Thanks for the kind words! I tried to cover what I was wanting to know about the bike when I was looking at them. I’m not really sure how to review bicycles. Lol! Thanks for watching!
@@whoeverwonders9892 I can’t tell that it does. The rear is just air I believe and the front is a spring and grease to the best of my understanding. I haven’t taken them apart. They aren’t bad for what I do though! 👍🏻
I ordered this bike last week from walmart Canada...and they sent me a crib set, now I gotta deal with the hassle of them picking up the crib to get my money back
😂😂😂 That’s awful that you have to deal with that and still wait but it’s sure funny! I hope you get your bike soon and can start enjoying it! Let us know how you like it when you do! Thanks for watching!
What is the stand over height from the ground to the flat spot at the top tube just above the E-Ride logo? Seat tube cutting is easy, but if the bike is too high to reach the ground comfortably, that is a problem? People have mentioned the bike for taller riders, but it appears that a simple trim of the seat tube is the fix there.
I measured mine in the gravel and it was 29 inches to that flat spot above the e-ride logo. Yea the seat tube is an easy fix. I’m 6 foot and I really like the size of this bike. I’m no expert by any means though! Lol. Hope this helps.
Thanks! I won’t be riding them as much, that’s for sure! Lol. I do still enjoy the responsiveness of the lighter bikes although this bike isn’t that far off. I’m thoroughly impressed!
Thanks! They are heading in the right direction now! Unfortunately no they don’t state what kind of motor it is. I’m curious about that too! Maybe I’ll take it apart one day and see if it says in there somewhere! Lol.
So far so good! It’s actually my favorite bike that I’ve ever had and so far zero issues with it. 🤞 I did change the revo shift out for a thumb shift but that was just preference. I will update here if I have any problems and will eventually do a follow up video on this exact topic. Thanks for watching!
I think the mid drives are overrated. . They're so hard on chains and sprockets.. and if you break a chain or sprocket you're dead in the water.... There's a lot more to go wrong with a mid drive 80% of your bikes are hub drives... There's a reason for that .
It really just comes down to the type of riding you are trying to do. Road, gravel, up to Catagory 2 / green trail. I'd buy a hub drive for that vs mid drive.
Not without peddling, no. It doesn’t have a throttle only like some bikes have. This one is a pedal assist but it’s easy to pedal and has lots of power. Hope this helps.
That’s exactly what I was gonna put on the mongoose. That and an air shock for the rear too. I believe it can be upgraded nicely as well. I have a few parts in my cart ready for checkout. 😎 Thanks!!!
@@Exo_carbon.24 If i was you. I'd stick with the hardtail 29 and just swipe the rear hub with a standard one and put a mid-drive conversion kit bafang on it. You'll have better options to get away from the 250watt version and crank to 1000watt for insane power. Then replace the internal battery for 10.5ah (If you can manage to buy the Mid-drive battery which fits into the older modules.) Or buy another battery and mod the wiring under the frame to the new battery placement. You'd likely get better performance, power, range, and parts.
@@MountainMindset Not to bad. The stock 26er weighed roughly 47-50pounds. I'm sure swiping the handlebars/seatpost (Which i bet are steel.) Would shave alittle bit. And fork/rear shock for air might also help. But in all. That hefty weight is good to have. It is a small form bike packing a huge punch. Unlike the other higher brand companies (Not sold on walmart. Aka Giant, etc.) that beef their bikes up by widening the frame (But thinning out the metal tubing. So it's thinner but stiff.). So this bike even though small the tube gauge is much thicker for much better overall strength and toughness to withstand the abuse from daily day things being thrown at it. (Like crashing alot. Which even some high end bikes don't fair very well.). One of the best things on this bike that you won't likely wanna do on a higher end version. Is putting a rack, panniers, etc on it. Fearing the frame might buckle. The Hyper though is tough to beat.

@@peterthomson6161 dude, I'm been riding mountain bike since the 80s and full suspension downhill starting in the 90s. You're the one who is clueless. My I ask how much exactly this mid drive ebike weight. Hopefully a female can bring it up inside the SUV. Thanks🚴♂
I believe it weighs close to 56 pounds if I’m not mistaken. It’s no lightweight. Hope this helps.
Is the stock wheel front rim 30mm inside or outside ID?

The Vinka motor is very impressive. Torque sensing is tits

It's like wearing a fit bit or appel watch on you he'll I might go get one
Once u switched the front fork dropper seat stem and handlebar it should be good
Yep! It’s on the list! 👍🏻
I'd find that gearing limiting as well.
Did a cost run up $350 parts more this would be a really capable bike.

It this a bafang motor ?
I believe the brand of the motor is Vinka.
I wonder if i can replace that motor with a bafang ultra
@@Exo_carbon.24 I don’t know for sure but I doubt it’s a direct bolt in. Maybe with some modifications it would work. Be interesting to see!

Anybody tried the Vinka motor with a baserunner or phaserunner?
How much does it weigh?

Don't waste your money. The rear suspension linkage is crap. No bearings in pivot.
Bushings are fine. They are going to be easier to service and maintain. If your judging the suspension on that, your ignorant.
