Said it before and I’ll say it again, that mini is handier than pockets on a shirt!! Congratulations to Hunter and Anna Kate ahead of time!!
You’re spot on about a shop Tim, worked outside and on the ground for most of my adult life. Finally got the chance to build a 40x60 at the age of 55, man what a game changer!!
Good job Tim. I would have ripped half of the forms up trying to get that close with the holes. Now I have to add auger attachment and receiver hitch on the backfill blade to my list of wants for my mini ex.
Always a blessing to help others when possible 👍🏼
Nice work Tim
Looks like Hunter is going to have a really nice shop! I know he's excited as any man (young, or old) would be.
Looks like a nice start. He should enjoy for years to come.
Nice Work Tim, love the tilt bucket, best attachment i have
The mini ex seems to be quite a bit more efficient than a track loader when doing many auger holes. Don’t have to reposition every time, and not tearing everything up in the process. Nice.
It's good that they are close by so you can help them and they can help you.
Gonna be a nice size storage barn, good work grading the pad out Tim, looks good 💪🇺🇸
Good stuff Tim and Hunter, that is a decent looking shed there, fair play:):)
FWIW, I run a Mongo Attachments 50-inch tilt bucket on my u55-5 and could not be happier. The build quality and performance are premium. Talk to Jordan. He's a no bull$hit guy.
Smart man, the amount of money equipment cost, you might as well use it as much as you can.
I don't know much about construction either. We had a small 30'x40'x12' ceiling, pole barn built a few years ago. They put the 6"x6" posts 4' in the ground. Don't hold it against me, I'm in Central New Yorkistan (Syracuse area). We have frost and frozen ground most of winter. The floor is 5" thick.
Good job, thanks for the video.
May God bless anyone watching this video and reading this comment
It's a shame Hunter didn't go rent a 18" or 20" auger. Would have made it a lot easier on him. But he's young that manual labor doesn't bother him right now I guess. I help my kids the same way. You are right it's nice to be able to help.
The contractor building the shop will be the one making the holes larger.
Excavator makes it easy 👌
I am sure he appreciates it, and he will have story to tell your grandchild how you dug the holes and graded the shop floor..!
Tim, Can you please share what your self-leveling set up is that you're using and where I can purchase it?
You never know the whole situation. But for now I think they would have benefited from having Tim from the start.
I’d rather take out a bit more fill and put a few extra yards of concrete when it’s a shop floor.
What google review score did Hunter give the initial dirt shifting crew?
Holy shitballs Batman! That receiver is NO JOKE! I've been eying a Spectra GL722 and LR60 but that's one hell of an expense for a tree guy to take on for doing random drainage and grading jobs. You could pick up the dozer mounting rod and fix it right to the blade on the machine (probably even right to the hitch receiver!) for the kind of work you're doing there.
I have been meaning to make a bolt on pole that will go on the blade for these situations but just haven’t got it done yet.
Stevie wonder could see the high spots on that grading job
Man someone screwed up on that initial grading! That's a big money project there.
Do you have a video doing that attachment?
Nice that you can help Tim , must have been a boring job lol
Would putting the laser finder on a hitch receiver mount work?
Mind if I ask what bed you have on your truck? Great video and awesome setup!
Cm bed.
👍
How big is this? Looks really nice size. 👌
