On one side, we have a hostess who is unaware of the ramifications of raising a kid without a father, effectively sabotaging his development. Money will not replace having a consistent masculine role model like a father. Then on the other side we have a guest who is completely self absorbed, a literal (and I don't mean figurative) threat to society for generating broken homes, and even worse, we have commenters praising him for his "honesty" despite the fact that he has no reason to be dishonest when he's consistently rewarded for his degenerate actions. He brought a girl to the studio who's practically "ride or die" for him but he explicitly voiced no desire to commit to her. His own mom warns girls not to date him and they date him anyway.
And then the conversation touches on children ruining relationships despite the fact that [successful] societies were designed to restrict selfish desires and designed marriages (or the umbrella term, civil unions) so that people commit to their obligations and responsibilities of raising children (aka identify the kids of a man and make sure he does his job as a father) so that the vast majority of people have a fair shot at life. The lifestyles these two are living have a high rate of failure and have a poor rate of success. Makes you wonder how many people share similar lifestyles and aren't as successful or even worse, end up creating problems for society at large (ex. absent father leading to troublemaker kid who ends up in jail). Creating problems that would be far far far less likely to exist if they followed the tried and true playbook of life.
God help us.

Kids do not ruin relationships, People allow kids to ruin their relationship. If you prioritize everything else before your relationship then of course it's going to fail ! People stop going on dates, spending time together, working overtime etc. Like what do you expect?
although he is narcissistic and the WHOLE problem I appreciate his honesty. he DOES NOT speak for majority of men.. A lot of men know the focus is supposed to be the family unit and adjusting to changes..if ur selfish you just shouldn't have kids and that is his problem he is selfish and the focus needs to always he on him. Real Men fall more in love seeing their wives become a mother and seeing their nurturing side to their child. once kids get a bit less dependant there is another shift that is only expected with growing a family and laying roots. women HAVE to put a lot of time and care and effort into being a good mom ESPECIALLY in those first years, but then things come back together better then ever. Sharing the joy of watching your offspring’s grow and learn and teaching them what a healthy relationship is like is what life is all about for a lot of ppl. It’s not for everyone though and again I appreciate his honesty .

He’s not being “honest” guys. He’s talking too much and getting caught up in the bullshit that he’s saying. Like he’s not even thinking, the words are coming out. So when he’s called out, it SEEMS like he’s taking accountability and being honest but he’s actually just a manipulative, fast talker.

That’s the way it should be but you have to wait until they are 2 or 3 years old. When they are a newborn to toddler, the child comes first because they are helpless and, especially if it’s the woman’s first child, new moms are bonded to the baby and their brain is changed to be anxiously attached to the baby.
