Ok I was ready to be sad when I saw the chopped Burle Marx Flame-guess who’s happy? They are beautiful, I love seeing you with one on each hip. Surround yourself with those beauties 😍 THAT RED ANDERSON WHAT??? 🤩🤩🤩 looks so good looks fake. I literally can’t even. I need one immediately. It’s stunning. That variegation deserves an award.
These plants are like my green squad, always bringing the leafy vibes! 🌿 Let's keep growing together and conquering the jungle of life, one watering can at a time! 🌟
You give the best plant tips that I 💯 agree with. It’s contrary to what alot of others say but it really works. Maybe we have similar growing conditions? 🤷🏽♀️ But yes monsteras, philodendrons and Hoya like to stay moist. Growth slows down significantly when they’re allowed to dry out. Learning alot from you as always! Thanks Kevin!
Kevin, I’m not trendy but I do use a leca layer just because I can see the water level. I grow most of my plants in no drainage and when the pot is filled with PON it’s almost impossible for me to see the water level…
I bought some plants in pon & leca recently. I couldn’t see the water level & it freaked me out. I grow in a chunky mix & much prefer not having to worry about roots sitting in water or having little pots of water all over my house 😬
I love your clemensiorum! It’s incredible. Mine has convex leaves as well, and I always thought it was only me. Mine is in pon as well and was positioned about 6” from a T8 grow light, so really bright light. I recently moved it to a cabinet with much lower light. The growth tip started growing again, so I’m waiting to see what the next leaf looks like.
You certainly get a workout hauling those plants around, and around, up and down. Must be great squat exercises and no weight lifting…no dumbbells needed.
I transitioned my Semihydro BMF to Deep Water Culture, and the transplant shock took a few months for it to really get going again, but I'm finally getting some good growth and quick acceleration in fenestration. Here's hoping the good growth continues. I also agree on the light intensity, mined were laying down against the petiole and they were yellowing, it appears happier with less light. I really like your planters with multiple stems for this plant. I will have to do that when I need to chop and prop. Your plants are looking great as always!
The name of your Thaï must be 'Crème pas brûlée' I love that you love Orchids, because they are the reason why I fell in love with indoor plants. I think if you can grow Orchids, nowing what they need, you can easily grow Aroids afterwards. Hope my English is correct.
Do you use silica to help prevent the browning of the white leaves. I’ve seen Charmaine , @unplantparenthood, use it and Alice, @youdontevengrowhere. I believe they’ve gotten positive results.
Your love of plants is infectious.
I’ll take that infection!! ❤ and don’t try to give me any antibiotics!!
OMG. I want the Hoya. So beautiful, I’m obsessed with Hoyas 😂🙃, Love your content. ❤️🙏🏼
I love the way you love your favourites 😊

Aw thanks 🥹
Must be the similar growing conditions cause my monsters want to be bone dry. 😂
@@melanieg.9092 really?! Goes to show how growing conditions can make plants behave so differently.

Agree. Exact reason I do it too!!

Loving your Hoya and Orchid collections! They are so GORGEOUS! 🥰
The orchid miki Japanese pearl with those pink speckled blooms is stunning.

Fabulous, just fabulous. I'm into Aroid plants but those orchids are so scrumptious 😊
Definitely BMF! Gorgeous!
So happy to watch a favourites video! Please make more ❤
I love your “favorites” videos!!!

Flames are pretty cool!!!
Thank you for sharing, Kevin.
Do you have a video covering how to transition orchids from bark/moss to leca?
That Red Anderson is so gorgeous. If I ever see one reasonably priced, my decision to not buy any more Philodendrons will be ignored.
Yay! Long videos! 🎉
Kevin, I use silica as a foliage spray. I won’t use it to water a plant again. I had sillicapocalypse with my anthurium in no drainage. Never again…
Happpy to see you back 😀🇨🇦
Yes, on every month favs
The name of your Thaï must be 'Crème pas brûlée'

Happy Monday Kevin!
Happy Monday ☺️💚
When you said “do you see this big one??” I laughed bc I’m sure I sound like that to my bf when I say “No no look at THIS leaf” 😂
Marilyn! The creamy color of the thai con reminds me of Marilyn Monroe's hair. Both are gorgeous Divas with a gentle soul.
You can adjust the pH after you check the pH after watering.
great video!!
A wishlist plant of mine
My burle Marx flame does well in leca but it goes through the water reservoir so quick even with upsizing pots so I’m debating switching over to soil😩
Love the video!!
Kevin I’m thinking of getting a phaelenopsis orchid. What do you have them in. Leca or Pon?
What is your leca nutrient water mixture?
Hi Kevin! Proposing a name for your creamy M Thai: Cream Ghost or just Vainilla ✨☺️
I think she will be Disney Princess "Snow White" (for the name of your white leaf Thai con) :)
Monsteras ❤❤❤
I just watched your Kartel daun video, do you have an update on them? Im currently awaiting an order from them.
I know you don’t really run the heat but why the a/c unit running this early in March?
a YT'r named Gardening in Canada did a video on silica, if you care. shes a soil/plant scientist
Wow❤
❤❤❤ Kevin smart 😊😊😎🤓

Hi Kevin name your thai chloraphyllis (chlorophyll- less 😂)
I LOVE silver hoya! 🩶🎉🩶 I think they're still a thing.
