This was a great vlog to watch Brittany. Thank you for touching on the fact that while you can camp pretty much anywhere in Scotland you shouldn't leave a trace of being there. My family live in rural Scotland and have seen some pretty bad wild camping recently with people leaving all sorts in their wake - rubbish, tents, clothing all sorts. Your vlog idea for next week sounds great and I'd love it if you can promote again to not take anything you wouldn't want to bring back. Thanks again for the great Scottish scenery!

I agree although I live in Fife and recently took my camper through half of the 500 and many off roads and there is a distinct lack of bins. I take my rubbish home and can't understand why people throw rubbish but that is one reason that would come to mind. Visit Scotland promote the 500 yet fail to cater for wild campers. And at £33 per night for said site, some people cannot afford it and wish to wild camp on a budget. On a brighter note, great video 📹 and hope you had a wonderful time xx

So glad this came up in my recommended! I was set to spend next month in Scotland but the restrictions in place for flying in from Canada right now have turned 'Scotland 2020' to 'Scotland 2021'. Thank you for sharing this amazing footage, especially of the Old Man of Storr. I will definitely be adding a 3 day trip to Skye to my itinerary next year. And thank you also for the rundown of your clothing. It's not much different from cottage attire here in the fall, so I should be well prepared & feel right at home. Lovely vlog. Made me nostalgic for our own trip to Scotland a few years ago. We loved the north, especially the highlands and Orkney. Really special. Laughed about your “noisy neighbours.” We camp a lot here in Canada. Have experienced inconsiderate campers who think everyone wants to listen to their loud laughter and their music. Have sometimes resorted to shouting “shut the bleep up” into the darkness. 😩

SO WAS I! I was fully anticipating Monica hair the whole trip. It could have been the Lush shampoo and conditioner I was using?! Or maybe wearing a hat most of the time helped.
