I have s21 ultra and i love it. The problem with 8k recording is its only 24 fps so if anything moves a lot in the recording, it gets blurry and not clear. Still and less motion video looks better not fast pacing one. Another thing is you need a 8k display to enjoy the most of it. 4k to 8k is not a big jump so its difficult to say the difference compare to 1080 to 4k. But i am still a samsung fan. Whatever this phone provide is ultimate.. display, design, features everything
I agree 100%. We must have in mind that only a few high end mirrorless cameras offer 8K recording but they cost 4x the price! 24 fps is the standard for 'cinematography' video and I am actually more bothered that the standard Android app doesn't offer 4K 24fps. It's difficult for me to mix the footage from the phone and the cameras if they have different frame rate. But anyway, I don't think there is a better phone camera than the S21. Let's see what Apple presents tomorrow!
@@doriansorzano I use the normal video mode. I was not aware of a pro video mode until now that I read your comment... And now I see that there are 24fps options for every resultion in that 'pro video' 🙄 Thanks for your comment, now I learned one thing more about the phone!
@@RamonLinares no problem. I shoot in pro and I forgot it does 8k as well. Lol. Play around with the resolutions though! Some of the lower resolutions have stabilization in pro. If you want you can check out the video I made about the rig I use. Only 3 mins. Lol

It can be both. I would advise to do 4k only because there is not much benefit of recording in 8k. To get the 24 fos (more cinematic) in 4k you should go to the 'video pro' mode of the camera.
I didn't do anything special, I used the default camera app. One thing that is important is to record with a lot of light. In dark situations the image is really bad but this applies to any phone. Thanks for your comment!

How big is a 1 minute Long clips in 8k?
I just did a test and a one minute video in 8k 24fps was 580MB. Certainly not small

UA-cam reduces the quality when watched in a phone. You can try to force higher quality in settings but at the end it's up to youtube to decide...
