I have written this sleep hypnosis for deep sleep session to help you wind down and relax at the end of the day, calm your busy mind and ease into a full night of uninterrupted sleep. Very often, our minds tend to race in the evenings and just before bed. The hypnotic language and the guided visualisations and imagery in this video will help distract your conscious mind and help you stop overthinking so that you can more easily drift into deep sleep.
Although this hypnosis is set against the sound of gentle ocean waves, it is also available with alternative background options.

This track blends guided sleep hypnosis, guided meditation and positive suggestions and/or imagery. It is designed to help soothe and quieten your mind, as well as to reduce the harmful effects of overthinking at night. When you are able to prevent your mind from wandering into the future or into the past - especially when doing so creates anxiety and feelings of unease - you are able to access your subconscious mind. Your subconscious control mind is far more amenable to positive and encouraging suggestions when you are in the trance state.
This audio track daily is safe and suitable for frequent listening - as many times as you wish. Since hypnosis helps induce positive behavioural change, a different version of you will be listening each time and so your subconscious will enjoy a different experience on each occasion you tune in.
When listened to on a regular basis, this hypnosis session can help reduce anxiety, stress and other stress-related issues, such as insomnia, OCD and depression. Also, when you have a full night of quality sleep and rest, you will be better prepared to face life's day-to-day challenges in a more positive, solution-focused way. I’m here to tell everyone that this works. I think the hardest part for people is to allow their minds to let go of all the thoughts and retrospect of a stressful day and allow the soothing words to wash over you. Ive been under chronic stress for 6 years now and it has affected my health so badly that i dont even recognize myself anymore, ive been losing hair, every muscle in my body is twisted and knotted from constantly being in freeze mode, my blood pressure is extremely high and have had palpitations, ive also been dealing with on and off insomnia, diagnosed with narcolepsy type 2, so its beyond frustrating when i cant get my nap each day, which i need to function, so im very thankful for these meditations !!!

Having had chronic insomnia since I was a child (I used to get out of bed at night and read or write poetry, sitting on the bathroom floor so the light wouldn't bother anyone else)I have spent a considerable amount of time searching for sleep hypnosis recordings that would allow me to get out of my own way and get to sleep; I have listened to all of the top hypnosis artists that fit my personal preferences(male voice, resonance, cadence and of course the appropriate accent: us American ladies do LOVE a deep voice and a gentle accent😁) and yours is the only one that checks all the boxes for me. I am so grateful for the peaceful, relaxing sessions that you spend your time so generously to provide, and the results speak for themselves: I have heard the first 6-7 minutes of every single session you have posted for sleep hypnosis, because I'm always asleep by then! Please keep them coming; I have become so reliant upon them that I will often listen throughout the day, whenever I begin to feel stressed or overwhelmed and need to take a step back and start again. I have spent thousands of dollars on tests and useless, sometimes dangerous prescriptions, when all I needed was for you to talk me down from the ledge and tell me, ever so politely, to just be quiet and go to sleep!🙃 I can't thank you enough, and I can't wait to explore this concept with you!

I hadn't really thought about specifics but there are a lot of options; anything from fairy tales to Dickens, Mark Twain, Oxford classics or just about any of the great poetry from both sides of the pond. I have been a poetry freak ever since I stumbled across Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" when I was 7 or 8 and decided to memorize it for fun;when I was 10 or 11 my teacher compiled a book of my own poetry which she published and printed at her own expense. So embarrassing for a pre-teen girl who preferred to fly under the radar...😬😳(even if it did help me to end up with a scholarship offer from Oxford...a story for another day 🙃)
In all honesty, you could read from a dictionary and I would listen quite contentedly.😋
Don't laugh now, but here is just one of my myriad of silly quirks: every time I read poetry (and sometimes prose), no matter where the writer hails from, I always (ALWAYS) do it with a British accent!🤣🤣🤣

