I used Padlet for the first time with my learners and I was able to to show them how they could leave comments, voice messages, pictures and videos thanks to your videos 😊.
Thanks Russell. I've not used Padlet yet, but that's all about to change! I particularly like how I, as a teacher, can filter content by giving approval first. My students are on the whole pretty sensible, but teenagers will be teenagers ;-) !
Welcome aboard! I have some new stuff coming out very soon. It might be worth signing up to the newsletter on my website www.teachertrainingvideos.com/sign-up.
It would be best to use a Google Form and share the link to a Google Form in the Padlet, that would work much better and probably easier than using a word file. If you do use Word it would have to be on online version.

Hey Russell, thanks for your video. I had a question about a snafu when I used this in my class recently. I had groups of students commenting on questions posed under a column. I was using a podium computer and also had an iPad with me. For some reason, I ended up only being able to see one of the group submissions on padlet (there were a total 21 groups) but I could see them on my iPad. Have you ever run into that?
Hi Russell. I have been using Padlet for a while now, we have our own school account, and some students cannot edit the texts they have written during the previous session. Any idea why this happens (and it happens very often)? Thanks.
Wow that seems really odd and has never happened to me. I don't think there is a time limit on Padlet, so I don't quite understand why. I will look into this but at the moment I can't help
Russell, every time I click to add an item in the timeline feature, all new posts appear above the timeline. How do I create new posts below the timeline? That is not happening naturally.
@@acdf27 Thank you for your reply Andrea. When you post in the timeline, are you able to alternate the posts both above the line and below the line? I am unable to do this. All of my posts appear above the line and I would like to alternate them. I don't know how. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I will try and look into this when I have time. Is it something to do with the screen size setting. You could try contacting Padlet. I like that view, I have used it a few times. Sorry I can't help more
Another great video! Thank you so much, Russell!
My pleasure!
Always interesting. Thanks
Always good to hear from you Diagne, glad it was useful.

A great video like all the previous ones. We really appreciate. Thanks again
Diagne, wow you watch all my videos.. amazing
@@ttvRussell Most of them. I love them. Thanks
Russell, thanks for this. Really informative. I've been championing your work ever since you visited Leicester College back in 09.
Wow! Thank you
Thanks again.
Always welcome
Thank you for the video. Is it possible to publish an editable word document onto Padlet so that Ss can download it, fill it in, and then upload it?

HI Russel. How did you create this video...with you talking in the foreground, and then something else going on in the background?

Russell, do you have a video for the students, to familiarise themselves with the App.
Hi Helen. You might want to share this one: ua-cam.com/video/X3Uf6pmpiG8/v-deo.html
@@ttvRussell Thank you Russell. My students were a bit lost.
Hi Russell, once you have archived the padlet or saved it as an image you can no longer edit it. Is that right?
Well you can unarchive and then edit or you can edit and then take another image of the edited version

Darren, I am sorry, I have no idea. The best way is to use a computer and work that way.

Do the students have to download the app to use it ? or just the Teacher
Helen, no they just click on the link it is browser based
@@ttvRussell Thank you Russell. I'm giving my first group class on monday.
I created a Padlet, it says that I can do 3 and then I have to pay.If a padlet is already from the gallery do I have to ask permission to re-used?
Save the padlet as an image or add it t your archive, then delete it and create another one. I worked like that for a long time and it is fine.

I actually ask my students to do the timeline and then they send me their links.

Thanks. What do you think about whiteboard.fi?
Yes it is a lovely tool, especially for young learners and was thinking about doing a video about it
@@ttvRussell thanks. I'd also love to see your tutorial on how to use wizer.me and classroomscreen.com effectively. Have a great weekend, amigo! 🤗
