You just saved the day! I was trying to figure out make a sign like this and other tutorials seemed too difficult.
Thank you for this. Amazed! But can you show up a finished product, complete with the back drop, or how you hung it, made it stick, etc?
It’s right in the beginning of the video the finished product. I used white thin thread and tied it to the letters *fist and last letter so its hanging evenly* and hung it up like that to the pole that’s behind my balloons and backdrop fabric. It can also be tied to thumbtacks and put on the ceiling hanging down. The thread is so thin you can’t even see it.
I'm new with my cricut. My son gave it to me for Christmas. I love your videos very easy to follow. thank you

I used really thin white thread. I taped one end to the back of the letters and the other end was on a needle, I put the needle through the fabric and around the bar, and than tied it and cut off the needle. this was I was able to adjust each string to make it hang sideways

Long 24 inch Cricut mat
I’ve done these but never thought to use foam board as my base! I would use thicker cardstock. But foam board would def be much better!!
The ticker cardstock in this gold unfortunately wasn’t available at my local craft stores, that’s why I decided to use a foam board (:
Question, couldn't the cricut cut the sane "sweet one " out of the foam board ?? Instead of hand cutting it

No, because the foam board is too thick to fit through the rolling bar thing

You have to use the CUSTOM dial

hi, sorry for late reply, I got a super thin white thread and I just tied it to the letters and tied it to the pole that covered by the fabric. (I put the thread on a needle, and thats how I was able to put the thread through the fabric)

Thank you for making this, im trying to make one that says "Happy 50th Birthday" but i keep getting a warning sign how did you do this?
that means that the image is bigger than cricut mat. you would have to cut all 3 words separately. maybe even split the word Birth day and than after gluing it to the foam board, cut the board out as one shape/word

thank you! its called freehand, but I found it on some custom neon signs website, and I just used my procreate app to trace it over, because I cannot find that font anywhere.

I don't see why not. its just cardstock, cricut air will cut it.
How did you hang it?
I put white thin thread through the letters and hung it up. You cant see it due to the folds of the fabric and its super thin
