I don’t mind my baby father having our boys n he smoke often but I wish he got them more though bc it’s very hard working overnight n getting off pickin them up from the baby sitter n taking them to school. Then going home trying to work out bc I gotta get rid of this FUPA cleaning the house up n deciding to either cook or buy food so I can get some rest. Some mornings I cook in the morning for dinner so when they come home from school they can eat. Then spending time with them before work. Not speaking on washing clothes 3 to 4 times a week barbershop on weekends n not speaking not getting enough sleep during the week like I need to function correctly man it’s a lot more but folks don’t do this single parenting stuff so you don’t go crazy. Plz don’t tell me how ppl did it bac in the days.

I was a single mom with 2 beautiful girls, whom are grown now but, there father did not want anything to do with his girls, after I caught him in my bed with another woman who was 8 months pregnant with his child. My girls haven't seen or heard from there father in over 19 years and never received child support. My girls are better off with there father not being in their life..

I have seen the opposite in my life..not that I think it’s good for men not to take care but f their kids, but I do not have children I married a man with 2 young sons and he left me for a women with 2 kids and my last boyfriend left me for a women with a young son and he does not have kids. Most of my family had children out of wedlock and were never without a man for long. Im still single without children 🤷🏻♀️

Child support and visitation are two different things anyway. A woman legally cannot keep their child away from the father even if he is not paying child support, but You have to help support!! And it's sad that in most cases mfs are too immature to handle their business. Take your L, man up and do what you've got to do. It's inevitable, there will always be a default parent and most of the time that default parent is the mother - it is what it is- which is WHY men are ordered to help support financially. If you've been supporting and lose your job and you need to get on your feet again, cool, i understand. Shit happens. But if you're just not doing shit and only coming around when you feel like it, bringing inconsistency into my child's life. As a mother I need to do what's best to protect my child's heart and feelings even if it's from their own father.
