I dont think id really call it a wj anymore at this point lol. I dont think itd go stock. Theyre great and i have three ofnits big brother xjs and Itd try like hell but i dont think so.
I was just there in almost exactly a year ago. 4 Jeeps, 3 with 40+ tires and 1 on 35's. Everyday we went out, we ran in to fallen trees blocking trails, some we could go around/over, others we had to back-up. None of us had chainsaws and the trees were big and long enough that winching wasn't much of an option. We stopped at Lion's Den, a couple of us were going to try it but after the drop there was a big tree that was down that we couldn't go under or over. We had to put it on our return bucket list. Since then, I vowed to that someone in the group would have a saw of some sort and when we make it back to Black Mountain we'll definitely have a chainsaw
Wow Matt , you should be proud man The Scorpion Crawler did AWESOME it did the best out of all the rigs. Now you have to bring the Comanche to Lions Den and try it lol. Thanks for the video bro 👍
Those 43-in Super Swampers are looking really good on the Scorpion. I like how that tire size and the rear steer allowed the Scorpion to slither through the rock garden, at the entry to Lions Den, and other obstacles on the trail, with relative ease, where others were winching through. Bumble's looking much better without the doors and rear hatch, more rock crawler looking. Losing 350 plus pounds of useless weight certainly didn't hurt.
i really like this channel, and i have seen every show, but i did have to unsubscribe because i was getting notifications for this channel *everyday* but most of the time it was just a post that reminded us to watch an old show, or just mentioning a memory of an old episode. everyday it was a post from bleepinjeep, but in realty there was only a new show once a week. i am an old timer that doesn't need to see a social media post everyday to remind me to watch something. I will watch a new show when it is released, but i do not need to have one channel at the top of my video feed every morning to only be reminded of old content.
That trail is easy peasy. I’ve done it in my stock JKu sport, on 31s with no lockers! 😂 But seriously, that’s a hardcore trail! That drop in lions den is no joke! And the section after is gnarly as well! Hell of a video guys.
Someone needs to make some trading cards of all these rigs with some specs like name, original vehicle, year, wheel base, wheel size, axles, etc....that would be fun to collect them across all of these awesome channels!
A collision repair specialist told me that all new cars with the windshield glued in is engineered as structure for the body since they dont have full chassis anymore, and i know a lot of cracked windshields are from rocks flicking up of the tires, but maybe good to beef up the window frames to prevent crackage. 2 cents given
@bleepinjeep could you make a quick video with one of your old milestar Patagonias I would like to see how much I can grove down to the carcasses but I do not want to go down to the wires on my tires
You will love those SX’s. May want to air down more until the break in. First trip I was at 3.5 psi, next 5 for a couple trips, then 7, now 9. Hope to see you out on the trails again sooner than later.
You guys need to get more of those Moab dudes out here to do trails like this! I have never understood why Moab was such a Mecca when east coast trails are like this.
Had to come back and re-watch Josh total his jeep (for what looks like maybe the second or third time) 😂❤ Waiting impatiently for the next Dodge XJ video 🎉 Edit: 36:49 - Think small thoughts 😂😂😂😂
That was either some brilliant driving or some brilliant editing. Either way, great vid. BTW, when we wheel in the Pacific Northwest we always we ALWAYS take a chainsaw.
So much better than Mile Star tires. OMG, not sure why you Tubbers push those crappy Mile Star tires!!! Major Upgrade! Throw the plugs out and get some Axle spares. 😂
I cant imagine a 90" wheelbase or whatever it is coming down the drop in... it would porbably clear the obstacles and land at the bottom of the mountain, lol
You guys need to wheel with some safety glasses on, Paul from fab rats, got mud in his eye today too. Something that might enhance your vision and keep the mud out.
Man I've been running non stickies on my jku daily driver for a year now, not comfortable on the road but shines in the woods when I retire it for a trail rig I'll switch to stickies
talking about being overbuild for a trail. i can drive up there with my stock volvo, okey i talk to soon around 22min that looks crazy but still like to take my volvo c304 there
Can you please help me find the relative static ground clearance a vehicle would have with Dana 44 axles front and rear and 30 inch tires. ( I realize that the vehicle would or could gain alot of ground clearance once shocks and suspension is added to it). Or how I could calculate it out for myself. I'm guessing that there is a calculator on the internet somewhere. Or a basic formula that I could use if I knew it. Thanks
@@bleepinjeep Just cringing and sympathetic response I guess. Would love to do big stuff like this in my Xj but she's my only wheels and more of a higher end over lander than a true rock crawler.
@@bleepinjeep Love your content, planing on getting a comanche after I'm done with my Xj and going full rock crawler with that rig. The fabrication content has also been extremely helpful many thanks 🙏
My brother and I were out there willing one year, and rolled his 4Runner on 38s down one of them mountains. We were lucky to come out of it alive
Mat has entered a new world now that he has a real set of tires. He will never go back to the sand tires.
He was only running them because they were free!
Never thought a WJ would be able to navigate stuff like that. What you both have been able to accomplish with Bumble is quite impressive!
I dont think id really call it a wj anymore at this point lol. I dont think itd go stock. Theyre great and i have three ofnits big brother xjs and Itd try like hell but i dont think so.
WJ's can do anything!!!
2:54 - You know why that windshield cracked more, don’t ya? The stickies!!! 😂😂 All the torques are making your chassis twist jkjk
Where you was saying it was very majestic. As whitewater kayakers we call that Jah Light

