I dearly love you. Your honesty makes me smile. I love your " confession." Says your momma did a great job of giving you good values & to know yourself. 👍
I'm glad you shared your troubles & didn't hide them. Everyone on UA-cam is or pretends to be an expert. It's refreshing to have someone to relate to! I'm starting seeds for the first time this year. You've set my fears at ease. 'Live, learn & try again!' 💞
Thanks for your honesty! It's refreshing. I just heard a gardener say this week that if he doesn't fail at growing something each year, then it means he isn't trying enough new things.
Thank you so much for your honesty and posting as is. It made me wonder how many videos out there are actually round two or three etc? Some of these gardeners have such a massive success rate that they make you feel like failures. I feel so much better now, knowing that even experienced growers don't grow everything perfectly 100% of the time.
Its funny how we can be supportive of others. And so hard on ourselves. This year i started a lot of petunia wave from seed. I have tried in the past. And failed terribly. This year i got a lot of seeds to grow. But i have a lot that refuse to grow. Some are in their pots with blooms. While others are literally the size of a nickle. Strange! They are not dead. But not growing either. Its so weird. And i have been harsh on myself. I let these stunted plants ruin the fact that i have successfully grew some beautiful plants. I have jist recently found your channel. Thoroughly enjoying your videos. And learning a lot. Thank you!
Please do not apologize. I am sure there is a lot of social media pressure. Keep it real, we are learning from your mistakes. You are awesome just the way you are! Also, I over winter my giant elephant ears last year. I cannot wait to see if it breaks dormancy! I would suggest you start it in your pot but plant it directly in the soil if you want it to get huge!
Thank you for your honesty!!! It helps more than you may realize❤. I live in northern Minnesota and have been feeling a little defeated by cold weather, chickens tearing out plantings and a few plants i ordered for food forest that did not live. I guess the beauty of failure is the reminder that God is in control not us🐝
Glad you decided to share your mistakes. We can all learn from them. Why stress? Gardening should be fun. I really enjoy the behind the scenes at the nursery. 👍
Hi Corey... I was watching your... I have a confession . The top of the elephant bulbs has rings... I mention it because you stated you was not sure how to plant them... Hopefully this will help ... Happy planting !!!
Truth and authenticity is so valuable. Thank you. I am your number one fan now for it. The struggles are real life happens thank you for showing us to keep growing try again whatever way works for you may not work for me that's ok try again. Thank you so much
😅 Gardening is part science, part art, and a pinch 🤏 of magic. I forget to water, prune, fertilize, weed, and Mother Nature has mercy on me and plants thrive. I am meticulous and plants die. Life is a mystery and so is gardening. As long as my score sheet stays on the plus side I can get through the losses and improve along the way.
Have fun with the elephant ear. I have found the bulb needs to stay fairly dry for the 4-6 weeks it takes to sprout. I’ve started mine individually in large nursery containers and then moved the sprouting EE to the final growing container. However, I’m guessing you will have quicker growth from the bulbs in the greenhouse than I do in my home.
Hey Corey. I have a question. I hope you can help me. So you talked a lot about over watering petunias. Does a self watering pot over watering a petunia if it's planted it in? I have a self watering pot but I'm trying to hold back on putting too much water in it's reservoir as I might over water them.
A well-designed self-watering is designed to let the plant wick up only the water it needs and it expels any excess water through a drainage hole. A lot of pots with reservoirs don’t have drainage and that can lead to overwatering. We keep petunias in AquaPot self-watering containers at the end of our driveway and fill them once a week. They looked great.
Yep. They went from normal to stretch in 48 hours. I'll have to wait a little longer because there isn't much growth above the first set of true leaves.
Learning seed starting this year. Thanks for posting your seed starting journey, it’s refreshingly transparent! You’ve got me hooked on rice hulls too. As a side note, 2 of the big box store cannas (same as your’s) are emerging this morning. 🎉
We work with plants that come in as baby plugs. Seeds are a completely different beast - as is soil blocking. And these are varieties I’m growing just for my personal use… so most I haven’t grown before.
I dearly love you.

Thank you for being so honest. After that I’m not feeling bad for killing some of my plants

Love when you share mistakes, makes me feel netter about my own. Can't wait to see how these turn out.
We all learn from each other. Keep doing you. Thank you for sharing.

Elephant ears are usually planted ring side up. When in doubt plant sideways. Holes are usually visible on the bottom. Bonny
Love ur videos, every days a school day. Thanks for sharing, mistakes are ok, thats how we learn.😊
Gardening is a crap shoot every year. Just part of it. We live and learn.
True…people don’t realize how expensive gardening is.
❤❤ ❤
I enjoy your videos. You are great. Keep it up.

I think all of those are ready to be potted up also. Bonny
Tomorrow tomorrow is the day. What time can I start ordering at midnight?😉
If everything goes to plan, it'll be open before midnight.
We are all human. We all have weeds. Over/under water
Need to pinch the impatiens!
Yep. They went from normal to stretch in 48 hours. I'll have to wait a little longer because there isn't much growth above the first set of true leaves.
When we do our online order wats the size of the pot?
Our online store opens April 1st for annuals. Which pot do you mean? In our online store, the pot size is listed.
I don’t see the pot size . I’m ordering petunias and geraniums
@@pokeer3005 They won't be available until tomorrow. We only have pre-planted combination baskets online right now.

Im confused, you run a nursery, but you dont know how to take care of seedlings