Thank you so much for this. I've had a very difficult week at work and with family, and my stress levels are at a new high. I find it difficult to sleep soundly. And last night I made a huge mistake by checking my work emails right before heading off to bed. Of course there was more drama and negativity that launched my blood pressure and adrenaline in the middle of the night. I was angry with myself for doing something that could never be helpful to a restful night's sleep. I tried several meditations that I've used before to relax my body, but I was still wide awake. Luckily for me, youtube suggested you and this video. I don't know how long it took, but the suggestion to remember when I was swept away, content to sleep, took me away to a memory of my sweet corgi who I miss very much (he is with my son's family now) and how he would snuggle up into the crook of my arm, ready to sleep. You led me to a very content and happy place where I was able to fall asleep. No tossing and turning, my mind not returning to the frustrations of work, I was able to sleep soundly for 7 hours. have a deadline for work today and i was so stressed last night i couldn't fall asleep! by 3am i started thinking i should just get up cuz ill be worthless IF i fall asleep then ill sleep too long and be all groggy...decided to give it a go for just a couple hours, put earphones in and did a quick search for binaural music which tends to calm me. THIS popped up in my feed. clicked and laid down thinking, nah this talking aint gonna do it. my mind was racing! i dont even remember starting the talk down!
how did i go from.. maybe itll help you get just an hour or so, this isn't gna work, youre gna sleep through alarm, just a few minutes of rest so youre not a basketcase in the morning will help, you gotta stop this sleep pattern, the talking is gonna be too distracting, why can't you just turn everything off and go to sleep,this talking is never gonna work....boom! hour and half later, hubbys alarm going off!

I have listened to other sleep hypnosis and they are good but I'm glad I found you. With most sleep hypnosis I would fall asleep quick but wake up before the end and then couldn't get back to sleep. This one was perfect. I woke up and it was over and I went right back to sleep. Thank you.

This helped me. I don't know how but I got a wave of sleepiness and my eyes got heavy after 10 minutes. Mind you I did have to trust and relax, breathing and focussing on the rhythm really helped as well.

Your intro was nearly 8 minutes...it would be nicer to be getting into sleep sooner. Maybe it's part of the power of suggestion hypnosis is based on 🤔
Try not to think of it as intro, rather the first part of the relaxation. These sessions are written for people with varying experience of hypnosis so I like to take a little time to ease people into the sessions. I started working the night shift when i broke up w my ex. I thought I could pass my days and nights feeling more distractive. I am still struggling to get a hang of things. Of living this new life. So right now I wanted to take a nap but I need hipnosis in order to do. This is the first time I get tl this youtuuber. I started to relax but I started to feel turned on. But I was like nah, calm down. Go to sleep. But I started listenibg and letting myself go, without any judgement. Ho estly, I hadn't had an orgasm in a lobg ass gime! But I Jist met myself Go and I was doing things that I had never done. It was amazing!! The craziest this is that we were Sooo insync. I have a new question (sorry, I warned you that I ask a lot of questions and am generally annoying). I have tried a wide variety of sleep files from a wide variety of people and a wide variety of styles. No matter what I do or don't do, I can not shift from deep trance to actual sleep. I have a hard enough time doing that anyway, I have tried every single over the counter sleep aid on the planet with no help. There wasn't much of a question there. Why is transitioning into sleep so difficult for some people (it's not just endless mental chatter either. I can, for the most part, turn that off now). Why does that little switch from one state to another not really work properly? Then there's the whole not staying asleep thing. I know you're not a sleep expert, I'm just curious.
Hi Bella, thanks for your question. Perhaps a clue lies in its wording. "I can't" and "I can not" and "I have tried". When you constantly tell yourself, you can't do something, guess what happens? I'm not saying this is the solution but if you start to tell yourself that you can sleep, that you're good at falling asleep, that you do so easily, you might notice a difference. Just a thought. Nobody ever achieved a goal by telling themselves they couldn't do it. My best, Nick
I've been trying to reprogram my brain for...I've lost count. I know my wording sucks, but that comes from thoughts first and I'm having a ridiculously difficult time doing that. It's pretty much a constant thing. So I just feel like a constant mess.

@@jasminep.9860, I'm not sure why UA-cam isn't telling me when people leave me comments. I'm just seeing this now. So far low dose prozac and deep breathing in moments of stress are what I've been depending on. If I come across anything helpful, I'll let you know.

Did not work for me. Too much talking. I am trying to fall asleep, not think. I want to stop thinking and go on autopilot. 😔 I probably am one of the types hypnosis does not work on.
Hypnosis is talking, otherwise it’s just music. You don’t have to listen actively. You can let yourself follow the words however you so choose. And all hypnosis is self hypnosis, so if you tell yourself it won’t work, it won’t. Try to change your mindset so that you trust and expect it to work. Hope that helps. Nick
