shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi-ezrites.” Judges 6:24 KJV
They seem to partake of the act of gaslighting quite a lot. “It’s a joke, bro.” If it’s comedy, be funny. If it’s apologetics, be precise. They can’t pick a lane and thus fail at both.
How Jeff lays this out and is exactly what LDS people believe and are taught. From a young Age.i was LDS for 52 years.they were just doing what they were taught.
Kwaku:"Is this guy mad aboyt marketing?" The problem is that the "prophet" said that in a general conference and everybody took it as divine revelation from the lord not as marketing, I can't actually recall if it was said as revelation either but you see my point. If that is just marketing then what else is?
The Mormon church also has a horrifically misogynistic past. As per polygamy an unlimited number of women equals one man. This attitude, having never been repented of or corrected, continues. As a woman in the church I experienced put-downs regularly. Quotes from my stake president: “Go home and iron your husband’s shirts.” “You are like the importunate widow. “ In ward counsel (where I was the only woman in a small room full of men) the men would ask my opinion and then spend a half hour telling me how wrong I was. Just a few examples.
The misogyny in the church is a hand-me-down of Protestantism. All the early converts were Bible believing men who believed that the Bible said the husband was to rule over the wife, that a woman should be silent in church, that they should submit to their husbands (and not the other way around as well) and not deny anyone sex. This is what a good amount of Christian men still believe in today. So this is a Bible tradition problem, and it really is a misinterpretation of Bible scripture and a lack of knowledge of the complete truth. We should be encouraged that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints is moving away from their mysogynistic past, as they are led line upon line, precept upon precept. Change is always hard and slow.
@@ramsrnjaDoes the LDS god still damn people who deny the eternal principle of polygamy? D&C 132 Are women going to be separated from their families so they can serve as sex objects in some LDS man's harem of women should he get to the 'top level' of heaven?
Cunning language is spot on. Mormonism is very well known for some of the most cunning, deceptive, double speak. Listening to these Mormon apologists speak in circles and word play makes my head spin! Mormonism was a much more simpler teaching back in the 80's when I was in the Mormon church. You can't refute something that I was taught, because I was there, and you kiddos were not!
It seems to me that these are just bratty kids stuck in the narcissistic stage in adolescence. They're funded by "Big Mormon, Inc" in some way because what are the chances that those dopey boys have earned enough money for all that equipment by themselves without "help?"
I had a Mormon tell me that Anti Mormons lie about what Mormons believe. But it turns out she was the one who actually didn’t understand her own churches teachings. Because they aren’t up front with their members.
I was a mormon for 40 years and you are correct. I was born into mormonism and when I left I was trying to teach my family about the lies of mormonism. They told me it's all lies and I don't know what they believe. I couldn't understand how they could say I don't know what they believe, I was one for 40 years. The deception is high
I've watched Kwaku from Saints Unscripted to now, Ward Radio and he's never matured or learned humility. He's very hard to take seriously since he constantly straw man's, misinterprets and flat out lies about things. He's not worth even engaging with. The other guy, Luke, has had some meaningful conversations with me. We've disagreed but it's been civil and respectful without being completely ad hominem like Kwaku is.

We believe the eventual end is likely, very possibly the likelihood that we may get a planet of our own but there's no doctrine on it. There's literally zero doctrine that says "you get a planet"..... we teach that the eventual possibility is that we inherit all that the father has... which means you inherit a planet

God bless you!❤️

My mom dated a Mormon in the late 70s and was told that her role would be to have as many spirit babies as possible.
@@ramsrnja the Bible clearly states there will be no marriage in heaven so that negates any ideas about marriage plural or otherwise and any supposed "spirit children" that would result.

I hope you guys go back and forth forever

I actually hand delivered to letter to the bishop and we had a talk for 2 hours where I outlined every problem with the church that I wrote in the letter. He didn’t know about most of the core beliefs of the church and the church’s founding history.
Don Bradley did the same thing. He's an LDS church historian who knows more about Joseph Smith and the beginnings of the church than anyone. He left the church, attacked it, then guess what?! Got rebaptized. For a guy who knows that much about church history and then wants to come back to the church tells you something: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true.

Spent many years in the Mormon church and my close friend is still trapped in it, you are 100% accurate about the face lift the church is attempting.

But let’s be real, the only folks selling whoppers are live at WARD studio.
The BOTTOM LINE IS, what is truth? Is truth always true? Yes. Jesus is the same the yesterday, today, and forever.
@@inChristalone1960 I don't want to be rude, but in the Book of Mormon itself, in Mormon 9, it states,
"9 For do we not read that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and in him there is no variableness neither shadow of changing?
10 And now, if ye have imagined up unto yourselves a god who doth vary, and in whom there is shadow of changing, then have ye imagined up unto yourselves a god who is not a God of miracles."

He was always this way. He put somewhat of a best foot forward when he came on the show to debate, but even that quickly unraveled and derailed.

I almost became a Mormon many years ago. I was told that "as man is God once was and as God is man shall become"

We moved from the Sacramento area about 18mo ago. If we were still there, I would love to have helped.
Good for you!!!!
Talk about painting yourself into a corner
