You don’t even realize how good of a salesman you are, or maybe you do. You weren’t braggy or annoying about your products, and you gave us all the info we needed, but still, I immediately went to your site. Good work! It’s nice to see somebody who off their products without claiming crazy things about it.
When fillers won’t do the trick anymore, I am flying from my home in Los Angeles Ca. to Troy Mi. to get have surgery with Dr Youn. Thank you so much for all your help 🌈🦋
I used the morning and evening products he recommended. It works great. I always have acne problems for years. My face looks a lot of better and most of acne was gone after trying three weeks.
Hi! I'm interested on vitamin C, but I have sensitive skin and fragrances are irritating to my skin. Do you have any recommendations for finding reputable and effective products? Thanks so much in advance!
Hey Dr Youn. I just want to thank you for all your brilliant videos. I follow all your advice and my skin looks great. I also share your videos with my family and friends. I too cannot afford your skin care line, but I love the fact that you tell us alternatives which we can use. Keep up the great work!
Dr Youn, im pretty sure a few years back, there was a huge cancer scare where all sunblock with vitamin E was pulled from shelves. The vitamin E interacted with something in the sunblock which in turn gave the wearer skin cancer. Your regimen mentions vitamin E and sunblock. Clarification is needed please! ty! big fan!
Were they chemical sunscreens (the most common type) or a zinc or titanium dioxide-based sunblock (my personal favorite)? I'd think you'd be safe with Vitamin E and the latter type of sunscreen.
Hi Dr. Youn. I enjoyed your videos, but am disappointed to find out that your company doesn't ship to Canada. Is that something you may consider in the near future?
Dr youn you have changed my life.. I follow all your tips and I can see it on my skin.. thank you so much for sharing this knowledge!! You are the best!
Morning: clean, serum vitamin C , and E, SPF +30 Evening: clean, serum or cream retinoid, 2/3 times a week exfoliating He dont mention eye cream too :)
The Ordinary, which is a brand that is sold at Ulta, has some good products. A lot of the products are under $10. I have tried a lot of different products from this line. I like their hyaluronic acid serum, their glycolic acid, retinol serum and their basic moisturizer. Unfortunately, I did not find any of their vitamins c products to work for me and found they did not sit on my skin well. I have been using a vitamin c serum from Paula's choice and there are coupons, but it is still expensive. I have heard a vitamin C serum from Timeless is good and is less. I am going to check Dr. Youn's line and see what that offers. Just a few suggestions. Skin care can be expensive. Hope this helps!
kwiet I’m confused, I tried hyaluronic acid by L’Oréal and it dried out my skin and Inhanced my wrinkled . I tried retinol and it rapidly caused hyperpigmentation. I have yet to find facial creams that don’t just bead up and look like white buggers on my face then I have to wash it off.
Retinol caused hyperpigmentation on my face in the middle of the winter and I even wore 40 block on my face everyday. So what gives? And hyrolaunic acid did the opposite it’s supposed to do dried out my skin and gave me wrinkles

Can you cover the cancer issue about sunblock chemicals being absorbed and accumulating in the human body ? Even mineral versions are carcinogenic only difference is it’s not absorbed as easily unless it nano particles. Mineral block also leaves this horrible grey hue on me and when I call manufacturers they just think I’m crazy and seeing things. What options do we have if we want to protect our skin with out commercial blocks. The sunblock hasn’t been safety tested since the 70s yet it’s accepted as safe when ingredients say otherwise
My dermatologist said that I had rosacha.. what do you recommend to use. I am 67 years old and I have never had any problems with my skin and I am freaking out about it.. please help me find something, weither you have something or not please let me know
Absolutely love your videos and I can't believe you're close to me. I was botched by a bust reduction and have a enlarged uterus and going to need skin removal. I'm turning 60 I don't have to many lines but have the lines in the corners of my mouth. One of the surgeons on here said filling marionette lines don't work? I wondered your opinion
But I love then 7 step Korean skin care routine what is the best collagen supplement do you recommend I believe in taking care of the inside as well as the outer portion of my skin routine?
