Well done guys, it’s been great watching your journey, be warned it can become very addictive!! We have been lucky enough to have sailed around three times to date (once through the Caledonian and twice round the top), and have visited many of the wonderful places as you have. Fair winds on your future travels.
Thank you Terry. Where was your favourite spot around the UK? I think if we had to choose, Faye would pick Salcome, and Rob would pick anywhere in Cornwall. Did you circumnavigate clockwise or anti-clockwise and which do you think is best?
Hi Rob & Faye, Favourite place Falmouth area. First trip 2018 clockwise through the caladonian, second trip 2019 anticlockwise around the top visiting the orkneys Third time 2022 clockwise around top visiting the outer hebridies. In our experience no one way is harder than the other. Sounds obvious, but to fully enjoy its good to have the luxury of time, so you can be choosy with the weather!!
Love your videos. I have to agree with you about the Sailing Brothers diet. I get an urge to go visit them and give them a few cooking lessons!

your biggest saving with gas is to invest in gas safe fill bottles, i use safe fill bottles and save roughly £30 a refil, easily to refill all over the uk and europe, buy a set of valve adapters and its a huge gas cost savings.
@@hedgerowpete do you have any more info to share on this please, sounds great! Have also found that an electric induction hob is saving a lot of gas, but would still be great to have a more cost effective gas setup!
I think that you should have split Fish 'n Chips out from Gannin oot - your public need to know how many times you had Fish 'n Chips!! 😉

Have you watched any of Sailing Sweet Ruca’s videos? They are sailing round the world with their little dog. 🐶 Btw I live five miles from Buckie and our fish n chips up here is pretty good! 😉

@@sailinghjem Just found you so I’ll watch my way through them. 🙂 Sweet Ruca is one of my favourite channels. They’re a down to earth couple and are one of the very few sailing channels going a different route. They’re currently in Patagonia.

They eat what they like and that’s the most important thing 😂
