I honestly love listening to the instrumental versions of both albums because you get to really hear the nuances of the drumming and guitar playing that you dont get when you listen with the vocals. The vocals are absolutely amazing but the instrumentals are fucking MIND BLOWING
@@DevinMarkovichMetal these guys are from the guitar pro generation so entirely possible they write a riff and then notate it straight away or even just record it straight into a daw and notate it the day after. I've done it so I know it's possible
it's common to use recording software as a writing tool for modern metal bands. that helps you imagine things you wouldn't come up with naturally, you don't even have to play it yourself until you play live.

I’m gonna give this song my unbiased first impression opinion. The drumming is what held the song together, unfortunately the melodies themselves didn’t do much for me, seemed kind of flat. MAYBE if the random off key piano part that slowed it all down for some reason was taken out it would have more of a flow. His drumming though was spectacular, the rest was kindof eh. This is only my opinion. Nice reaction though man I love how you analyze and break everything down, really good stuff. Helps us to understand what’s going on. Keep it up brother

By playing it over and fucking over lol Then asking the guitarist wtf was that you just did there? Then listening to him play it over and over again to find the right flashy fill and beat. It can be like banging your head against a wall sometimes but damn, when it's done. It's almost orgasmic when you play beginning to end without a fuck up.
Recommended another brush song before but seems fitting now. Check out Jean Paul Gaster - Laurli. He is a groove monster and the whole front half of this song is played with brushes.
