- This time we managed to make a mini chain saw which is used for pruning and cutting wood that are not relatively wide. The advantage of this tool compared to a pruner is that it can cut quite thick branches.

2 things,
less aggressive chain, higher RPM. figure out a way to get those RPMs up without losing too much torque and this will me a much easier to use and more effective tool.
And lubrication of the chain/bar :-)
Chain seemed dull to me.
Yeah I wondered if that is just too little RPM. Would need to use higher voltage but then the motor might overheat.
Could gear it up a bit, but not much without a redesign.
24v in that motor!!!
for best cut results, always make your first cut a shallow cut on the bottom of the branch, then cut from the top connecting to the bottom cut. this will prevent the branch from ripping its bark off and causing un wanted damage to the tree
Needs more chain speed, but other than that, it's pretty cool, and already perfectly suitable for smaller applications and AvE-style unboxings. Good work!
A lot of vibrations and the chain need oil where it works
It's also going backwards. It should pull the workpiece into the buck teeth.
its weak, blunt and struggles with small branches. a fail this time.
It needs more power, higher rpm, chain should be tighter, lacks proper lubrication.
Good idea but it needs some tweaking.
That's why it's called mini
Sure it is way to weak to make fireqood with it. But you can power it with the 12v plug from your car. So with a longer sword you could cut down a tree that fall on the street.
@@aokiaoki4238 its not even mini with that fat chain
@@cekpi7 yeh the chain is far too slack
Every FAIL deserves RESPECT
“Hon, I think it’s about time we prune the tree.”
“Sure dear, let me just whip up a mini-chainsaw...”

Can someone call "this old tony", he would love this!
Or AvE!
They should collaborate on a project
Or Made In Poland
except Make it Extreme actually makes things
This Old Tony only talks about his tools
@@marc_frank This old tony also builds things, but he doesnt build just to build. Only stuff that is actually useful.
A lot of his content has an educational touch.
Making things isnt a competition of who can make more things.
That is so crazy that it's actually awesome!! Personally I would look in to using a chain and guide bar from something with a narrower guide bar and smaller teath on the chain. You should get a much smother cut and faster cut as each tooth has to remove less material. Normally the smaller gauge chain has more teeth, which is why it would be quicker. 👍
wonderful invention bravo thank you I wish you good luck
Great success, looks great, much more reliable and servicable than bosch's nanoblade.
A work of art
i think a thinner bar and chain with a larger roth count would help
I just found this channel and I'm not sure which is more impressive - the awesome build or the top-tier professional camera operation. Great work!
The best channel to do it yourself
It's so beautiful and wonderful, just awesome and nothing else.
Nice !!
Really enjoy the showcase of manufacuring. Very enjoable to watch. The effectiveness of the cutting with this might be debatable but i still enjoyed the video.
Great job
I am officially intrigued. The possibilities, the variations, the improvements.
The chainsaw, the most dangerous tool still in use. Why not build your own, without all the normal safety features!
Friggin genius!
Cool and terrifying at the same time. Thanks for sharing.
Man, I love this idea, just needs to be a bit more powerful and I can use it as a back up saw when I’m climbing. Smaller, lighter and more compact are key if you spend your day in a tree.
I’m here for the “portable chainsaw” 😂
I know, I hate having to plug in my two Stokes to the house lines for mixed gas
A nice and practical machine, who would have thought that a simple wiper motor could make such a good chainsaw
Well. Not enough rpm, for a chainsaw, and you messed up the blade design, thats why it's so jumpy.
Fallout 3 "The Ripper." Finally it's a reality. I'm glad it's electric instead of gas powered.
hopefully it does not bug out like the Fallout one where you can hear it from across the map
Bosch actually makes small chainsaws like this one :)
@@cekpi7 Yeah, but the Bosch one is too small. The ripper used regular sized chain.
I would think if you sharpen it it would cutt much better. Otherwise it a werry cool thing nice work 👍👍👍💪🇩🇰
And where is the chain lubrication system? Or do you think it doesn't need to be lubricated cause low speed?
it wont overheat with this low rpm....this was built only for the video I think.
Sorry, but just not in the same line as many of your other quality builds. No lube, chain is way too slow so easy for kickback, no. I skip this one...
You can't skip that. Praise the saw !
@@Kawka1122 ,😆
you are clearly very skilled with an angle grinder
Nice job 👍
never knew window motors had that much torque
Thumbs up on the build, double thumbs up for no cats being harmed.
very cool. looks like something from MadMax
Amazing job
I've never had any use for a chainsaw, ever........ UNTIL NOW 😂 . I wonder how quickly this will destroy my kitchen cupboards.
cool saw the cat was beautiful!!!! love the cat!!!
