I studied English Literature abroad at Edinburgh (I actually met you outside of Starbucks once!) and did this whole tour as well. That was a few years ago and I've been missing it desperately, and none of my friends really seem to get it when I explain how special the Highlands are, but this video captures it perfectly (I think they get it now!). Thank you for letting me relive my favorite week :)

I went to the Isle of Skye in August and loved it, we camped for 5 days and stayed in durnis beside the castle!

As someone who's favorite part of trips is seeing the view while driving, thank you for including so much of the lovely views while on the road!! And thank you for taking us along, I love seeing these places I may never get the chance to visit. Loved every bit of this vlog, so so good!
My boyfriend and I went on a two week road trip round Scotland in August and I absolutely loved it. Totally get what you mean about keeping the driving sequences in, some of the best photos I took were when I was sat in the passenger seat.

The next time you're lucky enough to visit the Isle of Skye again, stay in Mungo's Den in Portnalong! It is absolutely adorable and it's so lovely to have your own little space infront of a woodburner in such a stunning landscape. Highly recommend as I go there a lot to paint the landscape nearby :) x

I live in America and I feel like driving is similar but also very very different there!! I got nervous every time a car was coming towards you and you would have to back up and let them through because the roads were so narrow yikes I would have a panic attack haha, all in all lovely video, jess!! x

If you ever get the chance to go further you have to head up to the islands (North and South Uist, Barra, Eriskay etc) They are stunning, with stretches and stretches of white beaches like the one in this vlog! Loved the video, made me very proud of my homeland ☺️xx
