Would have loved to see some Dodo Juice Hybrid (Pro) waxes aswell, its amazing how long the normal ones hold up for just a natural, non-synthetic wax! Got a sample of Blue Velvet and Purple Haze at home and amazed at how durable it is, while also having the easiest buff on/off of all waxes I had; only the beading/sheeting could be a bit better, but the hybrid/pro versions are alot better in that regard from what I heard. Still, an amazing test!
Great to see you testing our little Detail Bug Waxstock Sample. For reference and to aid comparison It's our Hybrid Blend and RRP is £15 for 125ml (currently £10 on sale) Well below the others. Hopefully adds some weight behind it being a good purchase over "premium" waxes in terms of absolute value for money 👍 Thanks again for including us in your test. Andi, Detail Bug
I stand by detail online surreal ceramic wax. So easy to use and the gloss and beading is incredible. I've found it bonds well when used after Auto finesse Rejuvenate. I'm quite happy to reapply a wax once a month in the winter as the roads are harsh on our pride and Joy in the winter. It was actually one of your videos I watched ages ago when you used surreal that I thought to try and it was amazing. Great video again!
EZ Ceramic is one of my faves. I reviewed it a while back and found it to be fantastic! Theres also an Extreme version but I've not had the pleasure of that one. Their Graphene version... I've have unfortunately had that one and found it to be nothing but a gimmick. No discernable differences between it and the Ceramic for me - but for double the price!
That's the danger with some of these graphene products that are first to market.... Think we'll see a lot of products containing graphene this decade 👍
great test Mat , I always find especially SN wax resist chemicals cleaner and not easy to strip old coat and also the hard waxes from dodo juice gives very good protection , I’m surprised Swissvax BoS faded very quickly , about colinite 476 I got same result in hot climate here and I find 915 last longer . Thank you for your time its great test .
Was going to say we need more Mrs Mat 😊 . Got a EZ Ceramic and love the application of it . Hard Candy is one of my first waxes , still got 3/4 of a tub here somewhere . I guess as well it's how you care for the car with washes during the winter months too . Mrs knows now you need applicators and cloths for Xmas not pants n socks
Good test 👍 I like paste wax tests but find waxes react differently on actual cars in the winter months vs road grime and salt Than chemical tests with an apc or tfr mix on a test pannel repeated The two winter paste waxes i have tried this year from bouteque companys have only lasted a month and a half each real world Start of nov to end of jan one wash a week using non stripping ph neuteral shampoo So only six washes each 😯
The big surprise is natural dodos go that long and not really differ from supernatural. Has anyone got such results in real world? For winter I have old fusso, finis, dsw, carchem 38, fk1000p, desirable. All easily capable to hold for the real snowy winter and should outlast nuba dodo ;)
I’m trying to get my Meguiar’s Ultimate Paste Wax used up and will be trying something different. It’s a good wax but has zero chemical resistance. Used 10:1 Megs APC as a pre wash once and it stripped it straight off.
I think u should of just left the bonnet outside and done weekly washes, bit more realistic. The waxes should of been given there correct cure times too Take care bro x
@@TheDetailingSpace please buy a tub it’s one of the most durable waxes on the market 2 thin coats is good for 12months of beading goodness, mines been on 3 month and still beads as good as day one so far
Some thougts: 1. It‘s not really a surprise that Swissvax only lasted so little, it‘s a show wax. 2. I have nothing against chemical resistance tests - in fact, I do them myself. BUT: in my opinion, it is just plain wrong to go ahead and say that a wax will last x weeks based on JUST a chemical resistance test, as there are so many more factors which influence durability: traffic film, salt, cold, car parked outside or in a garage, mileage... 3. I actually think that the Detail Bug wax didn‘t receive enough praise as it is one of the cheapest waxes in this test pound for pound. 4. Except for the Detail Bug, Pyramid and EZ ceramic waxes those are all pretty „old“ waxes. I don‘t say that this means that they are bad - quite the opposite - but there are so many fantastic new and modern waxes out there (ODK, Infinity Wax, Waxplanet, Simplewax, Detail Freaks, 50 Cal, ...) which should have been in this test. That‘s because I fear this test does not really reflect the current state of the market.
He did say these were just the waxes he had on hand in the preamble none were supplied/bought specifically for the test so while I won't disagree that other waxes could have been included the video isn't claiming to be finding the ultimate winter wax just what's best out of the 15 on on hand to test and sadly the worst was that camera lens!
Very confused how sublime has beaten surreal as sublime is just a show wax with 3mnths! Surreal should give 9months. Even ultima is 6mnths! Strange that
Highlights for me that what you wash with and concentrate is as important as the wax applied 👍 Supernatural was a suprise, easy on easy off and great shine so I expected it to be poor on longevity .. good find 👍

Thanks for the info!
TBH, almost forgot about it, but found it on a shelf as I was double checking I'd not missed any waxes 👍
Nice interesting video with clear explanations.
Always enjoy these presentations... Keep up the good work Mat
Cheers 👍
Thanks for another excellent video, great effort, love Zymol Glasur.
Glad you enjoyed
Im a big fan of Fusso Coat for winter wax.
Thank you!

No problem fella and cheers 👍

Agreed, they'll be a lot of bandwagon 'graphene' products just like when the ceramics started. They will get better eventually
@@TheDetailingSpace well we were all on that zoom last night with Turtle Wax. 😏
Indeed they will

good test Matt still use colly 476 loads left and 1000p on my wheels use both of these all year
Nice one 👍
I'm a big fan of EZ Caar Care's whole range so happy to see it was one of the top performers
👍
Hi Mat,great video about the winter waxes.14 of them tested.worth knowing.i thought Swisswax would be a good one being a top brand product.

Cheers. The problem there is it'd take weeks/months to teat 🤣 plus I'd need several panels as I do various product tests
Where is soft 99 fusso
I don't own a tub of that.

It's a sealant
Yes it's a sealant that can be topped off with a wax ❤
