Woodturning - The Aquarium bowl

I’m not sure what kind of wood this is. I found it at a Home Goods store and just loved all the twists and twirls. It looked like it belonged in an aquarium, so I cast a piece of it in a light blue resin and used standard woodturning techniques to produce this unique hybrid pedestal bowl.
I used Promise Deep Pour Epoxy, which is my go-to for deep casts like this. I’m not sponsored by them or anything, but I love the quality of their product.
