I can't believe people made it that deep. They can always try the style but sit under the dryer for themselves. Everyone may not have a sit under dryer. Then don't do the style or do it earlier in the day so that your hair can dry a little better. Use your hand held dryer to help the process.

i was at a museum and saw some headrests, which are like super low mini benches you put under your neck, and it lifts your head above the ground (or in this case mattress) and they were designed for sleeping in very elaborate ceremonial hairstyles, but maybe it would work for this situation as well?
That reminds me of that movie, Memoirs of a Geisha. The way they had to sleep with their hairstyles was on a little mini bench or stand sort of thing. Looked very uncomfortable.

Sleeping pretty is a skill we black women learn as a skill from our childhood. when our moms did our hair the night before a special event. you better not mess up your hair before school picture day....lol
White women used to do this back in the day too, especially in the 50’s. But straight hair became fashionable in the 90’s and it was a wrap after that. Now candy curls and wavy hair is back.

Ever since I had 4 hairs on my head, my momma had those pink foam rollers in my head every Saturday night for church on Sunday. You learn how to sleep on your stomach with your face between 2 pillows, or any other bizarre position,lol. I can now sleep any where, any place, any time. #Baddie_since_birth
