To grow a plant without soil is making a baby without the mother . In the name of Precision farming , we give calculated nutrition quantities . Its like human beings taking their required quota of vitamins/carbs/protein etc in the form of capsules . The gentleman said their product( one of them which has alkaloid) has 3 to 4 times quantity compared to the one that's naturally produced . This is what is called greed. Like how the Jersey and HF view came with lactating DNA of the pig to produce 20 litres milk per day. I run a 600 crore pharmaceutical business. And i am an organic farmer . So there is an understanding of both farming and science of it. We say in pharmaceuticals, Chemical equivalence is not bio equivalence . And bio equivalence is not therapeutic equivalence . There is no study on the nutritional value of these products And no data to deMonstrate or compare the nutrition from these plants and the one naturally grown. Fanciful to say the least
I would have liked this a few years ago but now I tend to think these approaches are part of the problem. We are not focusing on complete nutrition where micronutrients are small but very very important part. You simply cannot tranfer micro nutrient to plants without biological means which is the soil microbes. Do not just focus on volume and scalability, but focus on quality and final value of the product. Biological farming is the answer.
