Is that a custom plate for that jack or does harbor freight sell those for the Pittsburgh jacks. Im throwing together axles currently for my tj and that would be a godsend.
So the long part mounted to the jack with the pads that screw up and down is from Harbor Freight and the pieces that are on the pads with the V on top to catch axle tube are custom pieces that my buddy built to slide on to the pads.
@@SquatchyOffroad genius, I will definitely be looking at doing something similar for my jack. That would make it so much easier to move around the garage.
@@benjaminreinhardt259 Thanks Benjamin. I have to run them on the back with 2 1/2” coilovers for my setup so they hit at full flex. Since I run them on the back, I have to run small ones on the front to keep the track width the same. I have 2” on rear 1 1/2” on the front.
@@SquatchyOffroad Gotcha. Thank you for taking the time to explain that. I am slowly building up my jeep and plan to do a wonton swap one day. Looking to glean all of the knowledge I can.
@@ericterpstra4064 I would still have them if not for going to 43’s. We loved them and my buddy runs the 42’s on his jeep and loves them. They done good on and off the road.
I have a 04 tj and a 79 ford dana 60. I see your runnig the stock 6 mines a 5 speed what gear do you think would be a good combo im mostly running mud and trails not much rock crawling np 231 h.d. trans case. I really like your setup on that jeep just dont have that kind of money for what your doin. thanx bro.
@@zackeryeckenrod6549 If it was mine I would do 5:13 or 5:38. I have a buddy with a 04 TJ on 40’s with the 4.0, 5 speed and 231 case and he loves his all around with 5.38 that we put in his.

Jeep is looking good. Why did you run wheel spacers?

@@benjaminreinhardt259 Depending on how you set yours up and if you use a matching set of axles you may not need to run any spacers at all.