This is like the Olympics of off-roading. Crazy stuff. Great video.
That Trail is completely gnarly !!
Without a serious built up rig you would never get out and break or come out riding a frame. 😂
Somebody needs to take some paint & clean up that rock 25:58
The Scorpion looked unstoppable with the 43 stickys!!
Great video! Such a cool place to wheel. No way I'd ever tackle that trail but your video gave a great view of it.

ya I think Josh is gonna like the performance much better, not only the weight but being able to see better.
i just can’t understand why don’t ya have wayyy more subscribers love your videos!

the scorpion window laster for years until I got a rock chip in it. then all hell broke loose, lol
I would love to build my own version of Scorpion some day. Maybe I’ll call mine Sub-Zero.
yes, I love it! or Kitana or Jade

The sticky TSL's are a major improvement in both looks and performance!!
Josh needs a checklist for prepping for one of these outings. Item #1 fuel, item #2 spare tire etc, etc.
You guys did really well Lion's den is a challenging trail
That was either some brilliant driving or some brilliant editing.
Either way, great vid.
BTW, when we wheel in the Pacific Northwest we always we ALWAYS take a chainsaw.
makes for more of an adventure when you dont have a chainsaw 😆
We were there a few weeks ago and stayed In The cabins. We only saw three other full size rigs the whole weekend. Taken over by RZRs
dang that sucks, gonna have to take weekday vacations from now on, dang RZR's
See ya there, on the next one 👍😎✊
The Scorpion is and amazing build. absolutely love it.
man i love josh he's such a funny guy
Amazing wheeling video. That’s one mean trail!
Hard to beat super swampers, the bias 4 ply sidewalls really hold up to sidewall cuts vs radials
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
Great trail. My buddy took a rzr 800 through a couple years ago. Lol
Looks like a great time guys 👍👍
Couple of us did lions den in our side by sides last year. It’s a nasty one for sure!
The new tires seem to hook up good but I still think the rear steer gets the w
That has to be the trail I have seen and you all had very capable reags
So much better than Mile Star tires. OMG, not sure why you Tubbers push those crappy Mile Star tires!!! Major Upgrade! Throw the plugs out and get some
Axle spares. 😂
Lion's Den is always fun!
Yeah, that Jeep of his is no longer what it used to be. That thing was really nice.
Careful Matt everyone knows you'll never leave harlen alive 😅😅😅. I wanna go play on those trails
Saludos bleep ustedes si que ledan duros a sus maquinas y siempre termina el TRAIL bendiciones 🇵🇷🇵🇷✌️
That is an awesome trail! 😎
About time you got the mall crawler radials off your rig.
I immediately felt a difference when I went to TSL Stickies. I kept breaking stub shafts but Chromolly fixed that
love em so far!
28:08 It's like the trees and the rocks are giving birth to a jeep.
Bfg’s and Treps are great tires but in the south it’s hard to beat a TSL SX!
That rock at 35:20 says something funny lol
I almost didn't get between the tree and the rock in my daily f150, but somehow, I made it through the den.
Best channel ever!
Mat. After seeing you on these tracks, i would love to see you on 24h hell and back😅😅
ohh its happening, we did the first one and now I'm back!
A stock samurai will just slip right through there…🤣🤪. That trail is nuts.
I cant imagine a 90" wheelbase or whatever it is coming down the drop in... it would porbably clear the obstacles and land at the bottom of the mountain, lol
I think it’s time Josh added B and C pillar bar to the exocage of that rig; not a lot to protect him if he goes over on his side on those big boulders
there are interior roll cage pillars on B and C. He'd be fine as long as he keeps the arms in.
I was never this titled, but unlike the towers I’m still bricked up.
Josh needs half doors.
All that Kadzu puts a tear in my beer
Check out our latest video for more kudzu 😏
Great video guys!

