You are as always a real character Richard. Seeeeeeeeeeyaaaaaaaa Thanks again for the lesson. Need to get my dog walked before it hits a hundred degrees again today. So much for living in the California mountains where it should be nice and cool!
Thanks for the lesson on the zippers. Pretty interesting technique on the hinges too. I think I'll watch it again to fill in some gaps in what I didn't catch in the first viewing. I am still watching and liking videos but had to give up upholstery for the summer, too much outside work to do. Thank you again. Fred.

Quite the project Richard. Turned out beautiful. Quick question... back in the 60's I bought some yellow naugahyde and made a fringe vest for my younger sister. I remember having to put vegetable oil on the face of the vinyl because it was sticking to the presser foot. You don't seem to have that issue. Are you using a nylon presser foot? Or is there something I am missing? Thanks!!
Hello Judih, Thank you so much for saying so! Well, from what I understand, back in the 60's there were the original Nauga's from deep down in the Jungles of East Lava. They had long become extinct. So the closest they ever got to those was the west end Nauga's. Very similar. I use automotive and marine vinyl's that are relation to those Nauga's. Hehe. Just a regular 'Ol welt foot. Please keep liking and watching!

@@oldschoolautoupholstery I was at the Oshkosh air show in about 1985 when Dick Rutan set a speed record from California to Wisconsin in the his EZ. The plane was parked with its nose “kneeling “ on the ground at the Oshkosh air field and Dick was standing near it. He was a tall, thin build man. All this made a big impression on me and I can’t still see it in my mind. The plane’s shape made me think of a hammer head shark.
