Really liked the honesty of this video. Lots of trials and tribulations involved with keeping plants growing. This video confirmed some of my observations. Nice to not be alone.
I agree with you thats why i dont do social media at all im too busy living my life than proving i got one, i just go on youtube for planty things thats about it😏
You're keeping it real, and that's why I love you and your channel! I keep all my deformed, yellowing, and brown, crispy edged leaves on my plant until they are completely dead or they drop on their own. I believe that if you remove those leaves too early, it will do more damage than good. I'm sure for those people who removed all the imperfect leaves on a plant...no longer have said plant. Can you imagine all the natural green plants outside in the world if someone went around and removed all the imperfect leaves? The world would look a lot different and very sad and barren. Keep doing you and teach others to grow a natural looking plant 🪴.
Yes show the bad, to show the reality. But also, ITS OKAY to show the good and be proud of what you’ve accomplished!!!! Both are true!! You’re awesome, and I always appreciate honesty from my fav UA-camrs
Thanks for sharing your plant knowledge! I think you helped me identify some yellowing on my A vittarifolium that occurred after a good solid watering.
I think your change off moss poles came with the change in the style of moss poles, the metal framing and now the plastic poles with a solid back which holds in the moisture. The old ones got crispy in such a short time resulting in a lot more time spent on the moss poles rather than the plants.
I like the content of your videos!! Thanks for sharing!! Don’t worry, we all know that plants can be sassy and decide to throw a tantrum. Strange to say but it’s nice to see it on screen for a newbie like me! Be great if you could give updated feedback on the plastic moss poles, I don’t have a lot of vining plants but am looking at this option for my juvenile plants like monstera standleyana, pink Princess and mini monstera (currently on bamboo stakes) and a tiny variegated epipremnum pinnatum (currently on nothing as it’s those tiny 70mm enliven ones from Bunnings) ❤ they’ll be on the covered patio.
Oh Kevin.. you are always so relatable.. my plants look like crap but they're alive(I think 😂) I tried to prop my monkeytail and the cutting AND the plant turned to mush 😣 I adore you and all you share 💚🌿🎄
Thank you for the video. I was nervous for your new melano leaf when you were adding moss, you were talking with your hand with the stake and I congratulate you on not stabbing it!😂
Yes I agree there’s all theses plant influencers that don’t show the bad I have healthy plants yes someone have yellow leafs I wait till they yellow out before removing them it’s normal we all know that all plants have root rot we can’t stop it…. It’s normal I’m not going to take a plant out of its medium just because it look sad at this point in my life I have More plants in Leca then soil so half the time it’s because the water level is low
Hi Kevin. Love that video and yes to showing the bad and the ugly along side the awesome. You are doing great I am thinking on starting to use PON in the new year (if I can get my hands on some) Question: How do you prevent the PON substrate to go down your pipe when/if you flush? Thank you
I definitely want to start showing some more of the 'bad' too! Looking forward to seeing your content on the 'not so pretty' side of your plants :) also, as a full time image retoucher, DO NOT believe anything you see online. No matter how candid an image may seem, nothing is real 🙈
Can you can you do a video on how to acclimate a plant and pond and what are the perks of using pond because I see you use a lot of it on most of your plants and I would like to put my Thai in pond too
I love these rants! I think it’s healthy to be able to rant about people and their actions. I’m sick of people thinking their 💩 don’t stink! They need the enlightenment or they’ll keep getting away with it.
I would be super interested in seeing a video of the ugly stuff! I think your personality would suit that kind of video well since you could just laugh it off or give some sass to those ugly plants! But ultimately make videos of what makes you happy!!!
Well its crazy that people get sad because of plants. Thats just not ok. I understand if you compare yourself and your looks to others because thats unfortunately "normal" but not your plants. Its not you its your plants and all are beautiful. Social media is really a weird place where people get sad because they see millions of other people they would never ever met in real life and still they value their opinion. The concept is crazy.

Yay! EVERYBODY rant! It's healthy to let it out
I love hearing ALL your opinions Kevin!!
Literally a min and a half in and I’m 😂💀 with the caught wire and then seeing you maneuver through the doorway with that gorgeous but large plant 🤣

The McDowell is stunning
People aren’t perfect nor are plants 🌱
Yours blow mine out of the water JS ❤ I admire your dedication !
Raw footage is good. I expect my plants to look great like others, but the struggle bus is always in route, lol. Stay true to you.

Authentic and relatable is the most beautiful to me ❤ thank you 😊

TRUTH!!!!!! You are keeping it real. Thank you
I much prefer reality in videos and posts. Also, l❤ve the Christmas tree reflected in the tv screen while you film! So cozy 😊

I'm really curious about who you and Fern are comparing yourselves to because your collections are among the most impressive on the net ^^
