It is necessary! It's part of the terms and conditions of the contract you signed with your B1 training that, if you want to teach Zumba, you are required to pay the monthly ZIN membership. Furthermore, if you teach Zumba without the ZIN membership, you might get reported by other ZINs and get contacted by Zumba's legal department...lots of drama and, in my opinion, such a terrible way of conducting business within the Zumba community! It's much easier to accept the terms of becoming a Zumba instructor 🙂 The good thing is that the ZIN membership gives you every month lots of songs and choreographies for your Zumba classes, so it does give you back!
Is there some songs you recommend that only have a few different steps? I have been trying to find easier songs for my first class but struggling to find many.
I would 1) stick to ZIN Volumes salsa, because usually commercial salsa songs are very complicated in structure. 2) Merengue as well might be worth keeping from ZIN volumes. 3) Reggaeton (and pop in general) tend to have the structure ABABCB; not always, but many. 4) On my channel you'll find lots of choreos on the easier side, because I don't like to have thousands of steps, lol! Let me know how you go!
I ended up using Pegate for merengue. I knew it from a previous instructor so it was easy to learn. I used vivir mi vida for my salsa. That seemed to have a pretty simple structure to it. Thankyou for the advice!
You are such a lovely spirit
Doneeee😂 and im happy watching you... from Philippines☺️
Thanks for this video! It's really helpful. Is the ZIN access absolutely necessary? What happens if you aren't paying monthly.
