It’s a great movie, coming from another Christian. No promotion of bad morals or disobedience, & if anything, promotes humility & accountability when we make mistakes (shown when Riley apologizes to her OG friends for not being on their team like she promised she would). 💯💕
Totally. I appreciated the morals it promoted. I liked that there’s no real “villain,” just people (humans and emotions) learning to better understand each other and work together.
Except that in the end, it promotes idolatry of self, or accepting the good and bad as good. It depicted emotions like anxiety and envy as good, when in reality, those are sin
Early Pixar was consistently great, but haven’t been as good since the first Inside Out film. The early positive reviews had me optimistic though, and I’m glad it turned out to be good. Not as good as the classic stuff, but definitely better than the recent Pixar films.
@@TheCollisionbmi glad you enjoyed! Keep up the great work. I believe God is using you to great works with this channel. Continue the hood fight with reaching people through this gift
I need to watch Soul again. I remember it being pretty good and enjoying it. Wasn’t a big fan of Incredibles 2 though, but it’s also been a long time since I’ve seen it
I enjoyed this movie and out-laughed the kids as a grown man in the theater, and I think this is a great movie. As a sequel though… I think it plays it too safe and I guess I wanted them to experiment more. Like I feel it rehashes the same message as the last one, just replace Sadness with Belief. Like Toy Story 4 rehashes similar plot points but it goes into a completely new direction, whereas I feel like this movie just ends the same. I do like the ideas it brings like beliefs and how she gains a more complicated view of herself in the end I just think they could have experimented more. Same with the new emotions. I liked the characters, but sometimes I felt they cluttered things or were too nuanced to really justify them being there. But even with all that though I still like it, just not as much as the first 😂 After seeing the movie I started thinking I should do a Pixar tier list, so I’ve been contemplating these movies a little more heavily lol

I'm excited now. At first, I was meh because Pixar naraatuve wise has been mid-overall for me but the reviews look promising.

Yeah, the new emotions are okay but they definitely aren’t as well developed or memorable as the original crew.
Thanks for review 🎉
You’re welcome!
I was interested in watching this
I think it's definitely worth seeing, either now or when it hits Disney+ in a few months. Especially if you liked the first one.
