@@valeriekey1499 Hi, thank you very much. The tool is scroll saw. Great for smaller intricate cuts. Pretty easy to learn as well, just go slow and keep you fingers away from the blade. Really simple, good luck!
Thank you for watching. Yes I always try to see as many ways of doing things. I know everybody doesn't have the tools I have in my garage. So I try to see what can do the job and get similar results. I am glad my video has helped.
Thank oyu for this video, i was torn between which machines to buy, definitely going with the scroll saw until i can get a proper CNC machine. It has a cleaner finish.

First timer great video can I use like a spray primer if it comes in a spray for the plastic thing? then paint it and can I use a hot knife to cut it ? Thank you
Hi thanks for watching. Yes you can use a spray primer to paint the plastic. Just make sure the spray paint works on plastic, most do. Then paint it. Hmmm, I do not know about the hot knife to cut the plastic. I have not tried it. It may work but I would recommend to do it outside with a respirator just because burning plastic never smells good and can be harmful to your lungs. Hope this helps!
Hi,i'm from the UK and i've just came across your videos and enjoy them very much,i don't know if they are available where you are but i sometimes use a jigsaw blade that cuts on the downstroke,it keeps the face of the piece clean and the breakout is on the back, they don't seem to last as long as the up cutting blades though.
Hi, thank you very much. And yes just after I posted the video I found them and have used them. They work pretty well! Thanks for commenting and watching!
Ben!!! You have been a blessing for me! I’m really trying to grow my business and all your tips have come in handy. I’ve been struggling when it comes to charging for the job. Would you mind sharing a pricing list if you have one or just an idea of how much you charge?
Hi thanks so much for watching our videos. I am glad my videos have helped you. Pricing is the toughest part of the job. And is different for everyone and the best I can do is tell you of some of our mistakes. Most of the videos I have on here that mention pricing were booked early on and were still low I think. We were constantly raising our prices because we were figuring it out as we went. The number one thing I can tell you is do not sell your self short when you start. Maybe do 2 or 3 jobs where you break even for materials just for learning experience and photos of your work. After that definitely start charging for everything, supplies, delivery, your time. I can tell you the first 2 jobs I forgot to add in delivery fee which can add up quick, lol. Do not waste your time with people who want to lower your pricing. If they are on a small budget they will not be able to afford the balloons alone. This is more for luxury balloon garlands and backdrops. In my experience the people who will try to lower pricing or get more for their value are the ones that cause the most trouble and time. You are better off not accepting those events and save yourself the stress and bad reviews. The people who value what you bring will always be ok with the pricing and it is better off starting taking a couple of jobs that earn you money than taking every job that comes your way and you can lose money quick. I have 2 videos called balloon pricing mistake and Balloon Garland Grass backdrop event setup in which a talk a little about this topic at the end of the video. Hope this is some what helpful because pricing is tough and just account for everything.

Spandex can be tough but you can just add some clips or screws in the back at the top. And tie some fishing string, it wont be visible. Plus you wont damage the spandex. Good luck!
Hi, the one in the video was 3/4 inch. But I have made them out of 1/2 inch as well. The 3/4 inch is a little more solid than the 1/2 inch though. Both worked great though.
Thank you, I have not tried it out of Styrofoam. But I plan to, just haven't gotten around to it yet. I think it should work well, but I don't have much experience with Styrofoam.
It depends on your budget, but I believe most are 16 inch scroll saws. I believe mine was a 18 inch. But you can make those on a standard 16 inch with some practice moving the letters around. But its easy to pick up. Good luck!
Hi thanks for watching. I used 1/2 inch plywood. Yes I believe you can use 3/4 in plywood. I think it might be work better with a jigsaw as the plywood is thicker and will stay strong during cutting.
Amazon has some cheap scroll saws, but you always get what you pay for so make sure to research as much as you can. Also Ryobi makes some great beginner friendly power tools that are inexpensive. Good luck!
Hi, thanks for watching. At this time I do not create custom signs. Hopefully in a couple months I will be able to offer that option, but not for now, sorry.
I’m not too handy with the printer. How do I get it printed that large? I know it’s multiple sheets but I don’t understand the print side of this. Great work and channel and THANKS
Hi, each printer is different and the main thing is to go to printer settings and look for poster or multiple images. This allows you to print your text into multiple prints. It is very limited on the size and takes some practice to get down. Or I have these texts I already separated on photoshop and separated into a PDF pages on our Etsy page. So when you print the work is already done and you just tape it together. The hard part is it is already sized and cant be made smaller or larger.
Hi thanks for watching. I believe it is a fox scroll saw. But I am not a real fan of it. I couldn't say which one would be best to get but this one has not lived of to what I expected. But it gets the job done.
@@stacielatrelle Yes, no problem. Yes any scroll saw will be easier than a jigsaw, as scroll saws are made for those curved cuts. But can be done with a jigsaw going slow and with practice. Also a they sell a blade for the jigsaw that is labeled for scroll cuts. This is can also be helpful with those turns. Good luck.
Thank you so much for your purchase. Yes I am working on putting together some of the basics, such as Happy Birthday, Bride to Be, Better Together, etc. Hopefully in February!
