I had this show on my recommend so often that I ended up putting it on my "to watch" list, even though I highly doubted I would ever watch it. Now, I definitely won't, lol
Vidar died by heart attack. Just as his family reported. Magne was "fighting" the Jutuls as an environmental activist. He did make real changes and we saw some of that work he was doing as well. Saxa took over and worked eliminated a lot of the company's waste. Everything else is Magne fantasizing his role. Still being a child and finally growing up at graduation and dropping the need of his Thor persona. I can't say I loved the ending, but I didn't find it confusing. What I found confusing is if the Jutuls were immortal giants were Saxa and Fjor permanent ageless students? That bothered me since the revelation of them being giants and this ending fixed it. In my own head canon, the electrician doesn't fall off the ladder. She makes her confession, and it is the final nail in the coffin for Magne's case.