Just bought a 20v chainsaw like this from China. It's a great tool but what I've found is having a single switch means it turns on when moving around and there's no protection from kickback.
Great project! I really like the compact design. Its amazing how you can convert old staff to tools.
You should cut the drags down on the chain and take advantage of the torque.
I like how your mind works man, thanks for the videos
0:54 My man using Lidl tools! Honestly I'm always really impressed with them for the price.
You mean that spanner? That's not parkside, I think it says poweren or ish
@@leftthenright88 powerfix, I think it's another "brand" they have as well as parkside
@@rexaitken you might be right. Can't say I see clearly anything after "power" but I'll take your word. I also use a couple of lidl tools, for hobby wise they're pretty good. I used to have also power tools from parkside but since they weren't making them with brushless motors (now they do) I switched to Ryobi 18v tools.
The speed is not enough
Thank god someone invented portable chainsaws now we can take th into the woods and harvest trees
Don't forget your little squirt gun for the chainsaw bar!
Like Xano said! We need This Old Tony! A collaboration would be pretty nice! Or Alec Steele!
"MAD MAX" ..i like it😮
a sharp hatchet is better imo but that's dam cool as are all your projects 👍
nice tool man👌🥋
Again you've done it and made it entertainment and practical
I would be there my friends to play with you on this amazing projects! You're the best !! I' ve in mind the name for this "THE CHAINSAW GUN" so sweet...
Nice 👍 work 👍 good 👍 work fucther work 👍
Not sure about this one, seems a bit underpowered, but a clever idea and as usual well figured out and made.
Next time:
Shoulder Mounted Lube Squirter with Tactical Laser and Night Vision Monocular.
Wow great
It cuts wood like a beaver, perhaps not with the same efficiency but with the same finish.
U have something better?
before paint; it's look like weapons in post apocalyptic games :) after paint; "skin unlocked!" :D
Nice work! Pretty amazing you were able to make something worse than a sawzall in every possible way.
Yeni vidyonu ne zaman cekcen. Çok iyi yapıyorsun. Gördüm. Tümkisilerden daha iyi yapıyom. Muhteşem yapiyorsun
i think The chain has no support right where it needs it the most where you usually bite a log with the chainsaw teeth. should have left a bit more meat there. Awesome conversion cool stuff
Can see from the intro the chain is sharpened incorrect or depth gauge too deep.
I think that doesn't really matter at this point
@@bedabene It really hurts performance in this case.
Super ❤❤❤
Very nice video, as always! But pruning shears are quicker, more efficient and don't require batteries. But hats off to an awesome build.
Very nice, I think it needs higher rpm and an auxiliary handle for 2 handed use
Tell you what; the concept is rough, *but the idea/theory is brilliant, and very useful!*
I'd look into getting it patented before Stihl/Husqvarna make a version, and do it for you.
Bruh I suggest you are cutting one tree and planting 2 tree
Love from india
Very nice
Nice build. Some thing I would not make, but gives me ideas for future builds. Keep on making it your way...
That is badass
That is amazing what you made there an it was great to see it there 👍👍
Very extreme
The cuts look like somebody went after it with a dull beaver, but it's still fun to watch you come up with the crazy shit you come up with. Well done!
Boleh di coba nih
Great full
Wow amazing ideas
I like the way you built it
More like your older videos
Ok, for those branches some big sheers would do the same job, quicker and less noisy, without any battery needed.
Btw. shouldn't the chain run the other way? Now you have to constantly push against the cutting force, if it were reversed it could sheer more easily between the chain and the spikes of the base.
if you see at the end of the video, the sawdust is coming out on the correct side, if it was reversed, you would have the problem you are describing
@@HowieNOR you're right, I let myself get fooled by the shutter effect
more speed great job
Nice work !!
He's like the neighbor on Home Improvment... You could never see his face. "Hi-dee-ho neighbor".. Well done.
Bosch Nanoblade - make it extreme edition
Love it!
Next Sawmill chainsaw
Amazing 🤩
nice job
If you want to lose your fingers build your own chainsaw
Dull Chain 10/10
Love this channel, and I love your design genius, but this cuts terribly. Idk if the motor speed is too slow or if it's just an extremely dull chain but I think this deserves a V2!
FUCK YES, THIS IS WHAT I WANTED BOSCH NANOBLADE TO BE
Hold a second... be right back ,,, going to the Junk Yard ,,,, Bravo,,, love the videos
awesome
How can you buy one if you can make one ..love the build bro thankz for sharing it
ah yes the good ol ripper
Amazing.... Great job...
