Unlike the heavily trafficked tourist spots, Sikkim remains a tranquil haven, offering a serene escape with its heavenly beauty and picturesque landscapes. I yearn to spend 8-10 days thoroughly roaming around this enchanting state, immersing myself in its breathtaking outdoors. From the lush green valleys and snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas to the serene lakes and vibrant Buddhist monasteries, Sikkim's natural and cultural beauty is unparalleled. I envision myself trekking through its pristine forests, breathing in the crisp mountain air, and discovering hidden trails that lead to mesmerizing viewpoints. One of the most appealing aspects of Sikkim is its warm and welcoming people. I look forward to interacting with the locals, learning about their traditions, and experiencing their rich culture firsthand. Whether it's sharing stories over a cup of traditional butter tea or participating in local festivals, I know these interactions will be the heart of my journey. Once you reach Yumthang Valley.. Do down hill. Ask locals for the bridge, cross the bridge and walk along side the river, you will reach there. Start early from Lachung 😊👍.