Question about Retinoids helping to prevent skin cancers. Does it have to be prescription strength Tretinoin to get this benefit, or would an over the counter quality retinol also do this? I am 43, fair complected, and just had a squamous cell carcinoma removed from the apple of my left cheek six weeks ago. I will do anything to prevent more skin cancer, but I have sensitive skin and worry I won't be able to handle tretinoin.
Also sounds like you have sensitive skin (sAme for me) you MUST must use a good spf sunscreen even on cloudy days! I use spf 60! Essential! Also, exfoliate gently a couple days a week-I wouldn’t do it on retinol days as you don’t want to irritate already sensitive skin! I can’t say it enough-SUNSCREEN!!!!
Hi dr Youn, I wanted to ask- -if we do all the steps (toner, serum, emulsion, etc) without waiting in between, is each step still effective? Or do we have to wait a certain amount of time in order for it be effective at all? -can we put toner on with our hands? Or do we have to use a cotton pad? -is spf 18 sufficient on our faces if we barely go outside? Or should we opt for a higher spf? -the leftover liquid from a face mask, can we incorporate that into our daily regimen? Seems like such a waste to throw that away. If so, do we do it after cleansing and before toner? Thank you!
Hello, I am a fan of Dr. Youn and other dermatologists, I have seen other videos where he answers those questions: the toner and emulsion are not necessary, even so if you want to use it is better that you apply them with your hands because the friction that occurs with Cotton is not the best, you have to wait until it is absorbed to put the other products so that they do not mix and make a strange paste. The sunscreen gotta be of spf +30 minimum against uvb and uva, you can use the excess liquid from your masks on neck, hands and dry parts if you still have excess
Morning: Green tea cleanser Antioxidant serums like vit c and vit e Sunscreen Night: Cleanse your make up and wash Anti aging creams or moisturizer with Retinol (no parabens, phthalate etc) Exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week with a good exfoliating cream scrub
Will this help with jowls and neck also. I really hope I hear back from you. I highly respect you. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you & God Bless
I can vouch for this routine, I have been doing this EXACT step way for a few years now and it's the only way my skin stays in great shape. Yes they tell me I look much much younger than 57. I don't use Dr Youn products yet but willing to try them. I use 50+ sunscreen Avene. Tretinoin 0.05 at night followed by a moisturizer and a peptide. My skin in the morning is great, can really tell if I don't use them which happens some days. I use the clarisonic too. Thank you Dr Youn for the verification 😊
Kira Elli hi there. Would you be willing to share which products you use, especially the peptide product and your moisturizer? I would like to try. I am going to get Dr. Youn's green tea toner and his antioxidant product. I have a prescription for tretinoin gel microsphere 0.04% that I am getting from a Canadian pharmacy. And I will start using that. My skin is very oily and I still break out with acne and with persistent blackheads, even at age 60. Pimples and wrinkles. Not fun.
I have a extra sensitive skin..i cannot put anything on my face. i had used tretenoin 12years back along with clindamycin and my ache got cleared. However now every now and then i hav acne breakouts..so should i start retin A or retinol.
I live in Detroit. It is so cool that you have a practice in Michigan. I am a 60 year old African American woman. I don’t have wrinkles per se. I use the skin products that you mentioned. How much is a consultation with you or your partners? Thank you.
ajitha vuchula He’d. probably recommend chemical exfoliation. If you think about it the acids/enzymes in chemical exfoliants work to gradually dissolve dead skins cells, so in a sense they’re gentler since you aren’t physically scrubbing your face. Furthermore chemical exfoliants can contain ingredients that penetrate into deeper layers to help increase your skin’s exfoliation rate. I recommend the “AHA 30% + BHA 2%” chemical exfoliant from the Ordinary. Really cost efficient
You said we only need 2 things - vitamin C & a Retinoid. What about peptides, hyaluronic acid, glycolic acid, niacinamide, etc. - we don't need these too?? Please explain. Thx.
Kindly, Dr can you tell me what's the difference between sunblockand sunscreen ?and if Ineed to apply it when I'm at home or at office using the computer and no direct exposure to the sun Thanks