Back to super swampers! I've been waiting on that
loving it so far!
Man I've been running non stickies on my jku daily driver for a year now, not comfortable on the road but shines in the woods when I retire it for a trail rig I'll switch to stickies
now that is a messed up gnarly trail where the tree is blocking it
Of course, there will always be that person that says my Miata can do that. Bahaha!
Josh just needed to add a little drama to the video...lol
No spare tire get yourself some glue treds, I’ve seen them work in more than one application so I got some myself.
hmmm, where did you hear about that?? ua-cam.com/video/WyCGiWqg-EU/v-deo.html
I work on some of these trails not the side your on now the evarts side 😊
Best wheeling EVER
My favorite trail. The fool that painted the graffiti on that rock should be banned for life from Black Mountain.
talking about being overbuild for a trail. i can drive up there with my stock volvo, okey i talk to soon around 22min that looks crazy but still like to take my volvo c304 there
Lets set a date and I'll film you taking it through the lions den!
Matt says what do you think should I change the battery guy's?
😂😂My response stop bitchin...
And change your battery!😂😂
never know, you might miss something good if I change the batteries prematurely 😄
That place you better have rock sliders on your roof . And side , And where normally they go .
Make sure the Throttle cable gives you full throttle : ask me how I know!
PLan....Call Matts Off Road Recovery, they use freedom winch lines!
Seems like you are all running high tire pressure. Is there any reason why aside from a little extra clearance?
Matt that was a great Marlin voice you did when Josh was attempting that hill!
gonna have to go back and look for that...
Ummm bro!! That's not even a Hill! We call that a slight grade here in AZ
Josh and his smoke machine 😂
That’s a scary drop
Yall are nuts!
Do u guys use portals on those insane machines ?
When did Cummins come out with that engine? Never heard of her, butt...I'm not a diesel guy. 😉😂
Totally random comment but everything I hear harlan Kentucky I think off justified. Should build some half doors for Josh’s jeep
Josh took the doors off his rig. He doesn't know the meaning of finesse!
too many horsepressures!
You need the ONX guy to ride with you. His hair makes all the shots look steeper
You mean Ian Johnston?

43 Stickies FTMFW!!
Cana Sherp climb those Hills?
Well, are they better than the treps?
That's the scariest trail.
Somebody obviously broke down and was very bored there at the tree and the rock.
12:15 Очень красиво!
35:05 Круто! Молодец!
I just got my 2024 ZR2. Totally blow you guys out of the water, out road you any day. LOL, JK!!! NOT!!!!! Bad ass rigs. Looks so fun. Great video.
have you heard about Hillbilly trails in dorton ky
You big tease 😂
