I want to thank you your videos really do help me make a better experience for my D&D games and channel I'm still new at this but ill keep up with it but thank you very much.
Hi thanks again for the help this has helped immensely, HOWEVER could you showcase how i could separate them in the advanced audio properties of OBS STUDIO or the audio tracks to the section of the streaming category or recording category in obs studio?? Sot that way i can get rid of audio played in the twitch vods? unless you had made a video about it already i'm having a tough time trying to split the audio so its not on the VOD and only to be heard live on the streams :) thanks again and cheers!
Won't work for me at all! I really liked your video but for some reason I cant get it to work pickup the audio coming from any applications. Are you able to help me with this issue?
Thank you for the videos , sure are a great help. I do have a question about this one tho. For the game audio , if I want to switch games do I have to the go thru all that again for each game or is there someway to setup for whatever game you're playing ? Using your above example , if i'm playing Valhiem , and decide I want to play Apex , is there a way to switch the audio without having to go thru changing the window device or do I have to keep changing it for each game?
Oh wow, thank you so much! I've seen a video about this plugin and I actually tried to use it and it was working okay, but I never was able to 'fix' the alerts sounds.
Is it just me or does this plugin looks different than yours after i installed ! maybe there was an update or something but it doesnt look the same with the settings especially, note that i downloaded it from description box. Thank you for such great videos man
I have a question, is there anyway to switch it into a source so you can play the music while streaming without getting copyrighted? and perhaps for it to not show up on the vod?
Awesome Video! Anyone figured out how to get sound alerts from channel points to work? I've gotten everything else to work but I can't seem to figure out where that audio is sourced from without using the desktop audio which kind of defeats the purpose of all of this so I want to try and figure it out. Thanks!
@@MichaelFeyrerJr I don’t see that options for the use of channel points from twitch. I didn’t need to add them separately as they were just a part of the audio. As far as I can see I don’t see where to access them as a browser source. I have my sub, follow, and dono alerts working fine as described in the video but couldn’t find where to source the audio from channel points.
Dear Michael, I have a problem with my audio, please help me solve it, I will appreciate that. I have a Behringer U-PHORIA UMC202HD external audio interface, in OBS, the audio is "not synchronized" with the video, I mean there is a latency. I have to adjust the Sync Offset to 290-350ms every time I would like to record or stream with OBS. What would be the problem and how can it be solved? Thanks in advance
hello, sorry I know I commented earlier but also wanted to let you know that with the browser sources when you have it controlled through OBS creates a HUGE delay with the audio (such as my clip generator). I have tried everything to fix it and it just seems to only happen when i try to separate the audio.
I've encountered a glitch in this tool, while I was playing VALORANT for some reason it doesn't capture our communications in game, so I suggest test the tool first before using it while streaming. Hope this helps!
Same for me but in warzone, but I think it's a different audio source because when I turn down the master volume I can still hear my teammates for in game chat
how do i get Xbox game bar audio tho i cant seem to figure it out id appreciate the help alot i feel like it wont let me because its not a window its an overlay right
Great video, as always! Do you know if there is a way to have the audio output from OBS go into Zoom? I'd love to do all my mixing etc in OBS but can't seem to get Zoom (or other such apps) to pickup the sound.
thanks. I think OBS is suitable as a OS and multimedia playback-mixer for presentation, games, quiet work... profiles (even when not streaming recording)
Since this video is a year old, I wonder if I will even get a response? So I am running my PS4 pro with a usb chat mic Connected directly to my PS4, and then USB-C to my USB -C Connection on my gaming Laptop. Then I have a hyperX quad-cast s Connected directly to my laptop via USB for streaming Everything is all fine and dandy, except for I am having a hard time separating audio when i create other sources Etc.. Spotify, alerts, Things on my desktop thing to be screwing up my sound I have everything defaulted to my headphones because that's how I want to hear everything unless I change it on my computer to speakers
It’s hard to say what the issue is. This feature is now built into obs 28/29 and functions mostly the same as when the video was released. The plug-in does still exists and work and gives you a few extra options over the built in feature.
I feel like this was tailored made for me as I just asked about it on the last video. I do have another question though. Some games use other apps for their voice chat. In-game VC like valorant, audio is coming from "riot services.exe" which I can see in my windows audio control panel. So adding valorant audio on the OBS plug in Is not enough. I keep keep "riot services" app too. But since it's an app that runs mostly in the background, I don't see it on the drop down OBS plugin list. Is there any work round for this? Love your videos btw! Thank you so much.

I was having this audio problem which I think I read a lil more on, on the website for Win Capture, but I didn't quite understand. Like when I playing Skyrim, as well as Smite I noticed my sound was very directional in the video. If anybody knows a way around that - Thank you so much

Too bad the plugin still doesn't work no matter what way i add it, tried it with loads of games and nothing, its cool that its finally a thing just kinda hit or miss.
You seem to suffer from a problem that I see with a lot of Windows users - forgetting that not every computer uses Window. The plug-in you promote in your video only works under Windows, which means it's of no use to many OBS users, which is worth mentioning because such users exist and they'd have to get some way through your video before they'd be able to able to figure out (for themselves) that it's not relevant to them.
I don't understand why you even brought it up in the first place my dude. Obviously the video is for Windows, like most on UA-cam. Really there is no need to come in here trying to cause issues. Move along.

Good Video, But always when I choose any audio Capture my OBS Crash, What Can I do?
Okay, but when I use this, my stream can only hear whatever is on track 1 so I may as well just use desktop audio for everything?
Huh?
Go in settings see if audio track 2 3 4 5 6 ect and checked for useing

Hey, is there any way to involve soundalerts (Streamelements) ?
Since I use the plugin I don’t hear Follower alerts, Donations,…?
When you add the browser source for the alerts you can check the enable sound control in obs box.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr thanks for your fast reply, ill gona try :)
Would you know a solution for Mac to split sources like this and free?
Does this catch audio sound communication when using a ps4
Depends where that audio is playing.
Is there something like this for mac m1?
Is there a way to actually organize them though? Like moving them around in order so the order in the audio mixer isn't random?

Is this a better method as opposed to something like VoiceMeeter?
IMO, YES!!! Voice meter is really powerful, but this is a lot simpler.
