    You know you just don’t see mechanics use adjustable wrenches on Porsche and Ferrari. I’ve seen several of these “How to” videos on this kit.,Yours is the best and most comprehensive. Good work.

    You don’t have to unbolt the control arm in the front, if you just turn the wheels a little it gives you enough room

    After driving it a bit didn’t get to a full 1” lower? From your measurements if I remember right it was maybe 1/2” and the rear was not much at all.

    I have the same setup...base model with 1 inch springs..
    Make sure you get an exhaust

    Great video. Did you get the alignment re-done after?

    How long did it take for your car to settle..???..have you remeasured to see how close to the 1 inch drop you are..??

    • @VetOnVettes
      @VetOnVettes  11 годин тому

      Quite a few months. The front settled at 7/8" and the rear just about 13/16". But close enough with a much better road feel & look.

      @@VetOnVettes Awesome..!!..I just got paragon springs and spacers put on my stingray as well(non Z51/non mag ride and non front lift) after 2 days and 125 miles I’m at about 3/4 in front and only 3/8 or so in rear..I’m good with the front but sounds like the rear will come down another 1/2 or so that’ll be perfect…have you done any trimming to your front air deflectors that hang down in front of your front tires..??..love the channel by the way..

    In this video, It looked like you put vise grips rite on the shock shaft. The mark i know would never????? It must have just looked that way.

    I know it looks good, but do you bottom out a lot now?
    Or is that just an acceptable trade off?

      @VetOnVettes  8 місяців тому +1

      Have driven it 2 days so far. No bottoming out 🤷🏼‍♂️

    you don't booger up the shock shaft by clamping on it with vice grips?

    • @VetOnVettes
      @VetOnVettes  8 місяців тому

      Legit concern. They are stainless steel & it leaves the slightest teeth marks. You will never see the shaft with the boot on. Without doing that the shaft just spins & spins even when back on the car. I knew no other way of torquing the top hats back on 🤷🏼‍♂️

      @@VetOnVettes Im sure its fine. Maybe next guy doing these will see this first. Could maybe get a rag around or put some tape on the vice grips before just to keep the teeth from leaving any marks.

    • @VetOnVettes
      @VetOnVettes  8 місяців тому

      @@murfenator82 the tape & rags are good ideas. If the next buyer is really upset I'll take a few bucks off the price of the car. 🤷🏼‍♂️. When I say teeth marks you REALLY REALLY need to look for them. Very superficial.

    Thanks for the info. Did you have to get a alignment?

      No sir. It was true and straight & tire wear has not changed. If any of those were off I would have.
