Data analysis is a process involving the collection, manipulation, and examination of data for getting a deep insight. Data analytics is taking the analyzed data and working on it in a meaningful and useful way to make well-versed business decisions.
Manipulation is unethical boss. With this mindset you can never be a good data analyst.

In a nutshell, Business AnalyST is more of communicating decisions across various stake holders whereas Business AnalyTICS is into technical platform where the person will be part of team who develops solutions
Analyst path will lead to strategic roles like CEO whereas analytics will endup in CTO
Both are crucial, wht to go depends on where you wanna reach.
Analyst would need strong communication and perfect timesense to take right decisions, the other would need strong understand of tech plats like programming, validation n testing and deployment.
