#BusinessAnalyst #DataAnalyst - Наука та технологія
Thank you Chandoo for so nicely explaining about these two most important analyst roles. It's really very clear and beneficial to someone considering career in this area! Kudos! 😊👍
You are welcome Vijay 😀
@@chandoo_ you are missing the biggest point, there are only 85,000 regular H-1B jobs and very few of them are for business analyst or data analyst, most being for software developer, so if you want to maximize your H-1B opportunities, your primary focus you would think would be software development however there is unlimited number of H-1B research jobs, and they don't need software develop or is it in research they need data analysts. So to maximize your H1B opportunities best to get a master's degree in data science or business analytics, with electives in software development and information technology so that you can maximize your H-1B job opportunities. After you have your H-1B job you can take additional certificates in whatever you want to learn and do. You could study business analytics or business analyst but if you don't have a job, who cares?

How did you join Da after Ba
I completed my B.A.(English) last year..Which further study (masters) should I opt, if I want to make career as B.A. or D.A.?

Hey, I am also willing to switch from Business analyst to Data analyst
Can you help me out, from where should I start?
wow, what an amazing breakdown, as an introvert , I needed to know this before making a career decision. Thank you for including these.
I really appreciate your efforts to serve the people in need of these technology skills
Thanks Chandoo.. That was an awesome video and a good simple explanation. Understood the difference between these 2 roles. Keep it going mate.
Thanks for this video, I'm sure it is very rare to get a simple and clear explanation like you did, wish you to continue this bro....
You might have just helped me shape my career goals better, Purna. Thanks so much.
This was so helpful and very well explained. Thank you so much!
Awesome!! the reason i say awesome is because of the simplicity with which you delivered all the points!! one of the few channels which i subscribed halfway through the video :)
thanks againf or the explanation!!
Perfect difference between DA & BA.
Thank you so much Sir.!
Excellent resource; I will use this to gear up for my next job search soon.
I'm here because my position seemed to blur the lines between ba vs da. This confirms it. I perform both descriptions and I have zero complaints because I'm in the growth zone and crushing it. I'm also an introvert and its one of the reasons why I chose this career path. I like how my job blends the roles because I get to switch focus as needed. I started in Feb and barely understood powerbi and now I'm doing api calls and sentiment analysis etc. I love having the ability to get the answers people need and then turn around and advice on the optimal route forward.
How did you get started in your role? What did you learn to prepare you for it?
@@Pattersm networking, internal referral, and general familiarity with the position requirements. Oh and showing genuine interest in the role (asking good questions and exhibiting enthusiasm). That was what made me stand apart from the rest per my manager.
Thanks you. I'm currently both a business analyst and a data analyst.
I really like your hat idea creativity on BA and DA explanation.
I will continue to follow your channel... The role play on your video tuitorial, is again another excellent input to the community.
Thank you and cheers for all the great sharing..
Great video, thank you! Things are more clear now.
I greatly appreciate this helpful detailed out explanation of these two roles. Thank you!

Intersting comparison! Thanks for the discussion. Thumbs up!!
Thanks Chandoo for clarifying the difference between BA & DA
Thank you so much Chandoo for this nice explanation about BA and DA.
Can you please make a video about Financial Analyst and what skill required for that.
very informative and detailed, thank you! Also, your hair is fantastic.
More on DA, I think you really have to be equipped with in depth knowledge in different platforms. But for us to be good at it, we have to be good technically, and presenting it to non-technical people. When chandoo means good visual sense is the ability to anticipate what you're customer needs. How should it look like, what is the purpose of that Dashboard. And usually behind those very dynamic dashboard is pains in building it on the backend. If you like thriving for those challenges then DA is your career path. 😁 Another challenge I think is to check your data, check the possible combinations, and test it. Try, fail, errors, debugs, but making it run in the end is very fulfilling. 😅 I know DAs would know what I mean. 😅
Thank you very much. It was brief and very clear.
This is a great explanation for BA vs DA. Thanks lot. Great video.
Thank for explaining for in short and simple way
Thanks for sharing the experience. This would help me alot. We could easily understand the difference and help me to select the correct path for the career. keep doing :)
Thanks .. appreciate . It will helps to clear all doubts .
Thank you so much fnr explaining so well 😊😊 I'm an introvert and in a business analyst role which I'm not comfortable with.. it feels really good to know there's another option - data analyst. 😁
Just a question? What qualifications did you have? Do you have a masters degree? I’m currently looking for one of these positions

I'm an introvert too, I'll work on to become a Data Analyst.
Thank you very much for explaining! I am studying Data Analysis, but also got offered a Business Analyst's job position. And I needed to understand the difference, your video helped me a lot!
Have you decided already? Having the same dilemma right now. Thanks!
@@GianChan Hi! Ir now started a work as a BA while still doing a DA course. As a BA I get to read client's documents, draw process drawings, describe processes and learning much about information systems and IT. In the BA course I get to work with data in databases and sheets and draw graphs. In both cases I need to present findings and solutions for the client, as well as use visuals and make presentations. If you like numbers and discoveries, go for DA. If you like working with people and organize processes and IT, go with BA. :)
@@ZannaLis thank you for this! BA requires more soft skills, right? This is one of my weaknesses since I’m an introvert.
@@GianChan yes, manu meetings with klients and team to discuss processes
Thanks for the information.

Thanks bro for drawing a line between both of them. Get explainer video. 😉
If your an introvert, being a BA is still fine, its the Project Manager that needs to be an extrovert. I work as a BA and really not a great meeting leader, but i have the tech skills to communicate about the tech stuff
Excellent stuff.
